did your phone still in stock or already rooted..?
if your phone still in stock...just pull out the battery 3-5 minutes first...then put it in back again..and try turn on again with pressing and hold volume down+power button...then wait until phone show bootloader with green android picture at bottom of it..then press volume up or down button to select "FACTORY RESET" then press power button to confirm it..
hope this help..

Okay first off...smaller fonts are your friend.
Second, are you s-on still?
What current firmware version do you have?
Try to enable 4ext Smart Flash.
If it won't work flash latest firmware package and check if you are S-On or S-Off.

You need to upgrade your firmware to 3.32 or the latest 3.33 BUT you first need to S-OFF your phone.
In Sensation Android Development there are guides that will help you doing this.

you should have used revolutionary.io to S-OFF your device
there wan't no reason to unlock your bootloader with your hboot version
see here http://revolutionary.io/
and after that you have to upgrade your fw version in order to install ics or jb rom

Hi,
You might consider running a RUU.
Look HERE
And HERE
Just a question. When you go into recovery, is there anything pops up like "your recovery is not properly configured yet"? It caused problem for me too. Even though I enabled smartflash under settings, I couldn't boot up the rom. You need to run a rom on your phone, either it's stock or custom, install the 4ext recovery updater/control application, start it, go to settings and some windows will show up to configure the recovery. Or you could try to flash boot.img manually from fastboot.

Latest firmware is 3.33. If you are s-on you cannot update firmware. 3.33 contains the radio...etc. You will get a security fail on bootloader screen if you try...

to put it in simpler terms
firmware upgrade is possible if the official firmware for that device (based on cid, modelid and version-main) is available (can be extracted from RUU/OTA) even if the device is SON

md5 sums if for checking the zip in order to avoid a bad download or corrupted zip file
boot to recovery
i think somewhere it has an option to check md5 sums
then check it with one from firmware's thread if it matches
that is important too as it has to do with firmware(and avoid bricking the device)
i cant figured how to check md5
My bootloader detail is
-revolutionary-
pyramid pvt ship s-off rl
hboot-1.17.1111
radio-10.14.9035.02_2

depending from your hboot version you are still on gingerbread firmware
surely you don't have 3.32 as you mentioned before

Boot loop, No recovery. help needed :(

hi guys, ill try and keep it as brief as poss.
Phone was rooted working fine, dropped the phone and cracked the screen so sent for repair. Repair shop returned it back to stock :/
Left phone stock and working fine for a couple of months, accidentally let phone fully discharge and think it damaged the battery. Bought a new battery but the phone just boot loops. Can get into Hboot but when i choose recovery it just starts boot looping again. In a panic i flashed a 3.33 firmware but made no difference. Can someone give me a step by step how to sort? thanks!!
Phone says :
-firmware- 3.33-
pyramid pvt ship s-off rl
hboot 1.27.1100
emmc-boot
Im guessing its also locked because when i do the oem lock in command prompt its saying device is locked. cheers all.

If i connect fastboot-usb and use the command prompt to flash a recovery i get (error-partition doesnt exist!!)
Can i put any recovery on the sd card and somehow load it without using the recovery option?

Thats a very good question rzr86 I think i have found the right ruu but i could only find one with a firmware base of 1.73 and my phone is currently 3.33. does it matter or will have to somehow downgrade my firmware to match the ruu?

I found the stock rom for my phone, double clicked the .exe and it went through all the loading process and installed the stock ruu onto my phone but the problem i started with is still there. If i turn the phone on it just goes to the htc logo and then reboots. If i hold power + vol down then pick recovery it does the exact same boot loop. thanks for your help!! :good:
