Use an ad blocker from the play store if you are rooted. It is so great!!! The ads on apps disappear. Angry birds is ad free with one. The app is by bigtincan

But the ad comes in as a notification and once touched, it opens up the browser.

Still will work ad blockers block IP addresses of the ad hosting servers so it will work

lookout has a good app, and it will tell you which apps are doing funny stuff. its definitely an app doing it. heres the market link

The update is the greatest Fb update, till now. Neat and clean UI. It responds much faster. Viewing photos is an exceptionally fast experience now.

How does push notifications work with this new version?

Dont see what's faster. Choppy scrolling, takes 10 seconds to start up, and animations are hardly smooth. Other than ui changes I dont see how its better at all

I guess...as of now it's only possible in your Timeline on the comments or posts which are basically your own...

Something wrong there, the difference is noticeable even on a quad core device.

You can in fact delete any post / post + comments on your own timeline. Three dots on the right hand side.

Basically anything that you have poster or commented on you can delete, you can't edit though. But if you made a mistake why not delete and repost? Not that hard

[GAME] Tower Tactics (Beta-Signup)

Hello Everyone!
I'm working on an tower defense game with a friend of me which will be made in unity3d.
Still, there are some problems, like we don't have enough money to make this game. So i need your help. If you can just donate $1 or more to us, we can afford to make this game multiplatform and add more cool stuff to it.
What is our goal?​
We are trying to make a good ol' tower defense game, but with refreshing stuff, like you have to repair your turrets, because tanks will shoot them down and we are also trying to make a first person game mode, so you can walk freely around and kill these damn enemies.
Why tower defense?
We are making a tower defense game, because we got bored of all the same tower defense games. They all are the same, but with different textures.

It says 'Select' to see. Not click. Try selecting it as in copy and paste feature.

Ive noticed a few bugs right off the start. The option menu doesn't work, and you cant lose, life just goes negative. Also, you cant quit the game because there's no in game menu. Other than those few bugs, I cant see anything else. Ill play some more and keep updating what I find. Overall im liking this game.

Yeah options are disabled yet, because I need to fix some bugs in it. Negative health is because i haven't completed the Lost Game menu in the game yet. The InGame menu isn't completed as well. For the quit game restarting it is probably because of I have to do a different implentation for android instead of windows.

Was about to report also. But mostly same bugs previously reported. Will let you know if I find something different

+1 of this. Coming from New York, USA. I'm guessing the servers aren't here in America.
Got buffering about every 15-30 seconds. Unwatchable unfortunately.
Edit: I do love the idea. A lot of variety!!! I wish I had better service. I wonder if it's just my sucky Fios...

In Europe it's really fast... I'll see if I can do something about it.

It was every show I tried but now it won't even load the list of shows. It errors out and then closes the app.

I'm in the US but have tried it with multiple vpn connections including a couple in Europe. All I get now is the error when loading the shows.

Must be a problem with the American server. I hope it's a temporary problem, otherwise I'll try to find a solution.

I'm in America, California to be more specific and it seems to work well. Tried a couple shows so far. Every other time I try to open a show page I get a crash back to the main screen. Past that episodes load fine and play well on Wi-Fi. I'll test my 3g when I'm home in a better signal area.

Been working fine for me. Some things I have noticed though are the status bar not being hidden when playing a video, just cosmetic. I hope in the future there can a resume option. Make it more obvious which episodes are available, since some episodes are in the list that haven't been aired yet. That can get confusing. Just some observations from me.

Seemed to work well on 3g overall. Would be nice if you could choose a lower bit rate for videos to steam at though. Although not the fastest my connection wasn't bad. I ran a speed test at 768kb before playing and still hit buffering every minute or two.
One suggestion is to show how much has buffered in the player instead of just length and position. Then people with slower connections can see where the buffer is to know whether there good to go or should pause for a buffering break.

I'm in Florida and the server seems to be in pretty good conditions. I've been watching American Idol for the last 20 mins and only had to go through the initial buffering ...
One thing to notice is that I have no idea of knowing where my Buffer bar is; also, the quality goes up and down at will.
Several major audio sync problems are also present.

Looks like the problem is my vpn oddly enough. I turned it off and the app loaded the shows just fine. Once the app is loaded I can turn the vpn back on to play the videos. Not sure why that would be the case but doesn't look like anything is wrong on your end.

Thanks for sharing. Only watched about 5 minutes of Alf, to check out but good picture & sound, & no buffering. Has great shows. Will be nice that another user said shows that's not on my Netflix or on my Amazon Prime.

Does it require the internet connection to be switched ON for single player campaign too?

Nice game, glad to see Gameloft still support Play's touchpads (even i'm on ICS rom)

R800i , on ics rom and touchpads works (gameloft's games are almoust 100% compatible on ics stock based roms)
Ps: maybe xda app quoted wrong person? It happends to me a lot

All right now i have to add that I am annoyed. I played through about an hour. And loaded up tank battles again and it didnt save my last place. Despite being logged in to GL last time and this time. I even restored my data from TB of where i left off last time. Nada. If anyone else has this happen please list here. Perhaps its a bug.

Installed to my tablet, then copied the apk to my Xperia PLAY and it works perfect. Here is the link for the latest apk of Tank Battles. It works flawlessly on the XP.. despite GL and Google PLAY now saying our phone is not supported. As this is a free game I don't see an issue with sharing this apk, however if it is an issue will a MOD please let me know know and I will remove it asap....
