This is a guide to help you root and install cwm recovery on Micromax bolt a35.
This is a tested method and is working fine.
NOTE: FOLLOW ALL THE STEPS CAREFULLY OR YOU WILL END UP BRICKING YOUR PHONE.
NOTE: ROOTING YOUR PHOINE VOIDS IT'S WARRANTY
TO ROOT YOUR PHONE:-
1.Download Moborobo from here and install drivers for your phone(ENABLE USB DEBUGGING BY GOING IN SETTINGS -> APPLICATION -> DEVELOPMENT -> ENABLE USB DEBUGGING)
2.Downlaod kingo root app from here
3.Now open kingo root app and root your phone by clicking root again button.(USB DEBUGGING SHOULD BE TURNED ON)
4.VOILA.. YOUR PHONE IS ROOTED...
Now, how to install CWM Recovery on your phone.
1.First downlaod cwm recovery from here
2.Download adb drivers from here.
3.install adb drivers and connect your phone, then right click on computer properties and click on device manager then look for e56 with ! sign right click it and click on update drivers then locate the adb drivers you downloaded and install them.
4.now copy the recovery.img file to adb driver folder
5..Now turn off your phone and press volume down key + power button.
6.open command prompt in where you installed the adb drivers by holding shift button and right clicking on command prompt
7.then write this command :-
fastboot devices

and if it shows your device id , you are good to go.
8.now write this command:-
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img.img

9.recovery will be flashed.
10.download quick boot app form google play and click on recovery and you will have cwm recovery.:good:

it wont work on your canvas hd it will infact brick your canvas hd

hi bro help cant root when trying with SRS root asks to select FRODO or ARAGORN or LEGOLAS on my phone but can't find when checking in frama root gives me the vulnerability error shows device seems not vulnerable to exploit in framaroot also tried with kingo root and unlockroot but no help pls help I just want to root it

Guys kingo root doesn't work just uses srsroot and you can root easily.
it uses many different exploits till root is achieved.

I have tried every USB driver available on the internet, but can't find the e56 driver and therefore no root for my Bolt A35.
Can you please share your version of Moborobo, does it support the A35 out of the box?
Can you just host the pre-requisite files somewhere?

After Searching Various forums i found that only method for rooting this tablet was to flash a custom rooted rom but i did not want that after a lil more searches i was able to find a one click root for this tablet
This method may work for other rk3066 tablets as well try at your own risk
How To Root Lava Xtron+ (rk3066)
Enable USB Debugging from developer options ,to do this go to “Settings” -> “Developer Options” -> “Debugging” ->” USB debugging”
and tick the mark in front of it
Download Kingoapp and install it on your pc
Connect your tabled and open kingoapp then let it detect your device once done then Click on the orange root button and wait for process to finish .Also keep an eye on the tablet screen for any su permission prompts .The Tablet will soon reboot several times and then you will see root successfull message on kingoapp.check for su app in your app drawer if present you are rooted now :victory:

After a long day of searching on how to root this device FINALLY!!! I got it.
NOTE: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO YOUR PHONE
I root this device with iRoot
STEP 1- Download iroot
just check google for that
Step 2- Connect your device to your PC make sure that USB debugging is enable
Step 3- Wait for the iRoot to recognize your device and then when you see on your PC that your device is connected Click "root now"
Step 4- Now when your device is rooted you will see an icon that is like a horse and it said its a superuser (its different from the typical superuser or superSU that rooted device has) then go to the play store and install root checker to check if your device is rooted already.
if you want to have a typical superSU icon you can just download it on the play store just type "superSU" by chainFire

"Kingo Root"

Required:-
1.PC
2.Internet Connection.
3.USB cable
4.Canvas XL2
Instructions:-
1.Download the Kingo Root app from
http://www.kingoapp.com/android-root/download.html
2.Open it.
3.Connect your phone n wait for Drivers they are being downloaded.When download is completed and devices is shown.Go to next step.
4.Now go in Developer Options and Select USB Debugging.{if their is no dev options in settings.Then go in about phone tap randomly on Build Number.Then you will get Dev mode in Settings menu.}
5.Pay attention to your device screen for a prompt window. Tick "Always allow from this computer". If you don't, you will probably get yourself an OFFLINE DEVICE. {If the window is canceled or dismissed then reconnect you phone.}
6.Click "ROOT" button.
7.It will take one or two minutes.:angel:
8.Root succeeded, click "Finish" to reboot your device.:good:
it can work on any mt6589.

but in vein for Rooting my Micromax P650 tab
finally I download Kingo ROOT windows software ver 1.3.1
and root my tab successfully
DOWNLOAD
Process (after download and installation successfully on you PC/Laptop I tested in Windows 7 Ultimate)
1. Connect You tab with USB cable and check Developer Option=>USB Debugging in Connected by Right on check box
2. Run Kingo ROOT (it will automatically detect the status of your device.
3. Press Button Root (it will take 2 to 5 minutes............. display messages
4. finally it will display a message like included image here
Your device is ROoted
Use this at Your own RISK. I M not RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING whatever may happen with your Tab.

Instead of all this lengthy procedure, use FramaRoot APK which works well with P650.

Install it, select any exploit, reboot, SuperSU installed by default! Enjoy!
Uninstall FramaRoot after rooting, unroot can also be done with FramaRoot!
