Hi new to all of this in nut shell bought a brand new andriod tablet model softwiner evb currently using andriod 4.1.1 tablet is working fine except wifi when you turn on just says turning on wifi does nothing else ? all other functions work as it should been told its a software issue and needs to be re flashed to andriod 4.0.4 but cannot find it anywhere to download any help would be most helpfull

I rooted mine but when I tried to backup the rom so I can flash a new one

i'm on linux mint and my phone in on froyo.
I obviously tried to boot with the latest version of superoneclick. it opens properly etc BUT it keeps saying "waiting for device"

I could install ADB and root it after a lot of mining for rooters.
I wondered if anyone else had this buddy.I got this while transiting from Hong Kong.
I installed a s/w based soft key and am still getting my hands around it.
If anyone else owned this and has a custom ROM in mind let me know. One thing - the ROM needs to be thinned out of all the Chinese social programs that are installed.

yesterday i bought an TyN Calipso 4, duo simcard, 8mb pixels, 4gb internal mem, 1ghz core, Android 4, from spctelecom have been searching and searching and triyng to get root access but with no luck have tried z4root, unlock pro and for my disapointment nobody made a ROM for it, even on google cant find nothing posted about how to root it, the only adb drivers that work are from sdk extras but can access nothing even data is blocked.
Anyone have can help!!!
finaly i found a way to root it, if anyone has a phone like mine just use google sdk adb driver and this easy install script i found online it will update your 4.0.4 ICS and it works also for 4.1 ICS for this phone i choose normal mode it has restore mode also

If your phone is under warranty, remember to find a way to bring it back to the original state if you have to send it in for repair.
Your warranty will be void because the phone has been modified.

I bought the calipso 4 from spc telecom in Portugal.
I found the box of my calypso and there was a sticker with this: "Wiko Limeted Edition for spc telecom".
I contact wiko international and they said that should contact wiko in portugal... strange.
Wiko in Portugal reply me saying that mobile is a version of the Fever produced for Italian provider! This is impossible, because Fever is from 2016...

I've been searching two months looking for firmware for my device and haven't found anything that works like the original firmware did.
My tablet is a Trio Stealth G4 10.1 8gb (MST-1041). It got messed up after I tried installing cwm which froze and when my tablet rebooted it just said installation error over and over again.
Things that I could find out about this tablet ...
Allwinner A31Series with AP6210, was running 4.4.2 (KOT49H), exdroid 4.4.2_r2-a31-v4.6
This is where it gets hard. The board says INET-Q101-REV02 Zeng-gc 2014-03-08, and on the underside iQ101-BT CT 8010/2.
Does anyone know of a firmware for this device or is compatible with this device? Some other questions, what's the difference between Q101 and Q102?
