[Resolved] [Q] HTC Eris headphone override?

Hey there. Just wondering if the general xda community could help me with a problem. My phone thinks there is headphones plugged in at all times. My sppealer still works fine tho and I've found a way to hear notifications, alarms and phone rings. I'm looking for a way to permanently override the headset to have all sounds played on my speaker, including music and phone calls . Any ideas?

[Q] How to disable headset

I would like to know, if (how) I can disable headset. Because broken jack remained in output so I can not talk normally.

[Q] How to disable the external speaker when headphones are in?

Hello
Whenever I have my headphones in, the music plays through the headphones. However, notifications and such if they're turned on will produce sound through the external speaker even if headphones are in. Is there a way to disable this feature? I was hoping it would be possible to disable the external speaker when headphones are in, and only produce sound through the headphones.

I use an app called "soundabout". That's the only way I have found to make it work.

Mine plays through the headphones and speaker. I'm sure people at the gym hate me.

Weird I never had that problem before every sound plays through my headset(the ones with a built-in Mic).

That's odd lol. Do you have any special settings enabled? What rom are you running?

[Q]Sound enhancements

hey folks, i was wondering if there was anything that can be done about the sound on our device (gt-p5113). Most Samsung phones has some kind of software-level sound enhancement that is baked into most roms, or flashable via cwm (or whatever recovery is being used). i was curious to know that was available for the tablets as well.
I am currently using the Noozxoide-eizo rewire app, and its helping, but its got nothing on my gs2 with the beats baked in along with that app...
If anyone knows if this even exists and can direct me where to find it, it would be most helpful.

Hi - I can't help you as I've tried a few things to get the sound up on my GT-5113 running open kang project by cmenard. You may be able to help me. How are you getting the Noozxoide to work? Maybe it's my rom but it doesn't show up under sound.

I understand where the app is. My problem is I don't see any setting under sound to use the app on my 5113. I loaded it on my Sgsii and see how it should work.

you adjust the settings within the app not the sound menu.

Bluetooth audio equalizer for MAXX?

I've recently upgraded from the HTC Rezound which was rooted/S-off and all that good stuff. I used DSP manager quite a bit connecting to my UE Boom box. I haven't been running a Moto phone in quite some time and was curious what equalizer would work best. The stock one does OK at best via the speaker but Bluetooth music sounds almost muffled now where it wasn't before. Thanks guys :beer:

I've been playing with the built-in equalizer and I don't believe it touches bluetooth audio, at least from what I can tell. Anyone know an app that does?

Yeah that's the issue..just sounds really flat..I've downloaded a few apps but none work
