[Q] Restore IMEI on my Xoom? - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So my Stingray Xoom shows no IMEI number ( all zeros ). I've been reading around the forums trying to find a way to recover the number and get my data / LTE working again, but I was hoping someone could help me out with some Xoom specific information.
This happened when I switch the Xoom to BigPart and loaded up the new ROM. I'm a bit of a noob here (clearly), so any help you can throw my way would be much appreciated. In the mean time I'll keep searching.

[Q] Is there any way to flash my Canadian Xoom to US WiFi only?

I have a Canadian WiFi Xoom and after looking at the features that we are lacking, I'm ready to flash my xoom to US WiFi version. Is there any way I can do it? If so, do I have to unlock my xoom? Links please. Thanks!
Just find the stock US images and flash them; the link is at the sticky at the top of this forum.
You will probably lose data though; I have yet to successfully get my Xoom to boot a US image without looping on and on forever... and keep all of my data.
Vimmy, just what i was thinking.... any insight, or someone who has done it, Please chime in!
I got tired of waiting for Motorola Canada to wake up, so I did it last night. It involves erasing everything on your tablet, so make sure you backup anything you want to keep - this is required as the userdata partition is different between the US and Canada models.
What are the instructions for doing this? I'm curious cause I want my 3.1.
I know it involves fastbooting a bunch of stuff, but can I get a precise set of instructions for doing this? Thank you kindly in advance.
I have the same question... what process have you all used to upgrade the canadian wifi xoom to a us rom? Could you please give details? Thanks!

[Q] Samsung windows upgrade tool&fl24

Hi looking to see if anyone might be able to answer a couple questions I have . But, first if these questions have already been addressed somewhere forgive me. I tried to find some info on it and to be blunt. The info I did find confused me. Here is what I am trying to figure out. I have the sph d710 BST. Just to let you know where this is going.....What I did was I flashed my phone with the complete wipe JB upgrade file from rwilco12. .Everything was working fine . Voice, SMS....Except for data. I could see the bars on phone and it showed a 3g connection. But no matter what I tried including calling Boost Tech. I could not get any data. They wanted me to factory reset. Nope....I know better. So, anyway now I see where the official upgrade is available from Samsung. But one of the prerequisite is to be on Fl 24?? .. When I was on ICS. I was on the Boost FI22. So my question is ...Isn't Fl24 a sprint kernel? I did find one that said it was ported to boost. What should I do? Go back to stock and flash this kernel? Also if anyone has had any experience using the Samsung windows upgrade tool for JB.. would you share what you did and how it worked? Thanks and sorry for the long story.

[Q] Bricked I747m

Hi, I have a sgh-i747m on rogers in Canada. I was running Cyanogenmod 11 4.4.2 and was pretty happy. Like a dummy I tried adding FlashingDroid 2.2 located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/rom-flashingdroid-v2-2-gs5-bug-fix-t2767784
After the zip was installed and the phone rebooted it appears it was bricked. Phone will not power/boot, doesn't show up in Odin, cannot see the phone within Windows. I've read that I can use a debrick image file which would correspond to my phone and write that img to a microSD and get the phone booted without requiring JTAG service. I know I am a complete schmuck for doing this and I apologize in advance for wasting anybody's time. If somebody could point me in the right direction for a possible working debrick image for my particular phone setup, I would greatly appreciate it. I've pretty much accepted the fact that this phone is history. Thanks in advance for any help !

[Completed] [Q] HTC One m7 - Unrooting issues

Hi everyone!
Terribly sorry this is my first post here and im looking for something, been reading through the site for the past few months but never registered.
I recently bought a HTC One M7, updated to 4.4.2 but rooted so i cannot get OEM updates.
It has ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.4.8 istalled, busybox and SuperSu.
Im trying to unroot it and get it back to factory standard, its not for the warranty that really doesnt matter to me.
I just need some expert guidance if possible and just to be pointed in the right direction would be more then enough as there is so much information to try and retain lol.
I have been browsing through threads but im terrified i end up doing something wrong and bricking my phone.
Im living in Ireland and my phone was supplied by an operator called 'Meteor' so im a bit confused as to what method to take and where to get the exact oem stock software that will enable me to get back and let me update past 4.4.2
If anyone could link me a few threads or help in any way that would point me in the guaranteed right direction would be great, and also any information where i could get the exact file file i need to flash to get it back to stock, i understand the radio etc needs to correspond with my network operator.
Many thanks in advance for this one
