P920 it's gone... - LG Optimus 3D

Hi Everybody,
Some months ago I've posted a topic about this. Some of you tried to help me but was impossible for me to recover my phone.
When I've put the V21e, I've lost my imei. I've tried the tutty tool, but I couldn't get my imei. Then I put the ICS version, but the phone is being restarted again and again...
So, I would like to know which rom could I use to get my imei and my phone. If it's possible a rom which has bin and fls files
Here the version that I have on the phone right now:
soft version - LGSU760-V30b-OCT-18-2012
Kernel- 3.0.21
baseband-XMM6260
android version - 4.0.4
I've sent my phone to 3 different companies. They tried to recover the phone but nobody could. I think that maybe could be a possibility with the new versions like kitkat or trying with another new one...
Let me know your comments, and THANKS in advance!
I don't give up :fingers-crossed:

I read somewhere that if you flash kdz imei will be recovered.

Yes kdz will restore your imei you just have to go to the "how to flash kdz and root it" in the o3d forum and fowl low the guide and it will 100% work trust me I've had this problem before

Did u try emergencyreset?
regards,
The LG mobile support tool has an IMEI reset function. flash an LG-ish v21a rom. (thiaiz 2.7 for example) and connect it to the pc. make sure your lg mobile support tool is updated to the last version. open up lg mobile support tool. make sure you have a working internet connection for this. take your box from you lg and look at the IMEI and s/n. in mobile support tool. go to customer support and then recovery phone. enter your IMEI and S/N there. Dont touch the model function this is not needed! Now click on check. one of the two doesnt matter. and the phone should start recovering. after that. everything must be fine again. and you can root it again with megatron

Click the thanks if it helped
So this will definatly fix my network problem???, cause i don't want to go to the trouble of rooting it, flashing thiaiz then doing this, cause if it doesnt work then i have to flash stock again and send it to lg

LG P999 doesnt accept rom, kernel, root always goes to cwm.

hi guys i was using my phone with cm7 rom and cm7 050 stable kernel i just wanted to change my kernel. I tried to install harsh kernel from the CWM ( i got cwm by rom manager) and i installled harsh kernel but it said SD CARD DAMAGED so i couldnt use camera etc. I got cwm by same method after that i installed my old cm7 050 stable kernel. But phone has not been starting since i installed my old cm7 050stable it always goes to cwm. I tried a lot of combinations (kernel+rom, rom+kernel, just rom, just kernel.) I started to use NVFlash since my phone always gets cwm. After all i did stock recovery.(NO ROOT after that step BECAUSE I DID STOCK RECOVERY) My phone was not going to cwm anymore it was going to somewhere i think back up screen and stock there. i again installed stock rom and kernel. My phone goes to cwm always.
what do i need to do.
thank you..:crying:

Don't use ROM Manager to flash CWM. Use NVflash, then try to flash everything. That should do the trick

ok. i will let you know what happens.
After that if u need cwm just install rom manager from the market and flash cwm recovery from it.
I could tell u a more direct approach to all that but I m telling u the linear way so whenever u mess up the device and want quick solution u know u can flash this gb v21e rom.
After u r in control of rooting , cwm flashing, n nvflashing ... just search for anything u want in this g2x forum and play with it... as long as u r not frying the device using extreme overclocking ..( which I can tell u this device is capable of sustaining but NOT RECOMMENDED) u r safe

Your first line was terrible advice just saying^.^
To the OP, never use ROM Manager to flash CWM because your probably gonna end up with the same situation again where something goes wrong, always use Nvflash to flash CWM, its always much much safer and its recommended by pretty everyone in these forums, so if you wana go around hacking and stuff on your phone never use ROM Manager
Hope this helped

Lol actually u forgot the fact the Guy did use nvflash earlier and messed up the device .... its all about how u want the people to learn. As I mentioned ealier its not a direct method but Cwm through rom manager always works if u r reading it right. I.e when u don't have cwm flashed before and choosing the right model.... I didn't wanted him to accidently flash a imcompatible cwm or stock one as he did ealier only to get Bck where he started .... dun think everyone is a pro .... the guy needs learning space .... let him play with what he has. He will get into groove by himself .

NEVEEEERRRRR use ROM Manager to install ClockWordMod EVER.
The only thing rom manager is good for on the p999 is downloads roms. Don't use it for cwm please it doesn't work u need a computer and nvflash only way it works. If you are using rom manager it will eventually brick

Like most people said. Use NVFLASH to backup and to load/flash ROMs ONLY.
BTW I recommend you to use the Hellfire Phoenix ROM. It is based on the CM7.2 and it works without changing our Windmobile baseband.

No sim network

Could do with some help after doing restore via LG mobile support tool.
UK p920 that was bought second hand and unlocked to all networks I am using a T-mobile[ UK] sim card
I updated from froyo to 2.3.5 gingerbread 2 weeks ago using LG mobile support tool. The sim card was in at the time.
update successful and then rooted phone all ok. Tried doing backup of current rom with rom manager and failed. also tried orange, and rom manager, none would backup anything. tried flashing rom and bricked phone!could not even get into a boot recovery. Last resort I used LG mobile support tool to download and auto re-install 2.3.5 (without sim card in) didnt think this would affect anything. Phone booted up and all is ok, did a titanium restore of apps and settings all ok, but cannot get the phone to connect to sim network-tmobile.
Current config; model number LG-P920
android version 2.3.5
baseboard version L6260_modem_sic_01.1042.00
kernel version 2.635.7+
build number GRJ90
software version LGP920-V21e-APR 19 2012
Has the recovery loaded the correct version for my phone?
I am a noob so please reply using basic language and instructions, thanks for reading.

Have you changed baseband ? Normally it is a baseband problem.
The rom must suit with the right baseband.
And watch if you have imei.
EDIT: are you on stock 2.3.5?

[Q] Rooting Infuse from Gingerbread?

Hi all
I'm new to this stuff and want to upgrade my Infuse from Gingerbread (which I installed via Kies when the update was finally made available) to Jellybean. However, from what I've gathered, I can't use the Super One Click program to root my phone with 2.3.6, and since I'm new to this, I don't want to brick the phone. What would you suggest I use to first root the phone? I have found plenty of stuff here, but I am unclear whether I can use the stuff posted since I've already upgraded to Gingerbread (vs. the 2.2 stock). After that, am I correct in understanding that I then just back up my info via something like Titanium Backup and then pick a custom ROM I like and flash it? Thanks, and sorry in advance for what I am sure are really stupid questions.

thanks! so just to confirm (sorry, i am still unclear about all this stuff): i download odin and whatever option (you suggest c), along w/ the kies drivers. i install the kies drivers on the phone, then reboot in download mode and run odin. and this will take my version of gingerbread and make it rooted? does it wipe the data off my phone? if so...is there any step along the process in which i can back things up? if it doesn't wipe the phone, after its rooted, i can use one of the programs (like titanium backup) to back up my data, and then install whatever ROM i want, right?
thanks again for the help!
