Anyone know of any "skip tracks using volume button" tricks for use with Spotify?

It's a bit odd to use your subject as a question....
Anyway no, I don't believe there is. Only if you're running a custom ROM I think!

Stuck it in the wrong category, not that odd, just a mistake... Cheers anyway though...

So you don't get it?.... We all don't got stock music player! I've uninstalled it because I don't like it. Even if you disable it with stock music player then uninstall it, you will have the controls in the notification bar. And therefore sir we need this patch

At my phone, i diable this, then delete the musicplayer and it dosnt come back...
If this is not work at all, ok I understand why you need the patch

[Q]Any way to DISABLE the 4 capacitive buttons?

Just like the title says. NOT to be confused with turning the back lights of those buttons. I want them disabled while running certain apps (YouTube, Videos). My daughter keeps on pressing them while watching videos. I know that my wife's iPad has that so why can we??? Any help will be appreciated.

Check out button remapper on the market, you can set them to do nothing while she's watching youtube or whatever, then set them back to default when she's done.
Thanks. Will give it a try.

Actually its dead on. Its a feature that allows you to skip to the next/previous song using the volume keys while the screen is off. Very useful feature.

OP Posted may 18th..... second post 19th.... 3 days eh?
Possibly people dont know the answer, would you prefer 10 posts saying I dont know?
Lots of views, including myself as I have been watching to see if anyone did know the answer...
As a side note, does the app speaker boost work on that type of rom?

Didn't think it was that hard of question seeing as a lot of people on here are developers and build there own ROMs.plus AOKP has been around for years so thought this would of been solved many times by now??Not sure about that app I know volume รท does ( bit hit and miss though)plus it really dulls the sound and any equalizer u try to use to even it back out including its own just makes the app stop and you lose the boost.I'll have a look at the app you mentioned and get back with an out come.Hopefully some developer can come up with some main volume hack like on Samsung stock ROMs.

What is the point of repeating EXACTLY what I had posted, 2 weeks later?
Why does this need to be done???

You may try buttonremapper and disable the button completely by setting empty value.
