[Q] No boot after bad manipulation - Micromax A110

Hi guys.
I was trying to upgrade a clone of an A110 and put rayne rom in it, so i wiped the system partition and tried to install the rom. Apparently the rom was corrupt and CWM didnt install it. So I rebooted the phone and it froze in the logo screen. it wont start since then, always freezing in the logo screen. I tried putting back a stock rom with sp tool, but the soft dont recognize the phone and keep on searching.
what should I do?

Install proper drivers for ur phone...then try ur luck with sp flash toolS. B/w haven't u backed up the things before trying?

nope, didnt backed it up :/
I tried several rom, always lands in an irresolvable bootloop, or a direct boot to recovery. sp flash didnt work, it dont recognize the phone ( right drivers are installed), kinda blocked right now

I figured it out, a driver's issue. Found the right one, sp tools worked, working like a charm again :good:

very hard brick. when the "resurrection guide" does not work anymore. what do you do?
the "resurrection guide" has always worked for me. :good:
but this time I can not flash the bootloader. it tells me error:
"USB_READ GOOT: 0, EXPECTED: 4, ERRNO: 121" that is repeated endlessly. see video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ke19sY0nQ2c. :crying:
display always off; no logo LG; no vibration. cable is ok (work on another phone p920). PC is ok. battery is ok.
there are alternatives to resurrect my p920?
pls use the lasted version of omap boot and try a other usb port
What happened to cause the brick?

Then it's probably an incomplete flash from incorrect driver install or possibly a corrupt .bin. Try this, take your time and read carefully and thoroughly.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39269819
If you are on Windows 8, check the tips for that especially. The tutorial is for XBSA roms but the part for Flash Tool is the same.
If it won't work, then you might need to look at xbsall's resurrection guide.
Flashing the bootloaders in fastboot won't do the trick, as you have corrupted system, etc. from incomplete flash

surely I have a corrupt boot. fastboot not work. this time resurrection guide not work for me.
now I read the link
okay. the guide is done well and is suitable for beginners. I'm not a beginner. now I know a lot of things.
I have resurrected many times my p920.
Now I can not anymore.
I boot corrupt. I'm looking for an alternative solution, but have not been able to find it.
I know you can do it via USB (no JTAG). look octoplus http://octoplusbox.com/eng/news/details/301
the problem is: how to do without the box otoplus?
sorry for me english. i'm italian
Same problem here mate... My phone is just booting for a second with LG Logo and stops. I'm waiting for an answer too. ^_^

non è lo stesso problema. il mio non si avvia. schermo è nero
It doesn't matter if you are a beginner. The driver install steps are the same. Once that is done correctly you can use fastboot or flash tool or whatever you want. I am simply suggesting what has worked for me. One way to get out of bootloop is to reflash. Another is to flash the correct bootloader.
Either way, if omap is blinking then the drivers are not installed correctly.
You may also need the LG drivers. That is why I say to start at the beginning.
you can sive it ifyou can enter download mod use lg support tool
and flashe it with mergency mod that method sive my p920 in this last weck end

My pc motherboard fried few days ago and[for things to be even worse] my android system was getting very unstable so I wanted to replace it and I did it in the same time as my mobo got fried..
Noooo....
So when I erased system in my twrp, the twrp became unresponsive and laggy, I couldnt do anything with it.
So now I said:"No prob I'll just reflash twrp and bootloaders with OS_Hackings tool..."
It wouldn't be the problem on my old WIN7 PC but now I didn't have it anymore so I had to use my old XP rig.Now we come to the problem, I get the exact same usb error(mine was 31 not 121 but the problems are related to drivers probably). So I installed OMAP4430 like always and when I start OS_Hackings tool it doesn't recognize the phone after "waiting 5sec"..I must say that I've done this many many many times before(on WIN7) but i couldn't get it to work on WIN XP no mater what I did.
In the end I updated to official v30A via offline kdz updater and flashed twrp and ics bootloaders with Xbsalls "rebooter".
Making rebooter work was pure luck because of that not-getting-into-fastboot problem but after 20tries it worked somehow..
Drivers are my bet and I really hate XP.XD
And yes, I used the same cable and battery on win7 and xp...
Edit:I forgot to say that when it says "waiting for 5sec" and I insert the battery, instead of phone getting into fastboot(grey logo and fastboot v.05 on displey) it just illuminates the four soft keys on the phone and gives me an error "USB_READ GOOT: 0, EXPECTED: 4, ERRNO: 31" on the PC.
If anyone knows what is the cause(and/or the solution) for this please tell us, I'll be very grateful.

If you wiped system in twrp and did not install a system or a rom with a system at that time, the phone can't boot because there is no system. You'd need to flash a .bin or .kdz.
Not sure if that's what you meant.
Just try after clearing or Resetting COM port. :good:
It may work sometimes...
Try this, i have also experience that on my phone, I thought that it's dead but good thing I unbrick it.
try to re-install all drivers and hardware in device manager. i.e. uninstall - reboot - reinstall
make sure your usb cable is good, the usb port of phone is good, the usb port of computer is good.
if you can't go to download mode, try the WKPARTS omap4boot and the tutorial made by xbsall. (credits to them)
It's not a very hard brick, its 1.25 fastboot that do this sometimes.
I have had this too, just use the earlier 1.16 or 1.11 bootloaders, it should work.

[Q] please soo stuck

ive rooted an flashed my lg optimus 3d there only one rom that works as all the other roms just keep restarting the phone. i think because i didnt update to ics or something to do with baseband im not sure,i was on gb and still am, iv tried various methods of trying to restore my phone to stock so i can start again but i crnt update the omap drivers as device manager is flashing on and off and when i get chance its says parameter is incorrect, anyhelp to restore or get my phone to ics would be much appreciated please please
For custom ICS ROMs, yes, you have to first install 'regular' ICS. For that as well as driver install:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2195753
Then you can install any custom ROM based on ICS.
You should be logged onto pc as administrator...
hey thanks for the reply i have done all that but the omap driver just wouldnt intall or connect, iive tried a few methods but they dont seem to be working dont know if its through sheer tiredness or now impaitience to get it done but ive now complety baffled myself as im stuck with android guy with a red triangle on boot screen no recovery or anything, not sure where to go from here even to get it back to stock
As described there when it is blinking in device manager you will need to quickly right click on it when it appears then force install it.

How to unbrick a hardbricked gts7582 (boot dead)

I need some help with fixing a dead boot gts7582. Its was first flashed by a rom not meant for it and now its totally screwed up.

I googled it up found out i had a corrupted preloader and hence its doesnt get detected by my pc {i have installed the drivers and tried sp flash tools and failed). Could anyone please help me with this, I'm all ears to anything. thanks

Sp flash tool problem

Yesterday I wanted to recover android 7.1 so I used Sp flashtool. It made my phone only vibrating so unluckily I thought that formatting whole flash would be a good idea, it made it even worse, the phone isn't even vibrating. Winows device manager shows something like Mediatek Usb Port. Sp flashtool shows an error S_AUTH_HANDLE_IS_NOT_READY (5000). Is there any hope to fix it myself?

Ouch! That doesn't sound good. You should have tried flashing ost first. Anyway try that, maybe it can help
When I tried to use ost there was a problem with some kind of .dll file when I plugged in my phone
