It's not a full rom but take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47289177, it's the sms/mms app themed.
For a rom, take a look in the dev sections, maybe there is one or two, don't remember exactly.
But the most important is to know what you are looking for...

Settings> applications> dialer> clear defaults...or something like that. I use dialer one as my default no problems...

Here is the contacts.apk that would be helpful if ported. All credit goes to InsaneNemesis at the Droid Forums who I pulled this from his Droid rom. If this could be ported I would be forever in your debt.

They won't work. Like HTC Sense apps, they require specific bits from the touchwiz framework to work.
