I8262: firmware & battery problems!!! - Samsung Galaxy Core

Hi all,
I bought an Core duos (I8262) four days ago....
1- When trying to update it, it gave that the mobile is modified and can't be updated!!! I used Odin to flash it with this firmware:
I8262XXAMG5_I8262OJVAMF2_I8262JVAMG2_HOME.tar.md5
IT STUCKED AT REBOOTING BUT then it booted with the following info:
Basedband version: I8262BVJAMC1
Build number: JZO54K.I8262XXAMG5
and the problem of updating still the same: "Your device has been modified. Software updates are not available".... How to get it back to an original firmware??
2- The battery percent drops dramatically after 35%... when it arrives to about 35%, in less than 10 minutes the percent decrease to 6% and the device shuts down though apparently no applications are working... is it firmware problem or battery problem??
Thanks
Abdo

Thanks androiderrr... As I mentioned in my post above, I tried to flash with "I8262XXAMG5_I8262OJVAMF2_I8262JVAMG2_HOME.tar.md5" taken from this link
androidxda.com/samsung-galaxy-core-duos-i8262-stock-rom
which is for Saudi Arabia... but the phone stuck at rebooting giving error "firmware upgrade encountered an issue please select recovery mode in kies & try again" and I couldn't go to recovery mode but can go to download mode!!! Trying to flash again but it failed!!!... Then, I tried the downgrade method using also "I8262XXAMG5_I8262OJVAMF2_I8262JVAMG2_HOME.tar.md5" following the steps on this site:
androidxda.com/downgrade-samsung-galaxy-core-duos-i8262
The mobile booted again but I can't update it and still having the same error ""Your device has been modified. Software updates are not available"
This is the full story
For root question, No, I haven't rooted it... is rooting may help me??

Your device is fine and nothing to worry abt.Regarding software updates....it will be only available if u flash ur phone with firmware specific to ur country. If u couldnt find one then service centre may help u with that otherwise just keep using ur phone

Unfortunately my phone is not working properly.... I'm trying to update it to resolve the battery problem... when the battery is about 40%, suddenly the device shuts down and when connecting to a charger it starts charging at 1%!!!!...may I'm wrong, but I think it's firmware problem!!!

Because I need Arabic, I tried to update to "I8262XXAMI2_I8262OJVAML1_MWD" but as happened before: with odin 3.07 it gave Pass but can't reboot and stuck at "firmware upgrade encountered an issue please select recovery mode in kies & try again" then when retrying with Odin 3.09 it gave Fail but it rebooted with new firmware!!!!
For the problem of battery, it was resolved by replacing the battery...
Which one of the newest firmwares " XXAML3" has Arabic language??
Another important thing, in download mode I noticed that the model of the device is GT-I8262B.... and in the "About device" : Model number: GT-I8262, Baseband version: I8262BVJAMC1, Build number: JZO52K.I8262XXAMI2...
Is there any special firmware for I8262B though I8262 firmwares seem to work with??

same problem with me

Reboots and more reboots + wifi problem

Hi, I've got an i9003 since December more or less, It give me some problems from the beginning. The phone stucks without reason, and I've to reboot, when I try to reboot the phone, in the PIN screen it reboots another time like five or six times and then starts normally. Lately the problem seems to be solved. In fact it no reboots but now I can't activate Wi-Fi, I try to, but shows "Connecting..." and later "Off"
My phone info:
Android Version: 2.3.6
Baseband: I9003XXKPQ
Kernel: 2.6.35.7-CL736163 [email protected] #1 (It's rare I think, it's a stock rom, it's not rooted... but "[email protected]"?)
Compilation: GINGERBREAD.XWKPJ
Thanks! I hope you can help me.

Hi! Then it may be the time to "touch" your firmware go to download mode and use odin to flash a firmware, it's okay if you flash again XXKPQ (there's actually an XXKPQ fw that DOESN'T NEED any pre-firmwares) hope this helps

[Q] Custom binary download: yes (1 count)

Hi,
few says ago updated to official 4.1.1. after that I wanted to install custom recovery from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831173
but tried first stock one. Tried also to install the CWMR and still when I use rom manager to go to recovery, I see "android system recovery 3e"
now, after holding volume - and power, and proceed to download mode I see this:
Odin mode
Product name: GT-N8000
Custom binary download: yes (1 count)
current binary: samsung official
sustem status: custom
what happened ? after updating to official 4.1.1, I just used exynos abuse to get root.
How do I reset this counter (I down't want to loose and install CWMR on my N8000 (3G+Wifi) ?
Lmao.......... that's what happens if you root your device.........
Don't worry.......... look for the "TriangleAway.apk" file just on these GN 10.1 forums......... you can patch your Note and finally get it to reset the counter.
Enjoy!
So how do I get cwmr touch to work? Can you explain more details how exactly to reset, flash recovery please?

I'm guessing that you didn't read all of that thread, specifically the part about deselecting auto-reboot when you flash it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831173&page=11
Right at the top of the page.
If you let it auto-reboot, a script runs that replace the stock recovery.
Steve
Ok, after I got some time, did the triangle away and current status is zero.
There is an official update to 4.1.2? Because after I click update it's just hangs there.

[Q] Cmw recovery menu stuck

I have tried to install cmw w/ odin on my GT-I9105p with this cmw file
mediafire.com/download/e4m7syuvnu7ymwv/CWMtouch-i9105_chotu.tar.md5.zip (sry for that i cant post links yet...)
After flashing and restarting, odin showed a green PASS after that i closed odin and powered off my device then i used the combination to get into the cmw recovery menu (Volume+, Power and Home).
Then a picture showed up: (im german so my phone is obviously set to german language) Kein Befehl wich means no command in english.
after that i was in the normal android revovery menu. So i want to know how i can get it to work. i tried to restart the devide multiple times.
-SkyboyLP
maybe you have downloaded a corrupted file try downloading and installing again... and make sure u open the file using bootloader button in odin
Please tell me partition was UN-CHECKED when you flashed it to your device?

Yes it was unchecked and every gude tells to click pda instad of bootloader.
I tried to secelt bootloader. it flashed and didnt work.
I dont have my bootloader unlocked. (i dont know if that is a problem)
Yeah, I'm pretty sure when your trying to root using Odin or supposed to select the file under pda. Try flashing it under pda instead of bootloader.

Samsung Galaxy s6 Not registered on network

Okay. so here is what happened. The new marshmallow update for the galaxy s6 came and i downloaded the update and started to install it. it failed at around 30% and rebooted my phone. I decided to try again and i downloaded the update and stll the same, but that's not the issue. after the second update attempt. i rebooted the phone that night and it was fine. but the next morning when i turned on the phone and tries to use my data connection it says not registered on network. My sim card is showing, i tried two different sim cards but the problem is still there. Im within the range of mobile service provider.
So what i did was i cleared the cache partition, the problem is still there.
i Factory reset my phone, the problem is still there.
So, Did anyone else face this problem?
If so, can you tell me how you solved it?
Can anyone help me with this issue.
I thank you in advance

The Csc doesn't have to match.
After flashing the stock ROM check if you have network service, that's how i fixed my problem.
After you flash the ROM just flash the TWRP like you normally do when you have a brand new phone.

I would recommend to use always ODIN if you are in 5.1.1 just be sure to flash the Marshmallow Modem and Bootloader firsts, then flash the ROM.
