[Q] Can anyone please identify this keyboard - Verizon Droid Charge

Hey,
I just upgraded my phone, and now got some weird keyboard, but I really LOVED the keyboard in the picture.
Any chance anyone can identify it? It is not: ICS stock
Thanks in advance

I think it is the stock gingerbread keyboard

Keyboard?

Hi this is my first time using ICS and I am finding it hard to get used to the keyboard.
I was wondering what keyboard everyone uses/recommends on their One S
Thanks

I use stock. I'm coming from the Glacier so its been difficult getting used to the larger screen. But the swipe function in stock helps a great deal.

Hey,
I'm using now SwiftKey 3 ... before it was released I'd prefered Smart Keyboard Pro ... because I cannont handle Keyboards without a little bit of space between the buttons.

mmry
Thanks I will have a look and try those, I dont see the point of some of the keys like the arrows at the bottom it just seems too crowded for me
It's a toss up between the new swift keyboard and slideit for me... Also Used A. I. Keyboard with no problems, but for sure tons of options
STOCK AOSP ICS keyboard is the best! Get it in the market if you are using sense rom.

[Q] Virtual keyboard issue with Chrome for ICS

Hi,
I have installed chrome on my htc desire z with an ICS rom based on CM9 (mimicry 1.1.2).
When I tap on any check box, e.g. the search box on google.com, the virtual keyboard doesn't show up.
This issue doesn't affect the omnibar.
Are there other people who happen the same issue?
I have the same issue on my Epic 4G running CM9. Anyone have a solution? I'm using SwiftKey 3.
No solution or workaround for this?

[Q] Keyboard Lag on JellyBean

Hey everyone,
I noticed right off the bat when i upgraded to JellyBean, that there is SIGNIFICANT keyboard lad input when typing in text messages and really everything. this was almost non existent in ICS, at least for me. Now lag I mean at times, I'll type out a message and its a full second delay and ill watch the phone catch up and type all my letters. This occured on the OTA, figured it was crappy stock firmware, So I rooted and ROM'd over to CLEANROM and still hasn't changed. Does anybody else see this!? Its driving me bananas, especially for a galaxy that's the most powerful yet. Any suggestions and or input on this would be greatly appreciated.
Why not use a different keyboard? I have zero lag on swype beta.

When I rooted and rommed my wife's Rezound she also got a lot of lag when typing on her cleanrom. So I paid for SwiftKey and never looked back. SwiftKey is awesome and it elimated the keyboard lag and the word prediction is way better than stock. I would give the free trial a shot and see how it goes.

I downloaded the go keyboard and I love it. No lag whatsoever.
I also downloaded swift free trial. I like that too.

Yeah, it appears to be the stock keyboard on Jellybean. I installed the free trial of SwiftKey and theres ZERO lag. Much appreciated everyone. Will report back if anything changes!

I've been using it for months..its awesome. Check out swiftkey flow too. Its free right now and I love it. You might not if you dont like swyping.
I hate the stock TW keyboard, I just recently installed the 4.2 keyboard as a system app and I'm back to being able to type normally.

[Q] Recommended ROM for 4.1.2 with decent keyboard

Could anyone recommend a decent custom ROM which is running 4.1.2 as I've updated to 4.2.2 but generally unhappy with the lag.
The keyboard is better (more responsive) on 4.2.2 but unfortunately thats about all I can say good about it.
I prefer the Menu and Settings bar layout on 4.1.2 too but apart from that it wouldn't bother me if everything else was stock, so was hoping someone could recommend one that is solid and stable.
Cheers!

The original keyboard is the best! No need to change

Whatever keyboard I use on 4.1 lagged, whichever one I use on 4.2 doesn't.
I appreciate the reply but it doesn't really help with the original question.
