Hi,
I have few questions about Google Now,
1. It's can update me about tv shows?
2. It's update me about package from amazon (USPS), if I got early (before I got my Nexus 5) email with Tracking number from Fedex, I can add it ?
Another question not about Google Now,
I use the phone with Hebrew language,
and all the is from right to left, how I can change it to Left to right ?
I mean, the watch/signal/wifi icon is in top right, I want it in top left, possible ?
Regards.

Go to Google Now > Customize (Scroll down and tap the magic wand) > Everything Else and you'll see options for packages and TV.
Regarding package updates, it seems that Amazon no longer includes the carrier and tracking number in its shipping notification emails.

As i wrote in this thread I solved that issue purchasing the app with a phone running an old (2.2.6) version of the Market app. If you don't have an old phone with an old market, i think you can try downgrading your market app to a 2.x version (and blocking the market autoupdate before it starts, but i dont know how you could do it) and see if it allows you to purchase.

It's no subtitute for a fixed market but if you're in a fix, you could also go to the market website and purchase apps that way. They're even pushed to your phone automatically.

That's what I did to buy ADW Ex that kept giving me an error directly on the phone. It wasn't the same error, but hopping on my PC worked without a problem and the update was pushed to my phone as soon as I switched the screen on.
on the website via PC is the same...just tried...i will try to downgrade market app
I obviously tried from the web market too, but it showed the app as purchased and then returned the same error "you haven't purchased the app". For me only downgrading the marked fixed the problem
However it's evident there's a problem with paid apps installed from outside the market and the market account. It sees them as purchased when they're not. Or maybe the cause was a Titanium Backup market doctor?
Anyway downgrading the market is a good workaround for the moment...
"Simple" solution
I found a simple solution in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23356474&postcount=18 but it had German instructions which I followed as best as I could and was finally able to purchase Tunein Radio Pro from the Google market.
I used Firefox and new Google Play market.
Basically you go to the Google market website on your computer and RIGHT click on the "Purchased" button - that.s the same button that you would normally Buy/Install an app.
When the menu shows up I chose "Inspect Element" which added a menu bar at the bottom after pressing HTML button on the right my browser was split in two with the bottom now having the source code of the "Purchase button"
Clicking "Purchased" in the upper window highlights the code that is executed. In my case I had to scroll a few lines up and found the beginning of the line with "<a class="buy-link buy-button goog-inline-block", and in that line I found data-ispurchased="true".
Double clicking on just "true" opened a pop up window where I could change the value to false.
Clicked on an X on the right in the menu that's between my two window panes closing the bottom Inspect pane.
Now LEFT (normal) clicking on the "Purchased" button allowed me to buy the app.

I was fooling around and was trying to get the hotword to function on my stock Xoom with JB. I installed a apk from the Galaxy S3 forum about Sprint's update killing the google search box. Which I now have but it has killed my google now search capabilities the mic no longer shows at the top of the right hand side and I can not slide up from the home button to start it either. It is also gone from the launch screen where I could choose from camera, google and system unlock. So I need the stock JB google now apk. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
It may also help if someone could look in their settings and go to apps and go to all and click their google search and see what number version they have. Mine is version number 1.4.1.338691
Thanks to all those that helped. I figured all I had to do was uninstall updates from my google search app and problem was fixed.
I just installed "TinyCam Monitor Pro" and it appeared in the Main Menu. Wonder if their are other apps not listed that will do the same. Maybe Google is planing to release some more support apps soon?

Kodi (aka XBMC) showed up on my Main Menu after installing, but subsequent installs of Amazon and Amazon Instant Video do not show up on Main Menu (side note: Amazon Instant Video loaded, but nexus couldn't navigate to a video for me to test playing)
Any app can make itself visible from the main screen by declaring a CATEGORY_LEANBACK_LAUNCHER intent. It is one of the requirements for being allowed into the Android TV store, but any developer can put that in their app.

I just need some help if someone is willing...
1. I just moved to Canada from France where I used to have an Android phone and Android tablet. I've changed every single location setting imaginable in every single settings menu on my new Blu Life One X and STILL the Play store insists on showing up in French with euros. Where do I make this change? The new phone has a Canadian SIM and logs in all day from a Canadian location. Even Google Maps knows where I am.
2. Notifications are pop ups to tell you that something is new in an app: a message, an update, etc.
Syncing is the application connecting with servers to update data.
Notifications seems easy to find but is there one SPECIFIC place to stop both of them if one wants? I feel like there are apps doing background syncing that I don't want to be doing so and can't for the life of me find where to get them to stop.
Thanks for any help guys. I appreciate it.

I'm assuming so that the phone itself instead of just your apps would know which region it is in, therefore, showing the currency for that country. Using just location services may not be enough.

Not necessarily French but at least CANADIAN, its about getting the phone set to the correct region, not necessarily a specific language. You WERE in France so I suggested French, that's all.

Sign into Google Wallet and click the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
Click Edit next to the "Home address" listed and update the address (please note this is different from the "Address book" which holds shipping addresses).
Open the Google Play website and navigate to any paid item available for download at Android Apps on Google Play.
Click to begin a download until you reach the 'Accept and buy' screen (no need to complete the purchase).
Close Google Play and clear your browser cache if you're on a desktop or laptop computer.
Wait 30 minutes.
Re-open the Google Play. You should now see the Play Store that matches the country in your legal address.
(If this doesn't work, remove any existing cards)
Hi,
After I've reset my Gear S3 I've noticed that my paid watch faces are gone. Is there any way to restore them?
Thank you.
You could try this:
On your phone, open galaxy apps, click top right and choose settings. Then choose receipt. It will show you all the paid apps and watchfaces you have purchased.
I'm not sure if you can install them again from there. But at least you have proof of purchase if you need to get in touch with the seller of the apps and watchfaces.

Instead of settings, you have to go into My Apps, and you'll see all the watch faces that you have bought. And yes you can install them again.
On your phone, open Galaxy Apps icon, click top right and choose My apps. Then choose All. Choose Gear column. It will show you all the paid apps and watch faces you have purchased & allow you to reinstall any of them.
Go to the Gear App on your phone and choose Apps from the menu. Then choose the three dots in the upper right hand corner and then choose Download History. All of your purchased apps will be listed for you to restore.

Same case happened with my gear S3,all purchased watch faces in KSA disappeared with watch reset in Egypt and restored only apps purchased in Egypt.
samsung account
I've had some of this with every Gear watch. As long as you are logged into your Samsung account you won't have to pay again. You just need to know the app you want which I always do. Once I click on it, the price goes away and it is clear I am not being charged.
When you are charged you get messages like "are you sure you want to buy?" You then get confirmation emails on the purchase. You also have a testing time period to request a refund.

In Galaxy Gear, tap Settings tab, select Apps, tap the 3 vertical dots on top right corner, select Download history, select the Gear tab, all previously purchased apps and watch faces will be listed, select the down arrow to the right of the item to reinstall on your Gear watch.

Change your sim card
Have you try changing the sim card to other country rather than using the local sim that you have been using right now. after that you can open the galaxy apps and update the application, sort of like that. Hope this help.
I had the same issues for the last week with my Huawei mate 10.
I contacted Samsung support many times and they kept saying the same thing about checking the galaxy app, which as was said before, its the first thing we do. I then posted my problem on Samsung community site and was told to try to contact Samsung pay in your own country.
Although they said they couldn't help as I used PayPal they did said others are having similar issues with the latest update.
I then went to reply on the Samsung community site but for some reason my password was not recognised so I had to reset it. After that I sent the reply and of course I had to log in again with my new password in gear manager, now all my paid apps and watch faces are back.
They must have done something!
Cheers guys ... I'm late to the party just got an S3 classic and this just saved me. Had to reset to fix the samsung pay bug and lost face(s) !!
All sorted now though.
