"contack your servers provider" interesting concept.
Are you trying to SIM unlock your phone? If so, it's already been discussed as to how to unlock the phone for use on any network. Please read before posting or take the advice of the error message.
If entered incorrectly multiple times you already locked it permanently to network

Actually I have a similar question- I used both of our available methods to dig up the sim unlock code, both yielded the same exact code. I tried it 2/3 times and phone just gave me a middle finger. Is there any way to reset the number of attempts or am I pretty much almost screwed here?
Does rooting affect this at all or not?

Wallet on AOKP M1/ NFC Question

Looking to get Google wallet up and running on my phone. I have it installed, but when it asks me to enable my NFC, and I go to check it, it stays greyed out. Is this normal for AOKP? Is there a fix? Thanks!

Disregard last comment. You are going to need to inject your imei. If you have the box your phone came in, that would be great.

Imei is also behind the battery should be able to restore it using qpst I just had to do this. If you search for how to restore imei with qpst you should find a tut. Don't have a link atm.

I have odin back to ics 4.0.4 and then tried the dialer code to no luck, then tried a stock 4.1.2 and no luck. I did get my meid back doing this and my phone number is still correct. I do have qpst as i have flashed a few phones to cricket. Would just hate to screw up my replacement s3. I dont have original box as it was an insurance replacement so i believe its a refurb.ill look for a qpst instruction page but if anyone knows the link i would greatly appreciate it. I was able to get my text and talk back but still stuck in data roaming..... so i guess qpst is next step. Btw i did flash back to PA 3 4.2.2. Should i odin back to stock b4 using qpst??
fixed
Got it working after two days of messing with it. Used the samsung xda restore app, it was hard to find the .rar but i was able to simply type in g imei. Strange part is someone had mistakenly typed my imeid into verizon stating that it was lost or stolen so once i called verizon with the proper imei provisioned i was good to go. Thank u all for ur help!XDA is the best site for accurate feedback from people who care.
Woooo xda!

[Q] [Help]Attempting to Unroot Phone, Phone's Powercycling

Hello everyone. So today I tried to root my phone for the first time and all was fine. I could download and use apps that required root access. Then I tried to flash CM 10.1.3, and that's where things got messy. After I flashed, it was saying that unauthorized software was on my phone, and I had to go to verizon. I figured this was because my bootloader unlock didn't work. So I tried flashing a stock 4.1.2 rom, and now my phone's just powercycling. Any ideas? Yes, I am new to this, feel free to yell at me for being an idiot for forgetting some obvious thing.
I think you need to Odin back to a stock build and then repeat the entire process of rooting, unlocking, etc.
I could also be wrong, so we'll get yelled at together.

Wait for someone to confirm that Odin is the way to go. If so, this thread should help you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2456000

You'e right lol
@Elerock, does powercycling = stuck at the Verizon LTE splash screen or boot animation? If so, boot into recovery (hold power, home, and volume up) then do a factory reset. Root and unlock following these directions.

[Q] 'Emergency calls only' after ROM upgrade

Colleagues,
My Galaxy Note 2 came with its stock ROM, which I decided to upgrade. Because I didn't know what I was doing, and I was following several sets of instructions, I messed about in CWM wiping and formatting various bits (what an idiot!). Eventually I got a good build and it all worked fine. However.......
Could I do something in CWM that would wipe out the mobile voice and data functionality?
Here are the symptoms: when scanning for 'Network Operators' it finds five of them, including my own (O2-UK). When I tell it to choose O2-UK, it says the phone is registered on the network, and the signal strength meter is about two thirds of the way up.
However, the phone reports "Emergency calls only" and no voice or data service. It won't send or receive any calls.
I can't believe it's a hardware fault, because the radio is obviously working OK as it can see the various mobile networks, 'register' on O2-UK, and update the signal strength meter. It seems more like I've accidentally deleted some essential piece of software (a driver?).
I've tried several custom ROMS; I've installed a couple of different modems, and I've installed a new kernel. Nothing makes a difference. Here is what I'm currently running:
Android version 4.4.2
Baseband version N7100XXUEMJ5 (EMI6 also tried)
Kernel version 3.0.101-India-v2.7.3-OC-INTL [email protected] #1
CyanogenMod version 11-20140319-Linaro-n7100
Build date Wed Mar 19 01:26:42 CDT 2014
Build number cmn7100-userdebug 4.4.2 KOT49H e464f01cde2 test-keys
Have you any idea what I could do to get the telephony working? I'm out of ideas. So far I've turned it into a fine 5.5" Android tablet!
Many thanks,
Steve

Ah, thank you, Vithlani2. The IMEI number from dialing *#06# is:
354666056818321
The IMEI number inside the phone is:
354666/05/861832/3
If I remove the slashes and compare:
354666056818321
354666058618323
The ...68... is reversed to ...86... and the final 1 is changed to a 3.
Could this be the problem, do you think? If so, is it possible to fix it?
(I forgot to add in my first email that the SIM card works in two other phones, which suggests the SIM card and my local O2 network are working OK).
Thanks,
Steve
Just to add: there is a file manager than comes with this ROM. I read somewhere that Samsung keep the IMEI in the 'efs' partition (thought I don't know if that is true, I just read it).
By starting at the root, and giving permission, I can see a folder called 'EFS'. Inside that is a folder called 'imei', which contains a file called 'mps_code.dat'.
However, this file is only three bytes long so it can't contain the IMEI, I believe.

Thank you very much for trying to help. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Using Maui META 3G v6.1316.01. I'm following the procedure here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CokpIVGPBw
It fails at the point where I switch the phone on with the cable plugged in (1m 15s): Maui simply doesn't see my phone - it just says "Please connet cable to target and power on", and doesn't change no matter what I do with my phone.
The Samsung USB drivers and cable are fine because I can talk to the phone with Odin3, which is how I installed the custom ROM.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks again,
Steve

Thank you so much for trying. I've spent ages on this and have tried every vaguely reputable tool I can find, to no avail. On Monday it is going to a service centre.
I will let you know the outcome.
Have a good weekend,
Steve
