[Q] How to buy Dual sim Moto G from India? - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there anyone that can help me buy a dual sim Moto G 16gb from India?
Is it released already?
Hope that it will be much cheaper than in Brazil

Not Much Info On release date...
it will be available in Indian markets within a month and probably priced around INR 15000 to keep the phone in budget range, there's no official release date or price...
btw, what's the price in Brazil ?
and why do u want to purchase it from India ?

The price in Brazil is approx. 340USD

Hi folks,
The Moto G dual SIM (XT1033) is already available in the most popular online retailers, its price is around US$ 250. However, it seems that this device is selling well because the availability of units is decreasing fast.
Regards

You can buy it here:

I'm going to buy Moto G from Flipkart for 14K in India.
I have some questions before buying it.
1.Is it good mobile under 14K?
2.Google Sold motorola to Lenovo, then how can i get warranty or to repair?
3.Are there any motorola service center in india?
4.How much free space will be available for user?
5.Is camera quality is enough?

1. It's a BEAST and it's the best Android phone under 20K, let alone 14K, in India.
2. No issues with those at all. The deal isn't even complete officially and Lenovo is unlikely to interfere much with Motorola. So, I think it'll get Android updates beyond 4.4.2 as well.
3. There are MANY. Here's a list: https://motorola-mobility-en-in.cus.../filename/Updated MASC list - 04th Feb 14.pdf
4. 12.9GB for the 16GB variant and 5.5GB for the 8GB variant.
5. Camera quality is more than decent. I'd say best 5MP shooter I've used in my life.
Let me know if you have other questions. I bought the single-SIM global GSM variant for 16.5K, and it still was a bang for buck device even at 16.5K.
Thanks for your info.
I'm planned to buy Moto G 16gb dual sim from flipkart for 14k.

I got the 16g global Google play edition a few days ago and so far its been great the battery lasts way longer then I thought it would not really sure about the camera as I never take pictures but out of the box it has 12.6gb of usable storage.

Moto G in saudi arabia

moto g is not available in my country so I gonna travel to suadi arabia. please some one led me to where can i found this phone in suadi arabia only for single sim x1032 version?tnx
If I were buying a phone to use overseas, I would just buy it online through Motorola or amazon. Those are the places you can buy the unlocked international gsm version, whereas most retail stores carry the CDMA version, at least that's how it is in the U.S. I wouldn't buy it in Saudi Arabia as their prices tend to be high, so ordering it online would be the cheapest option and shipping times aren't too bad; about 1 week or less.

[Q] Is there any difference between the Chinese one of OPO and the international one?

I want to buy the OPO but my throwback is the country I live in, Bangladesh. As you know, 16 countries are officially available to the supply of OPO and Bangladesh is not listed on it. Surprisingly one of the dealers in Bangladesh is selling OPO at a rate of $488.75 (US Dollar) for the Chinese Version.
So my query is that is there any difference between the Chinese version and the international version or are they both identical. And why is the Chinese version so widely available where as the International version is as bad as extinct?
Anyone Help? Thanks in advance xD

Thanks. Could you tell me if I'm going to be able to use LTE and 3g in USA or in countries in Europe? I'm a student and I'm going to change countries for better education in a year. So I need to know if LTE and 3G will work properly on major carriers in USA or in countries in Europe. Thanks for your help earlier though, really appreciate the time you taken to do the researches for my help. Thanks.

DualSim anyone or anywhere?

Is there any country or region variant of the moto g 2015 which offers dual sim?
Like the xt1068 moto g2?
It seems that the feature has been killed at least in Germany...

XT1550 - 8GB and 16GB Dual-SIM are available on Ebay for delivery worldwide. There is a high risk of additional custom charges. Also, XT1550 may not support all of the 3G / LTE Bands used in your country.
8GB | 1GB RAM: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Launc...ed-Dual-Sim-1-2Ghz-Quad-Core-4G-/252040743748
16GB | 2GB RAM: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Launc...Gen-Unlocked-Dual-Sim-1-2Ghz-4G-/252040752217
The XT1550 variant should be fine for germany, it's missing one LTE band (B20), but the other two supported (B3, B7).
The price on ebay is pretty high (~288€ for the phone + possibly ~55€ for duty/taxes = 343€).
I am looking into buying on flipkart.com and shipping to germany with in.vpost.com or shopandship.com.
Cost would be about ~181€ for the phone (16gb) + ~25€ for shipping + ~39 for duty/taxes = 245€. Which would even be less expensive than the phone without dual SIM costs in germany.
Does anybody want to try this?
Wow! Very interesting, did you do that?

I think the way it works is that you create an account with in.vpost.com or shopandship.com - and they provide you with a shipping address in India. You then create an account on flipkart.com with that info. For example, flipkart sends the phone to vpost, who in turn post it to you.

2nd Sim Phone where to buy?

Is Taiwan the only place to buy phone that has hybrid 2nd sim card, which allows either 2nd sim or microsd card?
There are a few regions. Check Xperifirm for model F8332. The regional firmwares listed will tell you which markets have the dual sim version.

Is the dual US or international version? I want one but want the fingerprint feature without having to go through all the trouble to re flash eur roms
Flashing Eur rom will be 30 minutes job. It will be less of a problem than looking for international version, flashing is pretty straightforward.

$40 US more than the single sim seemed in family given the 64GB storage.
Anyone seen this yet for purchase in the UK from a reputable supplier?
