The stock GB ROM on my Infuse doesnt display RTL languages properly. Is there a way to get stock GB with RTL working? I've tried morelocale2 but I bought my phone in US & I think it doesn't have baked in support for Arabic, Persian, Urdu and other RTL languages. This phone is my daily driver and I use it heavily (lots of streaming using plex). I flashed CM9 a long time ago and I remember it having RTL support but it was buggy and I moved back to stock. That was 2-3 years ago. If there's no way to get support for RTL languages in stock, I would like recommendations for a STABLE custom ROM.

I know that Ace ROM doesn't support Arabic and Farsi, i updated my desire hd with Ace RUU update that came out couple weeks a go, and neither my old rom and the gingerbread one support Arabic or Farsi, is there any way for gingerbread to support Arabic and Farsi or do i have to change ROM? i tried the Cyanogen ROM it worked perfectly but i just don't like that ROM, i like to stick with the Original HTC ROM with scene 2.1 or above, any suggestions?

Download or pull latinime.apk from cm7, delete the one on miui and push the cm7 apk in its place...

Think there need to be some other files to pull from CM7...

Not running miui these days, but when I did the steps above were sufficient. Perhaps some things have changed since, can't help you though as my current main phone can't run miui.

You need a deodexed rooted GB ROM and to apply a 'right to left' (RTL) script to enable numbers and mixed languages string input.
Once you have all these, just download an Arabic supported keyboard from the market.

I was wondering which ROM is the best for using in GSM networks reliably with Persian or Arabic RTL language support???
I've tried a patch from Rootzwiki for RTL support for GB 4.5.608 but it didn't work for me with no effect on stock ROM. Any useful suggestion?

I just downloaded a regular ROM (sky ICS in my case) and then installed a Hebrew keyboard. (slideIT keyboard click here and added a Hebrew pack here)
I send emails, texts and everything in Hebrew
Would that be a good solution for you ? I don't know if you can get a full ROM in Hebrew (menus & all) and I recommend avoiding a full Hebrew phone it will never be totally functional

By the way his post looks he is looking for a full interface hebrew rom, which as far as I know the only one close to it is CM9.
