I want to hide the pop up camera for the face unlock and replace it with my pattern to unlock because the camera looks awkward but I like it automatically unlocking.

Is there a way to make the phone require you to slide the phone unlock and then draw your unlock pattern? I like the slide unlock screen but also want to be able to have a pattern lock instead of picking one over the other.
the only way i know to do it is through lockbot pro.
I want to enable pattern lock but I want to disable the HTC lockscreen.
Right now if I enable the pattern lock and if I wanted to unlock my phone, I still see the regular htc drag circle to unlock before it goes to the pattern screen. So I'd basically have to lock screens that I have to unlock.

I recently come across Smart Lock feature in Lollipop.
I own YU-YUPhoria phone and setup smart lock feature with face recognition enable.
After the screen is locked. When I try to unlock my phone it comes up with pattern to unlock and there is no option for face recognition.
I want to open my phone with face recognition but only pattern is coming.

Face detection never works.. Have tried on other yuphoria devices too.. Same issue..
Face Unlock WILL ONLY WORK WHEN THERE IS ENOUGH LIGHT TO SEE THE REFLECTION OF YOUR FACE IN THE SCREEN WHEN IT IS IN LOCKSCREEN POSITION...
On the lockscreen if your screen can see the reflection of your face then it will unlock...
By the way,, i have tried it too and it has been a hit and miss situation

So I set up my S7 with Fingerprint, but sometimes it doesn't even ask for my fingerprint and i can just unlock the phone by swiping it.
And when I press on a notification it will unlock the phone by it self without asking for fingerprint
Solutions ?
Using third party lockscreen?
Check Settings, Lock screen and security, Secure lock settings, Smart Lock.
I'm interested in buying the OP7 but want a fast and uncomplicated fingerprint unlock experience. In all the videos I saw people first double tap the screen and then unlock through fingerprint, so my question is if it's possible to skip the step of double tapping somehow to directly unlock the phone.

Well there's an option to turn on ambient display on pickup, so you can activate the fingerprint right after picking it up.
On the other hand you can try using the face unlock after powering the screen on through the power button or double tap. Face unlock is super fast too!

Fp sensor is not as fast as a sensor that is not behind the screen like the OP6 and since you can't feel the location of the sensor you can't just guess where it is and always need to look at the screen but it works well enough. Especially in combination with face unlock. One or the other will unlock quickly enough.
