TESTED and WORKING ODIN FLASHABLE BUNDLES for Samsung Galaxy Y
Preface:
Since Galaxy Y has been released, there are several firmware files available from different sources, eg. sammobile and etc... But most of these firmware packages (which are original unmodified Kies files) are useless for us, because Odin is not able to flash these files.
Therefore I started to analyze the Kies pack, and finally developed a method to convert the Kies files to Odin-able package.
The full conversion process of one pack took me about 2-3 hours including download, analyze, rebuild, test, upload, and finally post. So please keep in mind, I'm not just a redistributor of the firmware files, I've real work in it. Your thanks (button) and donations are very welcome, if my work helps you anyway.
In case Your work based in my rebuilt bundles, crediting me is expected. Stealing my work is unforgivable.

Depending on your interest (and my spare time), I'll build additional versions...
In case You have a specific request, please post your full version info from dialer *#1234# (if you're on your original ROM) and PCODE from *2767*4387264636# !
My recommendation to record above info when you're on your original ROM, before experimenting any other versions!
Please read post #2 and #3 for flashing guide and FAQ!
<<< Please use the thanks button if you find it useful! >>>
Odin flash guide...
Before You proceed: take a notice, and record your original (in case you are on original stock fw) firmware levels by typing *#1234# and PCODE by *2767*4387264636#. This might be helpful if you want to go back to your original in-box firmware.
Check WHITE-CZ's video tutorial on the boot mode selection, and Odin flash!
- download the required firmware bundle (one of the repacked from the #1 post above)
- install Kies, or Samsung driver pack
- unzip the package, You'll get 3 *.tar (or tar.md5) files
- download Odin3 1.84 or 1.85 (click here)
- stop Kies
- stop all active ADB sessions
- start odin
- do backup of your data and apps
- charge your SGY at least 75%
- remove SGY from USB or charger
- start the device in Download mode
- power off Your SGY
- wait 30 sec
- Press Vol Down, Home, and Power at the same time
- When (about 5 sec) Warning screen appears, release Volume Down and Power, then (a bit later) Home
- press Vol Up (You'll get Odin mode screen)
- Browse the 3 tar files to odin PDA=PDA_xxxx.tar, PHONE=MODEM_ or PHONE_xxxxx.tar, CSC=CSC_xxxxx.tar
- no PIT and/or BOOT files required - leave it empty!
- leave all other fields and checkboxes default!
- connect your phone, You must see yellow 0:[COMxx] in the first ID:COM and "Added" in the message box
- Start flashing by the START button.
- flashing will start immediately, see the progress in the message box, and progress bar on the phone
- Wait 1-3 minutes, until green PASS! in the upper left
- SGY will reboot, leave it as is for 2-5 minutes until startup finishes
- if it stuck (eg boot anim loop) then: - Start the phone in Recovery mode
- remove battery
- resinsert battery, wait 30 sec
- press Vol Up, Home, Power at the same time
- when Galaxy Y logo appears, release the Power button
- when Recovery menu appears, release the Home button first, then finally Vol Up
- select wipe data/factory reset (Vol UP/Down + Home)
- select reboot system nowWhen Android boots up, it's highly recommended to set your CSC via the dialer *#272*_your_imei_# (to see IMEI type *#06# in dialer) -> (it will erase all your data on the phone, but not the SD card)

- DDLA3 :minor CSC file corruption. may cause boot loop after flashing via Odin -> CSC corrected -> full pack replaced
- DXLA1 : 1 report (of 150+ download) on unrecoverable boot loop after flashing - reason unknown
- as of 10th of April I made some changes in the firmware pack: files are md5 secured and update packs are wipe versions. It means you suffer "factory reset" by flashing new firmware, but this way there is minimal occurrence of boot loop after a flash.
FAQ
F.A.Q.
Q: I'm requesting x or y provider/country's ROM version to restore my phone's original state
A: In case You have a specific request, please post your PCODE from *2767*4387264636# and full version info from dialer *#1234# of your original ROM version. If you don't have this (already left original ROM) , then ask someone who has the same device with same provider/country! Check availability on http://fus.nanzen.se If you're smart enough, you can download the FUS file, then convert it by SplitFUS2.
If converting is difficult to you, then post it here or PM me.
Withoout PCODE and full HIDSWVER I can't help you!
plan B for finding original HIDSWVER
If you have Kies installed, and connected your phone with the original firmware, you have good chance to find it in Windows registry:
Start regedit.exe and check under the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Samsung\Kies\DeviceDB...
there should be some numbered sub-keys, eg 1, 2, 3, etc...
Under the numbered keys, look for "HIDSWVER" It has the following format:
I9100XWKI4/I9100OXXKI2/I9100XXKI1/I9100XWKI4
Notice the ProductCode key at the same page, it's useful to search for FUS packages at http://fus.nanzen.se
Q: Flashing any firmware to my phone will erase the network lock?
A: NO. The network (or SIM) lock still remain active. By flashing firmware you can't deactivate the lock. It's stored elsewhere.
Q: Flashing an operator specific firmware will restrict my open phone to that operator's network?
A: NO. Your phone still remain open for any SIM. Operator specific builds usually containing "only" bloatwares, wallpapers and/or browser settings, etc...
Q: Is it possible to update the PDA or MODEM only
A: Yes, You can update any one component independently if you have a good reason for, but remember: recommended to have consistent components
Q: Where is the bootloader tar and pit file?
A: those are not used for a Kies like update. You can find totoro*.pit and bootloader in other S5360 firmware bundles, and use if you really need it, but not necessarily needed for flashing
Q: Do I need to tick repartition?
A: NO! Leave all check-boxes as default!
Q: Really??? Do not tick repartition?
A: REALLY, I told You! Leave it unticked!!! ...And leave bootloader empty as well! COPY THAT?!?!?!
Q: Will Odin increase my custom bin counter flashing these packs?
A: No. Custom bin counter increased in case, when you flash non-stock firmware. Bundles provided here are all stock files.
Q: Wipe vs Non wipe packs?
A: Wipe pack has been build including an empty userdata partition, that way flashing a wipe pack will erase your user data.
Usually wipe packs has less issues after flashing, that way as of 10th of April I've decided to post here wipe packs only.
Q: I've got no issues in the past with non wipe packs. I want to flash new firmwares by having my data untouched. Can I modify wipe pack to non wipe pack?
A: Yes: Rename PDA*.tar.md5 to *.tar, then remove the userdata.img file! Don't forget to backup, because non wipe packs sometimes leads you to boot loop, and the solution is wipe data/cache.

wow! quite an achievement! excellent job, man !
Too bad, that Kies only flashes the SGY a single time, until the next update. so one can't research Kies a lot during flash updates. And there seems to be no way to force the SGY into a pristine state, so Kies would update it again.

Yes, you're right, ... but...
There are country specific CSC codes, and there are provider specific CSCs as well .
For example, my country code is XEH, which CSC contains all the providers in the country. (I suppose) these country wide CSC's does not contains provider specific bloatwares, only basic parameters like voicemail number, APN, browser homepage etc... "Rebranding" requires provider specific CSC like PAN or VDH in my case.

Well, You're talking about firmware region codes, I'm talking about CSC's.
Regional code determines, which languages supported by the firmware build itself.
CSC determines, which provider's base settings are predefined (and provider specific other things included)
But I'm affraid, we're going offtopic... If you have any specific (language or provider) request, please let me know, and I'll build it for You!
(I've corrected "region" to "brand" in the OP ;-)

Odin v1.85 and v1.84 do work with our SGYs.
my best guess is, other versions of ODIN do not work. (I tried 2.42 or so)
what would be the result of repartitioning and including the .pit file ?
would it brick the SGY ? the readme file speaks of possible missing files.

rebranding typically adds useless bloatware, that we need to get rid of. (such as wallpapers with stupid company logos and crap)

The main purpose of rebranding, to let providers set up automatically some carrier specific parameters such as voicemail, SMS center phone numbers, 3G Access Point Names (APNs) etc...
While Android is much more customizable, rebranding likely used by providers, to add their own wallpapers, icons, applications etc...
So rebranding may be skipped, but in case you might need to set up some carrier specific parameters manually.

Before we proceed, make sure:
1-You have installed your Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500/5 USB drivers on your PC (the easiest way is to install Kies).
2-You need to enable USB debugging mode which is deactivated by default. (you can skip it )
3-Your S4 should have 70-80% charge remaining.
4-Your S4 should be factory unlocked. (for locked phone, flash carrier firmware to stay on warranty)
5-Backup your important data like Call logs, SMS and other data stored in phone memory in case if anything goes wrong, your data is not hurt. (For backuping apps and their data and internal sdcard via ADB, see here.)
6-Make sure that kies program is not running & disable antivirus.
This guide is only for Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 & GT-I9505. So don’t bother to try it on other devices.
How to do it:
Step 1) Turn OFF your mobile and go to Download Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down + Home Buttons together for few seconds followed by Power button then proceed with volume up.
Step 2) Now open ODIN on your PC and connect your Galaxy S4 to your computer.
Step 3) Once your phone is successfully connected to your PC, the ID:COM box on ODIN will turn blue (or yellow) and will show the COM port number.
Step 4) unzip the downloaded firmware, u will get a tar file.
Step 5) click on pda in odin (if odin 3.09 choose AP) and choose the file ".tar"
Step 6) check "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" options and make sure that "Re-Partition" is unchecked
!!!!DO NOT CHECK "Nand Erase All" IN ANY WAY!!!!
Step 7) Click on Start button in ODIN window to start the flashing process. The process will take few minutes to complete.
DO NOT UNPLUG USB CABLE WHILE EXECUTING THE PROCESS, YOU MAY BRICK YOUR PHONE!
Step 8) When the installation is completed, you read a "Reset " then a "Pass". your phone will restart (first boot will take a longer time so don't panic) :good:
It is recommended to make hard reset after flashing to have a fresh official firmware
Note 1: Personally, i prefer to wipe data and cache before and after flashing the firmware.
Note 2: If you have a corrupted partition table (Odin says: "there is no pit partition" or "Re-Partition operation failed"), flash pit file for your device (attached, dont forget to unzip it) (put it in pit window) with your firmware (some users reported that it worked without firmware), in this case "Re-Partition" must be marked.
Note 3: If you use pit file, and you had an encryption password for your data, the password will reset! so you must hard reset your phone after flashing with pit file with encrypted data.
Note 4: If you want, after rooting with odin, to get official status and reset binary counter ON I9505 for warranty reason, do it before flashing stock firmware, refer to HERE.
Note 5: To change to the new CSC, just boot into recovery, wipe data and cache, reboot. If not use this great app to change your product code (must be rooted).
Note 6: If you flash I9500 stock firmware for China region, it will flash sboot.bin with it, that leads to have a Chinese bootloader (download mode will be in Chinese language and boot splash name will change). Even if you flash other stock firmware, it will not change the bootloader. So flash "GT-I9500_sboot.tar" (attached) as pda in Odin and it will fix the issue. (works on 4.2.2 firmwares!)
Note 7: Once stock 4.3/4.4.2 firmware is flashed, you can not downgrade to a previous version due to the new bootloader.
Odin troubleshooting: If Odin accidentally gives you "fail" try the following:
- Repeat procedure.
- Make sure that all actions of Kies are disabled from task manager.
- Change usb port.
- Try another usb cable (make sure it is the original).
- Try another Odin version.
- Uninstall and re-install driver.
- Use pit file.
- Try another computer.
Bootloop troubleshooting: Bootloop occurs when a smartphone is not able to boot properly and stuck on Bootanimation and mainly caused by system files interfering with each others which cause instability and/or crash at the boot sequence. How to fix:
- Boot the device either into stock or custom recovery mode, wipe cache then reboot, if still, boot again in recovery and wipe data/factory reset then reboot. If not:
- Restore a nandroid backup with custom recovery if present. If not:
- Flash or reflash the official stock firmware. If not:
- Flash stock firmware with the appropriate pit file, after "pass", unplug usb cable, pull battery out for a minute, insert it, boot into recovery, wipe data and cache, reboot.

Different csc. I will post NEE
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Which will be the steps to change a COA(Romania) firmware with NEE in order to receive future OTAs ?
Is it difficult to change the CSC in phone to match the firmware to make it recognizable in Kies?
I like more NEE and I've used this in S2 and S3.
Thanks

Yes please, do that.
Also, are there custom ROMs available for the S4 already ?

Thanks So if I'm using the EE firmware, does my phone still need to be factory unlocked? As at the moment it's locked on EE?

Soft brick in S4 i9500
Friends, I have a problem!!!
I did the actualization on my S4 and I was trying to put more space in my SDcard, when I turned it off when it was trying to unmount internal SDcard (it was my fault because I was changing the vold... file)..
So, When I was boot it, the phone just go in recovery mode and couldnt mount any file (always in mount files error).
I can access recovery mode, but I cant mount or unmount any directories (always in error).
I can access the phone in ODIN, and I tried to re-install the original FW. It did well, but the phone cant finish the instalation because it cant mount anything.
I think the phone have the files or partition corrupted!!! I'm trying to use adb shell, but I cant access the phone (error: device not found). I can access in ODIN, but with ADB no.
Somebody had this problem or could help me to solve it, please!!!
Tks in advance!
Barros

Welcome to the Samsung stock rom collection!
All of these rom's are based on stock firmware's released by Samsung for our i9305 and are slightly modified. More important, they are stable, smooth and reliable builds, with most of the unnecessary bloatware removed, including KNOX!!
My friend @kenar2, started the first stock rom's on his thread here, unfortunately he has no time for Android anymore, so you can see this as a continuation of his work if you prefer so
Changes made for all the rom's:
● Unbranded, S5 boot/shutdown animation
● Power off sound disabled
● New 4.4.4 bootloader not included
● Some feature.xml tweaks here and there, no other mods
● Adobe Flash Player included
● Multilingual
● SuperSU + SU binary
● Rooted, Deodexed, Zipaligned, Busybox added and init.d supported
● Default wallpaper changed (same for all of them)
● Most of the bloatware removed
● Default kernel AGNi pureSTOCK
● Enabled /data/local folder for custom boot animations
● For users with OLD and NEW bootloader
DISCLAIMER
First of all, I'm not responsible for your phone getting bricked or whatever things could happen
Do a NANDROID BACKUP of your current ROM first!!

Notes:
- All the rom's come with their original modem and csc
- Bloatware apps that come within the csc packages are also removed
- Recommended Recovery is Philz touch, but should install fine with TWRP also
- FULL WIPE including internal storage before installing is recommended
- Latest AGNi kernel can be found HERE
- Latest FW is XXSFQD1

This will end up being a very nice contribution once you get more ROMs here.
Nice work !!
One small suggestion though before you go too much further, why not upload them to XDA? That would be much better off wouldn't it?
Please add rom I9305XXUFOE1

That would be nice indeed, but i always had problems uploading to XDA, it takes too much time and uploads stopped half the way all the time, just to start all over again :silly: the way i do it now is much faster imo, each time i'll prepare 8 to 10 builds and upload them all in once to mega leaving the pc on while im asleep at nights

Hi, welcome to our i9305 forum
Check first if there is a build for your country and operator available in the list above, if yes download it, then flash that, but you need to be rooted and have a custom recovery such as Philz or Twrp installed before you can flash these roms. I dont know if you are rooted or not, but if not, you can follow my guide to root your i9305, you can get to my guide via my signature or search the second page of this forum, everything you will need is there.
These roms in this thead are stock official roms with no mods and extra features etc. there are many other nice custom roms, you might also want to check out. I dont know what kind of rom you are looking for, just stock rom or modded roms? anyway before you can start flashing, just make sure you are rooted and have the latest custom recovery from Philz or Twrp installed.
Other nicely modded Samsung custom roms are for example Amcha rom, TGP rom and then there are my roms the N4 elite lite and S5 elite lite, you just need to do some searching and checking them out, ask anything you want to know in their threads, surely other users will help also
Also some AOSP based roms like CM12.1 - ResurrectionRemix rom - nameless rom etc. etc.
Dont forget to SEARCH, READ, READ MORE, ASK, SEARCH AGAIN, READ, READ AGAIN, READ MORE, DECIDE and FLASH

Yes i have rooted my phone and i have Philz touch recovery.
I also checked almost all the roms, and decided to flash this stock official rom.
now the problem is i bought this phone from one of my friend and it was sent to him from abroad.(he didn't mention from which country).so i am confused about the things like modems, csc, countries and which will be good for my country and phone.
can i use any of them above which is not under a specific operator?
sorry for the "out of the world" questions and thanks for the help...

Ahaa, well, normally your phone should not behave in a weird way even though if you install another modem and csc, cause the phone picks up all the info it needs from your simcard, but its of course always better to have your own firmware installed released for your country with your csc etc. after all it contains some important data from your provider, in any case dont forget to make a nandroid backup of your whole system in your recovery, if something goes wrong, you can always revert back to your current system.
the roms in the OP come all with their own csc, but recently i found a thread with lots of individual flashable csc packages, although they are old, its better to have your own csc then to not have an csc, you can try finding yours here, if you do find one, just flash it after you have installed the rom you choose.
good luck

@MaHo_66
It may be worth putting up a zip of your camera fix too.
For those who like to have some of the bloatware apps that are removed, i will soon add a bloatware installer using Aroma, with description on each app, so you'll know what it is

Thank you for the answer. Those are the few lines available at updating but usually it includes some new functionalities or changes, that's why I was asking for the 'real changes' (maybe not a clear expression).

New bug-fixing Galaxy S10e update now available in more countries. The new update (XXU1ASE6) fixes the freezing issues users had been facing with the first May security update (G970FXXU1ASE5).
I got it on OTA by phone.
You can download the new software through firmware database and flash it on your phone using a Windows PC (https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s10e/SM-G970F/).
You can download the new firmware also with SamFirm.

Currently my S10e is running T-Mobile CZ branded rom with CSC TMZ. I would like to debrand my phone and flash stock global rom. Can I flash global rom with XEZ CSC ? Also I don't want to lose knox.

The new update carries the same changelog as the previous two May security updates.
Samsung released the original May 2019 security patch (software version XXU1ASE5) for the Galaxy S10 towards the end of last month. However, the update was soon taken off the air when it was found to be causing serious issues for some users. The company then released a hotfix update (XXU1ASE6) to take care of those issues.
However, amidst all the hustle and bustle, Samsung seems to have messed up the update’s release. Galaxy S10 owners in some markets did not receive the hotfix update, but only the original bug-filled May security update. Meanwhile, in a few others, the device is still on the April 2019 security patch. The new update, which carries the software version XXU1ASE7, should now settle things down for everyone. After all, it’s an important update, as it significantly improves the Night mode on the Galaxy S10 camera.
Getting the latest update is the same as usual. You should be able to download it over the air from the Settings » Software update menu on your phone.
Alternatively, you can download the firmware from https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s10e/SM-G970F/ and flash it on your phone using Odin.
Or use SamFirm to download firmware on your computer and flash it with Odin.

Been out of the rooting game for years, the complexity involved is doin' me a heckin' bamboozle, fren. I'm in the US and purchased the G970F Exynos so i can root etc. Which country's firmware should i be using?
Anyone for the Snapdragon version?
You guys have a stock android or at&t version for the Snapdragon version? Btw, I have a white s10e in perfect condition for sale on Swappa.com under Kyle R.
I'm not going to root it if I can sell it on swappa. Anyone in the US interested in my swappa offer? Please let me know. And please also answer my question about the firmware.
