hi brilliant minds,
I own a gionee elife e3 and i tried to put in the xperia HD v1 rom in it. I accidently missed updating the firmware to the chinese one and applied the zip file for the rom . Now my phone is stuck in the gionee logo screen and refuses to go ahead.
it is getting charged. and i can get into CMW to mount the sd card.
please help as soon as possible people.
thank you in advance.
Dont worry just flash another rom or stock rom of your device if available, or restore a backup if none of this worked then try the unbricking guide link in my sign but remember this is for other device you can take a tutorial

I have a galaxy tab 2 7.0 [GT-P3113]
I just flashed cwm recovery on it and rooted it, I've just wanted to try and uninstall clockworkmod and go back to stock recovery, I searched everywhere but I couldn't find anything for my tab model.
I'm running android 4.0.4, didn't flash any ROMs yet.

Thanks, I have some questions because I coudln't post a reply to that post.
-I live in egypt and I bought my tab from the US, this rom is for the US so should I flash it normally? (will I get the OTA updates)?
-should I backup my data and so? (sorry it's my first device)
You should get ota's as its 100% stock. As far as flashing it no need to backup anything. You won't have root or cwr to use your backup. Flash via Odin and you should be good to go.

*I done that for my Galaxy Ace, I believe should be the same.
reverting back to Stock from CWM all you need is Odin and stock firmware which able to obtain from sammobile.
flash is with stock ROM via Odin will bring everything back to stock. *after flash, make sure swipe your data & cache OTHERWISE it will stuck and become boot-loop.

I did flash the stock ROM and recovery via odin, and it worked perfectly, thanks for the info thought because once I forgot to wipe data and it was stuck on boot-loop till I reached recovery mode.
I meant isn't there a normal way to go back to android recovery without flashing new ROM?
Can't really have stock recovery AND root... seeing as you install root via CWM
Besides you can do way more with CWM over stock.

and also the unroot package
Create a new thread, don't post on an old one.
If you are rooted with custom recovery you can flash only the stock recovery using mobile odin.

getting back to original recovery from twrp recovery
i have karbonn smart tab 10 (cosmic) .i have installed twrp recovery on my tab. but i cant find any zip files when i go into recovery and twrp is not working properly.i cant even root my tab. i want to go back to original recovery.please help.
Do you have a P5100 , P5110 or P5113 ? It don´t sounds like!
If not - don´t use this files! This might brick your device!
If you don´t have a P51XX you need to find a Stock-Recovery or Custom-Recovery for your Device.
If you have P51XX download and flash a StockRom - or extract the recover.img inside the XXX_HOME.tar.md5 and make it Odin-Flashable using this tool and flash it with Odin.

You said when you boot, CWM starts. Are you sure its CWM or just stock recovery?
Same thing happened to my phone. I tried flashing a custom ROM but it didn't work. I took it to the service center and they re-installed the software. It happened while doing something related to root. Has the device been rooted? Also, is the device the S - 7500 or 7500L/W. Because I have the international S - 7500 version and I installed the file for the L version then this problem occured. So I suggest you take it to the official Samsung service center. But beware, if the device is rooted that means the warranty has been voided and you will most probably have to pay.

To flash a custom ROM :
1. CWM recovery
2. Apply update from SD card
3. Locate the zip file
4. Select the zip
5. Allow it to flash
6. After flashing is complete reboot the device.
I suggest trying the Atomblast ROM which I am currently using
Atomblast ROM - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30035037

This may also be the bootloop that occurs when the official software update is installed when the phone is rooted/CWM recovery is installed.
My son root this phone & this is international phone S-7500
so its means this phone is damage now ??
plz confirm
thx

What happened is he tried to flash an update on a modded phone. Had he done his proper research he would have know not to do this as once you flash your phone you lose the ability to do system updates. Copy a rom to the SD card and flash it. That should get home working again

Okay now download your stock rom from here
download flash tools from here
drivers from here.. install drivers accordingly to your os (32 bit or 64)
extract all packages
Flash your stock rom
*open sp flash tool click on scatter loading.
*browse and select file i.e MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc under extracted rom folder.
*click on firmware upgrade
and remember while or before flashing pull your batteries out and insert again.
best of luck /////:good::good::good::good:
cannot recover
U need to install stock rom like others saying but to avoid risk of more "accidents" bcuz of it just go service center with phone warranty n u should by fine within mins n ofcourse hit thanks

NEVER PULL OUT THE BATTERY WHILE FLASHING ANYTHING! That is the equivalent of smacking your phone with a sledgehammer. Cutting the power off while flashing a kernel/firmware will brick your phone for good.

Hi,
I tried to upgrade my MMX A110 to Jelly bean using SP Flash tool but ended up in a bricked device(Most probably a hard brick :crying
Now my phone is not turning on or showing any sign of life...(Even the battery LED indicator is dead:crying
What i got is this: BROM ERROR : S_DA_INVALID_ADDRESS(3036)
I've attached some screenshots and logs i got during the process. Please help me if there is any way of giving life back to my phone...
You format your device using sp tool?
If you have formatted than okay, and if not than its good.
Use download option instead of firmware upgrade to flash your rom.

What is the difference between Firmware-Upgrade & Download in SP Tools?
And can we install an ROM after formatting the device?

Have you flashed CWM recovery in your device before ? If you have then download any ROM for your device and flash it as per instructions given in the Rom's thread.. But if u havnt flashed CWM.. Then download Stock firmware of mmx A110.. And flash it through Sp flash tool.

Yes you can install rom even after full format with sp tools, but format using sp tools is never recommended.
Now the difference is, when you full format with sp tools, everything like bin region, secure information in ic like imei and memory partition are erased, so to gain proper partition you have to press download instead firmware update.
If you don't do it you can't boot up your device.
I don't know what you did with your device. But seems something like what I suggested will work.

Really !
I mean a rom which does not have a trace of a recovery can wipe your recovery partiton to wipe away the CWM recovery.
I am telling you ,this rom if from the real world and not the SUPERNATURAL world.
For logcat search google.
If you wanna try something new then you can try the lollipop systemUI i just posted.
I have tested it in my device.
