So I was rooted on my Verizon SCH i535 and messed with a bunch of stuff. Disabling stuff cause I thought I knew what I was doing. Things were going south fast. Decided to do a factory reset. Now it won't load past the Verizon loading screen. I took the it a 4.3 if that makes any difference. What do I do?
I've read somewhere that there is an ODIN 4.3 file that you can flash. Find the post on the ODIN page in XDA. Read everything b4 you do anything then when you read it READ it again. No one is responsible for what you do to your phone.
Apologize for not being more helpful

I've used it on SkyICS rom but can't seem to figure out how it works. I can get it to work but can't get it to send what I want. Seems the other phone takes over. Hard to describe unless you've tried it.

Hey there. It's not that easy like installing windows or something and you loose your waranty. You should look for your specific phone in this forum.
What was it called?
Tmobile isn't the manufactor. It is just your provider.

Ah yes. This is a good place to start: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_III/SGH-T999
Do it only if you are familiar with advanced computer handling.
Just saying it because you wrote your wohle text in the headline which seems kind of confusing.

I've been trying to root my phone for a while I've been looking around the net for a while now and can't seem to find any good guides to rooting a Verizon 4.1.1 update GS3 using Linux. The only guide I found used the international version of the phone. I run ubuntu 12.04
Does anyone here know of any good guides for this?

Odin is windows only. Have you successfully done this with Heimdall?

I've did my share of research. Just did a factory wipe and rerooted with clockworkmod recovery.
Just want to get opinions on the best custom rom for the verizon galaxy s3? All opinions welcome and any problems with different roms would be nice to know.
I want something that's basically built around functionality and performance. Thanks!

Best rom threads are not allowed on XDA. Each ROM works differently on each phone. Test each one and see what fits your needs

No such thing as a Best ROM. Every user of a ROM thinks that one is the best.
Hey all,
I need to file a warranty claim and no longer have the original backup to my g flex b/c my old hard drive died on my pc and I didnt have a backup of my backup.
Does anyone have an img or TOT file that I can use to reflash my ATT G Flex 2 back to stock (unrooted)?
Also, SuperSU doesnt help b/c when you unroot using it and restore the ROM, it reinstalls root so I need more of a permanent solution in case they try to restore it during the warranty claim process.
Most of the links that I am finding on here are dead...
Any help would be appreciated.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/g-flex2/general/guide-lg-g-flex-2-stock-firmware-to-t3037593 (link works, but the TOT file for ATT phones is rooted)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g-flex2/general/p-restore-recovery-to-stock-tool-h950-t3171550 (I tried this but it isnt working.)
