QIK App for HD2?

hi everyone,
did anyone of you guys manage to get QIK running on HD2? I can install it and it runs through installation without any errors. But as soon as I try to start the application I get a black screen and nothing happens.
if you don´t know about qik, here´s the link
http://qik.com/
cheers.

Same here.
Tried some QIK versions for HTC, but none of them worked. What a shame for the most expensive HTC device.
Same here! And BambUser is worthless to on HD2, flickering pictures...
I posted something in thos thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=629080 but i don't think anyone has seen it.
qik, is a great Programm!
Cooks take a look on this, please make it run on HD2.
I wanna live stream videos to my friends!
Check qik.com for more information.
The new HTC EVO 4G runs it too!
hd2 is not on their supported device list. maybe that's why it's not working
I checked out the forum of QIk and even their employees are like sorry WE DO NOT OFFER any support for HTC HD2 and the employee posting in the qik forum goes on to say we have no ETA for support for QIK.
So we need to find another service or someone would need to modify the QIK App for us HD2 owners if that is at all possible.
Check LiveCast, not sure if they support the HD2

Live cast works but has a flicker..Not worth it
Live Cast is too bad Video Quality.
Unbelievable that no of the Live Video Streams works in good quality with the HD2:
Programms checked:
qik.com
flixwagon.com
kyte.tv
DOES SOMEBODY KNOWS ANOTHER GOOD WORKING LIVE VIDEO STREAM
SOFTWARE FOR THE HD2??
I believe that Qik will become backwards compatible with the screen resolutions and settings once the EVO 4G is released.
Granted, it'll start with the Android platform... but I'm sure that will open some possibilities for us Windows Mobile users with the HD2.
New Bambuser version that works... better...
Hi!
There was a new update for Bambuser this week and it works slightly better than the one before... but just slightly The flickering is still there, but now you can edit options and return to program without retstarting it like i had to do over and over again when trying different settings...
320x240 works ok now!
kick the Qik post 2 update 4 HD2
What is the best solution to get Bambuser on my HD2?
I look at your video ToddeSwe, and wonder how you get so much better quality then i did.
Hope anybody have a good answer
This live streamşng problem is just unacceptable!
HTC HD2 is an expensive device, HTC claims this is better than iphone (and it really is) but this is a huge problem.
Even ****ty Nokia's can do this..
HTC must do something, work with ustream or qik or bambuser and come up with some solution.
Solution to qik on HD2:
use darkstone's Froyo 2.2 android port v2.2 on your 16GB SD card (doesn't take much space at all) and the once in Android then goto Anroid market and then download QIK and u will be able to use it properly. It worked for me and I am using a TMOUSA HD2.

skype stopped developing for windows mobile. ive read that they are working on a wp7 version, but support for 6.5 has stopped. unfortunatly, the alternative i was going to reccommend, fring, has dropped skype support 'due to network stress' (there is a lot of talk that it is due to the iphone and apple not liking it), so i would expect a a lot of 3rd party providers to follow. you could have a look at nimbuzz, but ive got no experience in using it.

[Q] BIG Android Query !

Hello everyone,
(This is about Video Calling on Android platform.)
I currently use the Nokia 5800XM, and have to change it this month itself. And the transition has to go from symbian to android.
I've come down to two phones, the Google Nexus S, or the HTC Desire Z. I really love the qwerty pad on the desire and the HTC UI.
But, I had almost narrowed it down to the Nexus, due to the front camera, Gb 2.3, the GPU, and the Amoled display, but I read somewhere(probably on wikipedia), that Android does not have a native app for video calling.
Does that mean that I cannot do any video calls to a phone number through the 3G network of the carrier ?? Coz when I searched google, I only found apps that did that over Wi-fi or 3G, but through the internet, and to an id, not on a number. For example, when I had to do it on the 5800, I just had to select the contact, click on call, and then video call. Is this possible on an Android device ?? I mean it should be !! (Probably this will make me go for the Desire)
What I'm asking basically is can we make video calls to phone numbers and not a user ID (coz if i use tango or skype or fing, the other person should also thave the same software installed) ??
Please Help !!

[Q] HD Voice (aka AMR-WB) support on Omnia 7?

Hello all. As you may be aware, the Samsung Omnia 7 handset has HD Voice capability, also known as AMR-WB (see YouTube for some more information on it). Three UK and Orange UK support this protocol, and yet I don't think it's enabled.
Can someone inform me if it is enabled, or is anyone else on Three UK with a Samsung Omnia 7 and willing to test it out?
Found this on a three blog:
It has to be a phone that originated from Three as you’re unable to update their software to Three software if it’s a generic handset. If it’s generic it’s possible that the HD Voice feature won’t be enabled.
