[Q] Google Play Store crashing - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Yesterday I finally install Cyanogenmod 10 on my Xperia J.. After installation i download Play Store but when I try to open, it crash...After that I go to Settings/Apps/Download Manager, and press Enable and still nothing...

Did you just install the Play Store, or the whole Gapps package? Just Play Store won't work, you need the full Gapps.

I think it's been fixed in the new Speedmod. It's got a new kernel.Search on Pg. 158-160 of the original dev page

[Q] Not installing gapps?

Is it possible to avoid installing gapps at all but still be able to install apss from google play website?
After installing CM11 used the browser to install from google play website. I click the install button and I get the message ".... will be installed on your device soon". When I go to Google Play, it shows the app has been installed but it does not show up on the phone anywhere??!!!!

The google play website install button relies on your phone having the Google Play app in addition to having Google Play Services installed.
There are a few alternative app stores available for Android, but they won't have near the amount of apps available for them as Google Play does.
There was a website I read about that would allow you to download APKs from free apps on the Google Play store using your browser which you then could install manually on your devices, but I don't know the specifics. I do remember that paid apps weren't available to download using that site since Google verifies you own the app before allowing you to download it.
While the minimalist GApps that @BaNkS produced are no longer being maintained, the Paranoid Android folks are kindly filling the gaps with their Pico Modular GApps package. It is pretty well stripped down to the minimal that you need for Google services.
Big thanks to @TKruzze for providing these packages!

I initially had the same Problems.
I copy the Calender Sync and Contact Sync in System/App and give Permissions to rw-r-r- and Reboot.
Now it works without Problems.
This only works when the X2 is rooted, whether it comes to install I do not know, but you can try it.
In the Attachmeht is the Download Google Sync Calender and Google Sync Contacts.
Unzip it,when you have root copy it to System/app and give Permission,Reboot and all Google Apps works,
or install without root and test whether it works.
Thanks but I don't want to root it yet. I got the contacts to sync, but I get an error almost every time I try to download from the play store. I think there is some confusion regarding tablet or phone.... Are most people able to download direct from the play store?

Nah, Sorry. You have to download each one. And the Google App has to be gotten from the playstore. Make a backup when you get it the way you want it in twrp.
Or search the Google Installer from Eric, this works

how to completely degoogle

is there any rom that will completely get rid of google? i tried viper and the play store was still there
i just don't want any gapps
To my knowledge, the only real true way is to root and flash an aosp rom (if available). They usually don't include Google apps unless you flash a gapps zip file. I hope that helps

just delete google play services and playstore manually.
There's a fork of lineage os that removes the google framework. There was an article on xda a bit ago. Anyway, here's the project page (https://lineage.microg.org/) and here's the article (https://www.xda-developers.com/unofficial-lineageos-built-in-microg-avoid-google-services/)
