I am looking to flash latest CM10 on my friends Sony Xperia Tipo ST21i,
I am having some experience flashing Rods and kernel on My Xperia neo V ,but its first time I am trying on Sony 2012 device..
can any one provide link of Latest CM10 for Tipo , I have looked as fxp sites but could not find tapioca version,
I have find one tapioca - ss one, does this will work on Xperia Tipo ST21i Single SIM???
Or can anyone provide any other link..!!!???
You have a single sim (ss) Tipo. You found a SS tipo CM10.

that ss stans for Single sim???!!!
I was thinking it is other variant like I and a etc.

No not really. All others are just modded stock roms.

i will recommend using "UNLOCK ROOT PRO" app to root phone...
it's the easiest way to root.....

if you read his message again you'll see that he's using Xperia J. BTW this won't work on ICS for sure. You'll have to have JB installed

I believe Nsdcards is building for us! But perhaps he'll just wait for a bug free Tipo ROM, and then port it. Dunno.

Hi, could you also include support for the dual sim variant of Xperia Tipo???
The highest version that Tipo Dual had ever seen was Ice Cream Sandwich.

One Question : Xperia J got a illumination bar,will it work in this rom?
Since Year(s) ago Xperia J got a CM10 rom and
the illumination bar gone crazy while a notification came (imagine disco light)
Hope not to happen on this rom.(is it a CM?)

Why dont you try to fix bugs in other CM?(Not that I would use CM10.2 if there arent too much bugs but even CM10 that is sayd to be almost bug free dosn't have things like video recording.)

I understand what problems you're facing. The first and the most important one is that you clearly don't know where to post questions like these! This should be put up in general section with a new thread as a question. Secondly, I don't think you need to unroot it prior to the update. And finally, if you have already unrooted it and installed the update, find out a way to root that firmware. Towelroot works like a charm for xperia devices but i've not tested it on E. Kudos!

I'll build CM9 too. Just help me find out how .elfs can be repacked into .imgs.
That's all I'm waiting for. If I get it, I'll be able to start generating the skeleton files needed to proceed.
I think Xperia J needs CM 10.2 too. Please port this ROM on Xperia J too!
