Chrome vs Chrome Beta - General Topics

Has anyone else noticed that when using Chrome beta instead of the standard Chrome app, there is no bookmarks widget available?

missing bookmark maybe because it is beta version. stock internet browser is best.

I haven't noticed this, but then again, I use the developer channel of Chrome.

maybe thats because its in beta version, though i dont really like chrome cos its very high ram consuming based on my experience

What is different?

Chrome is not supporting flash player?

What is the big difference between normal Chrome and Chrome Beta?
I'm using Firefox, but I have Chrome installed aswell.

i think that chrome beta is faster then chrome but i'm not expert. it's just my opinion:laugh:

I think the Chrome beta (or Developer version) incorporates Google Now. I haven't seen it yet since I don't use it on my phone. I haven't noticed any other differences between the two, though.

i didn't notice that chrome beta incorporates google now. i'm so stupid :laugh:

KitKat in general doesn't support flash, Chrome is probably also moving in that direction.
TF101 KatKiss. SGS2 Stock.

I've noted the same thing about bookmarks in beta version

Beta does seem to be faster but I prefer the stable version.

I just changed mine using the mobile site. It's highly unlikely that a webpage could do anything serious enough to cause a browser to FC.
When you say it "has been confirmed on other browsers", I'd question your source for that info. Have you tried different browsers yourself?
im getting tired of facebook and their week long updates ugh

Google chrome???

Simple question; why is the chrome browser not available for the P999?

Is it on ICS? Chrome is 4.0+
Sent from my GT-P6210 using xda app-developers app
Just checked online. If you get a 4.0 or higher rom, it'll work like it does on my 4.1 Galaxy Nexus

Chrome will crash on the G2x if you try to select tabs. Unless someone knows some work around? I want to use this browser, but it's useless if I can't switch between tabs.

I like Firefox Mobile personally, especially installing Adblock on top of it
I am a fan of dolphin browser mini. though it is not in the market anymore, you can find the .apk file online and just download it and install it from there.
ICS browser works for me...
Either Opera or Chrome for me. Since I use Opera the most I know one of the feature I use a lot that it has is 'find on page'
Firefox nightly with adblock and Sync

Personally I use maxthon for searching and ics+ for downloading

I'm using chrome only because it syncs so nicely with my desktop where I also use chrome. I actually like dolphin better but for some reason I can't get it to sync my bookmarks even though I have them linked to my Google account.

Opera for me its my choise
Dolphin HD for me

Mercury browser

Mercury browser for android has been released. It is quite popular on IOS Platform
It has private browsing, reader mode and many other useful features. However, speedwise it is only marginally faster than stock.
Try it from Playstore.

For me its pretty fast, i guess as fast as chrome on my N4 and N7 2013 LTE. Adblock feature is really cool
I'll try this in nearly future . Dolphin is going in the wrong way...
This seem quite alright, will use for a bit.
Why make it look iOS on android though?

But:
Don't save the passwords. Disquis login don't work in websites. In privacy mode when go back in normal mode, Mercury lost normals cookies, preferences are ok.
