Inverted TouchWiz Apks For AT&T Stock Deodexed MJ5
I thought I'd make these fully inverted stock themed apks (somewhat stock themed anyway) like I did for the T-Mobile variant
for those that would prefer not to use a theme, but would like to use their dark counterparts.
Warning!
These are just stock deodexed MJ5 apks with no additional mods included.
If your current apks are modded in anyway, those mods will need to be re-added to these apks.
How to
Download zip to your phone
Reboot into custom recovery
Make a backup or at least back up the apks that will be replaced.
Flash zip
Reboot
SecContacts and SecPhone apks
http://sourceforge.net/projects/not...Inverted_Stock_ContactsPhone_MJ5.zip/download
SecMms apk
http://sourceforge.net/projects/note3900t/files/Inverted ATT/Att_Inverted_Stock_Mms_MJ5.zip/download
FlashBarService apk (Multi Window)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/not...verted_Stock_FlashBarService_MJ5.zip/download
I won't have a problem sharing these, but if you would like to include them in your rom or use them as a base for a theme, please ask first.
There were hundreds of xmls edited to achieve this and not to mention digging for the smali files that also needed to be changed. I just ask for some courtesy.
Thanks and enjoy!
Oh and don't forget to smash that thanks button
Just in case.

Thanks man. The contacts in this one is a little more updated than the last one I helped you with. It also includes the smali edits needed. Feel free to grab it if you want.
And don't worry about the call recording, I posted these as just stock and will leave any additional mods to those that might want to mod them.
Thanks though.

Got your PM. I thought this wouldn't work unless the ROM was deodexed, but I guess it will.
I'm running MI9 still...will that cause problems with MJ5 apks?

As for the running MJ5 apks on MI9, I wouldn't really know since I don't have the at&t variant and don't know what was changed between those updates. Glad you're not having any issues though and I would recommend to keep backups of the apks that were replaced just in case.

I'm not really into themeing store apps because they need to be redone every time they get updated and I usually don't have time to keep up with them. But, Gunthermic has one done over in the Verizon section here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2490100.

You must have flashed this on a odexed stock rom. This is for deodexed stock. You're gonna have to delete the odex files in the system/app folder of your phone for each of the apks you installed from here. Then reboot.
Thanks! Just found the answer to my question on your T-Mobile N3 thread. In my years of android tinkering I still haven't figured out what odex means.. lol thanks foreverloco

There's one in the T-Mobile section here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2617475. I'm not sure if it'll work without issues on AT&T, so I'd suggest backing up your apk before flashing. If it doesn't work, you can try asking nijel8 if he would be willing to do the AT&T version.

This keyboard worked fine for me on GalaxyMOD 14.1, and now CleanROM. I flashed it in TWRP and turned on the keyboard in Language & Input settings. That was it. Make sure you have it enabled, and if you're using the 4.2 Keyboard a long press of the spacebar should bring up your inout selection to use the emojis...

It's because the TW MMS app doesn't support emoji. You need a third party SMS app or AOSP MMS apk that supports emoji

The issue you're getting has to be something with the ROM you're on. I would also make sure you have the AOSP 4.2 keyboard flashed, not just the Emoji one, works perfectly in that combination for me on CleanROM 5.6.

It could be an issue of Kii or Handcent acting up. I'm not really sure though, I don't use either of those.

If you're anything like me, you really like the stock LGMessage.apk with the pop-over notification. You know you can get similar functionality in a variety of third-party SMS programs, but you like that oh-so-stock feeling...
But, oh no! The stock messaging app has this annoying habit of turning the screen on every single time you get a message.
When you're like me, sending over 200-300 texts a day, this will just not do.
Enter, the attached deodexed, ever-so-slightly customized LGMessage.apk -- with screen-on notification removed, and everything else the same.
Installation Instructions:
* Back-up LGMessage.apk and LGMessage.odex from /system/app
* Move existing LGMessage.apk and LGMessage.odex to some other location outside of /system/app (I put mine in my dropbox)
* Copy over this newly modified LGMessage.apk
* Reboot
* Profit
Link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/68362468/LGMessage.apk
This file was relatively manually deodexed, edited, recompiled and signed with assistance from the following:
Smali / Baksmali (for decompile/compile)
Android SDK / Eclipse (for pulling/pushing/code-diving)
Notepad++ (for search in files)
Beer (for motivation)
Aleksandar Despotovski's Android Ultimate Toolbox Pro (for signing)
Im on vzw and havent noticed my screen turning on for every text. What are you on?

I would need the following files:
/system/app/LGMessage.apk
/system/app/LGMessage.odex
/system/framework/lge-res.apk
Note: None of these files contain any personal user information, as they are the stand-alone application/related resources.
If your phone is already rooted/deodexed, then *just* the LGMessage.apk should be enough.
It is entirely possible that the APK and/or resource file is not named the same on that phone, in which case other variations I have seen in the past are: SecMms.apk, Mms.apk, and Message.apk
Just give me approximately 15-30 minutes to upload them. BTW, in the OG Pro it is UniMessagebin.
Thanks again for trying and hope you succeed!

Shakes- so here's the deal, the UniMessagebin is quite a bit different than the LG G2 implementation.
I was able to track down what I think are the two tweaks necessary to disable screen-on notification, but I have no good way of testing this so it is a real shot in the dark.
Please, please realize this and do due diligence and back-up your files just in case.
Installation Instructions:
* Backup UniMessagebin.apk and UniMessagebin.odex from /system/app
* Move existing UniMessagebin.apk and UniMessagebin.odex to some other location outside of /system/app (I put mine in my dropbox)
* Copy over the newly modified UniMessagebin.apk

* Hopefully it works...

In nearly every case, emoji's are just pictures sent as an MMS when used on Android phones instead of a special softbank short code for said image.
I had to download a modified UniMessagebin from I think a LGOG because that one does not turn it to MMS. However it does not support XXHDPI resolution so the fonts are not as small as they are supposed to be. Is there a way to disable auto MMS conversion when including emojis?

Not that I'm aware of, but I don't know much about MMS/emoji technology.
I was under the impression that emoji's were specialized character encodings and that the reason most Android systems turn them into MMS is for more universal usage without the worries of character encoding compatibility.
Sorry I can't help more :/

So, the EXTREME SYNDICATE ROM by elliwigy is extremely slimmed down, fast, and just all around awesome. With that comes the challenge of what to include and what to exclude in the ROM. I'm on your latest ROM right now and it works. It also worked on Rick's ROM V8, not sure about current.

OK sorry hours of this and I am tired but this is what I got so far and I think I am close...Maybe elliwigy can do it real quick since he is all setup.
I got the SystemUI.apk and SecSettings.apk from ExtremeDebloatDeOdex_v1_5 which I remember had the Flashlight already. I loaded them up and although not dark themed etc. the Flashlight showed up and worked on NE9 of course. Since Misterxtc thinks it may be the smali, I grabbed that from the SystemUI.apk and have it on the side. Tomorrow I am going to try to decomile the current ROM SystemUI and SecSettings APKs and do the same process that elliwigy had pointed me to but this time use the FlashlightQuickSettingButton.smali file from ExtremeDebloatDeOdex_v1_5 and see if that works.
Now, elliwigy, do you still have the decompiled apks that maybe you can do the above quicker than I can? I only ask because first I have never done this before and not sure I am doing it all correctly and second, had some real challenges to get to decompile/recompile these APKs. At one point I had it showing but would not turn on the light. I know you worked hard on this and if you do not feel like messing with it again then I would be glad to keep beating on it.

Maybe I should have replied in the other thread, sorry about that. Please let me know how I can help. I like the idea of v2, a lot.
This ROM is now obsolete! My new ROM is called "Plasma ROM" - check that one out!

Sorry. I had screenshots, but DevDB projects are buggy and they are gone. I am adding the dark theme screenshots now. As for the AOSP theme, that is coming soon (hopefully).
EDIT: They're up! The AOSP theme will hopefully look something like this.
Not Lollipop, bold move! I am walking away from lollipop, so thanks for giving us another option!

I am working on a lollipop upgrade...
New update tonight: 1.5! I have fixed Chrome and almost finished most of the AOSP theme. Will also be updating base ROM from Extreme Debloat 1.0 to 1.5.
Is the aosp theme build off of the stock ui? As in lockscreen, notification bar and everything?

i spoke ahead of myself lol, I have no idea how to theme. i know someone who does, and I just send a PM to him to see if he could show me. I'm hoping it will look something like this.
I just removed the "AOSP Theme coming soon" thing because it's not 100% guarranteed yet, but it will probably still be coming!
Worst case, I will try to port the SystemUI and framework-res.apk from Eclipse ROM. (Or maybe even the Nexus 5...)
EDIT: Just got explained how to theme (thanks DROIDRAZ). When I get home tonight I will theme the APKs and hopefully include them in v1.6
Edit: nevermind. Didnt read everything like an idiot
Can we install this just with Safestrap or do we need to use flashfire?

I tried downloading a few APKs but with no luck. Maybe i need to take the back route and att them into their respective folders instead of flashing in Safestrap

I removed GoogleContactsSyncAdapter. Try copying it from WizzleWOM. Will post some links tonight.
In the 1.6 update tonight, will add back Email, ContactsSync, etc.
