Maybe not flashable, it won't install for me. Probably because I'm using CWM 6.0.4.4

asusmod.zip is flashable, I am currently porting the stock apps from the tf701, got all working except browser, email, calendar, contacts, and super note

It is not flashable. I went back to CM 10.2 and TWRP 2.5.0.0 and all I get when I try to install the zip is an error.

here is the correct download link: https://www.wuala.com/Kingzak34/AsusMods/?key=TNofh0NlS7lz if you dowload from here it will flash.

This one at least installs, but there is no menu to pick and choose what gets installed. I think I got the ASUS Launcher, which I didn't particularly want, and I did get the ASUS Day Scene Live Wallpaper, which I did want. Unfortunately when I try to select it I get "ASUS Day Scene Live Wallpaper has stopped" errors.
Any ideas?

just go into settings and set what ever launcher that you were using as defualt. you can go to system/media and delete any apk that you don't want.

Any idea why the Live Wallpaper won't work?

the version of day scene in the zip does not work on android 4.3 or later, there is a version from the tf701 that does, that I am trying to get to install right now to get it to install as part of my tf701 apps package for the tf700.

It's odd that day scene doesn't work but mywater and mywater2 do work.
Let me know if you need someone to test the zip, I'll be happy to help out with it.

Yes my Asus apps from TF701 package is now complete, in my package which is an AROMA installer there is a app that I made to select the stock asus wallpapers from the 700 and 701! It should be added to the CROMbi-kk page soon. It will work only with CROMBikk and CM11.

[THEME][ICS] Wolfie Theme V2.0 CWM and Rogue Recovery Flashable

Wolfie Theme V2.0
This is a blue, teal, and silver theme for the TF101. All I did is compile this theme, it is the work of many others. To install, flash the zip file in recovery. This currently works in Rogue and CWM Recovery. I will not be responsible if this causes any damage to your tablet! It should work just fine, I've tested it many times before. In the next version I plan on adding battery percentage. Enjoy!!

So far I've only tried it on Asus ROM's. As long as you have rogue it should work. Just give it a try, it won't damage anything.

True the only thing there would be problems with is Asus Quick Settings. But the files aren't there so it shouldn't do anything. Thanks for looking at the file!

Ok I changed the zip file so it hopefully works in CWM and Rogue. So far it works in Rogue. Could someone please test it in CWM. I'd really appreciate it.
Edit: It does work in CWM, I just tested it!
V2.0 should be up today! It will have the blue-silver lining around all dialog boxes. I hope to have battery percentage in V3.0.

Updated and the update went fine and able to restore root via Rootkeeper.
Some changes:
System update check menu changed.
Polaris office updated to version 3.5
Camera: Green block image while capture bug seems to have been fixed (still testing)
No change:
I/O still terribly slow
Not much difference in the performance of the tablet before update for me.
Will be updating any changes I find out while testing
If anyone would be so kind as to upload the .blob file as im unlocked and no longer receive updates that would be sweet. Although im sure they will post the update eventually on ASUS Support
Just found that they now place the version numbers of the wifi, gps, and bluetooth. I can't find anymore changes
Well...crap. Havent received my tablet yet but when I do I was going to update it and then root. I would imagine this is going to break our ability to actually root with the methods we currently have?
well before you update, better make a backup first while on ics with nvflash I believe and you can do whatever you want with it after
Guess I'll start watching the website for the big zip

It would be beneficial for all to consolidate discussions on this update to one thread. As General is probably a more appropriate section, how about keeping any future posts on this topic in this thread?

The random reboots problem still happening :-\
Enviado desde mi GT-I9100 usando Tapatalk 2
The only interesting thing happening to me is every time I boot, it indicates with a little window that it's loading apps, as if it's optimizing when you load an update ROM for the first time, then goes into the system normally. It's just an annoying 15 second delay. Other than that, not noticing too much different yet.

You may have to try a few more times of rebooting/running that command. If the rom has an option to disable boot animations similar to what roms based on AOKP have (its called "Rom Control") then you could try disabling through that then reboot/run the command.
Edit: You may be able to manually disable the boot animation by adding ".bak" without quotes to the end of the boot ani's file name.
Couldn't find an option for it, I'll just back up and flash a stock based ROM to run it
Cool, let me know what happens.

Internal storage gone

I flash data2sd a while back and recently I started to run out of storage and it was getting really laggy so I tried to wipe everything then reinstall the ROM. I also want to free up my internal storage so I did the wipe data option in twrp. Now after I reinstalled the ROM my internal storage is gone. Any help would be appreciated

Your internal storage does not (and never has) display on there with data2sd. To locate it get a file manager and locate /sdcardi this is your internal storage now.

Are you still trying to implement Data2SD?
I would suggest you give up on it. It creates more problems than it solves.... and doesn't really get you much if any improvement on performance in CROMI-X.
Reflash the rom with _that or stock kernel, reformat your microSD and live happily ever after
