This is the aurora live wallpaper from my original note 1 i717 that I've modded to give the note 3 light effect on the lock screen when used as lock and home screen background. Comes with 4 color schemes, just tap on an empty portion of any home screen to change colors on the fly.
No root necessary as I made it a signed apk...simply install as usual and enjoy.

Hi, thank you so much for the wallpaper, it's incredible and I will keep it on my phone. Besides that... When I updated my NOTE 3 to android kitkat (4.4.2), I lost the light effect and now I can't get it to work again. Does anyone else have this problem? even with this new wallpaper I do not get the light effect, I just got NO effects on live wallpapers. Help please.
How do you get the app without having to download something else?

Sorry I haven't checked this thread in a few weeks...honestly kk has a lot of weird issues I've heard about...that's why I've yet to build a kk rom and continued progressing my 4.3 roms...my guess would be the framework has changed for the effects so the mod that I did to aurora no longer applies or takes affect...as to why you have no effects...is this part of something with kk say if you use one of the live full screen widgets or certain unlock patterns aside from swipe...try using swipe no lock screen password and see if that doesn't fix it

When I click on that link, I get directed to click on another link that takes me to the Play Store to download the Mega cloud storage. I don't want that.

That is because he uploaded it to mega which requires you to use their app to download. I haven't tried downloading on a pc but I know that for mobile
Just use the app for dl then delete what I do

If you're using Chrome just Request Desktop Site and you don't have to download anything extra.

I just tested and with the stock browser you can click the link then hit menu and click the box for desktop view and it works just fine. Don't need the app to download. Give that a try

How have you gotten this far on xda without Mega? Every developer uses Mega, and its a much faster download repo than anything else. You'd be wise to get it.

To be quite honest mega and above guy I think mega is the first Dev that I have ever needed the mega app for any dl's either. Since the craptivate days of flashing you are the first dev that I personally have had the need for that app and I have done a bit of flashing and downloads lol..
Dont get me wrong. No issue with it as if I cared I can just delete when done lol ??

Really?? That's weird....all my friends that build use it...it's free fast and stable...it's just a better alternative to drop box for the volume of downloads my kits get....my roms have gotten shut down on literally ever other host but google drive even mega lol...but Yea I've been using it for several years since it first came out and have been impressed by the improvements they've made to their servers...i even use it for my own personal stuff to transfer kits between my devices

How did you get it on your device? It will not push to it from the market. I am running CM7.
use a sideloader.
I'm rocking the blacked out version and I love it. Makes me feel better about running a live wallpaper since it's mostly black.
If you're able to install from untrusted sources then you just launch the .apk and it installs fine.

I hate bumping such an old thread, but can someone post the apk of this? I can't download it and it's the only REAL version I've found that isn't just the nexus one's with a replaced background.

Everything else installs fine except for this, and this doesn't even show up on the market on my phone. Can you try installing it?
I don't personally agree that app's currently free in the App Store in "BETA" should be locked to specific users. IF you want the BEST product, you should let as many people test it as possible.

As far as I know, there were only a few widget's. I have no access to the official binary(unpatched) but all that was changed was a single byte in the entire app.
Grep'ing the widget catalog smali shows nothing about facebook(checking facebook, fbook, face, book, etc as terms).

It's a beta, I didn't write it, just felt more people should be able to test it. Hopefully the developers will watch the feedback here as well so they know too.
I believe it is not allowed to be posted in such a manner on the Play Store, so the developer is wrong to put it up as a selective beta.

My apologies, I originally signed it with cm9 platform keys which don't allow you to install it(you would have to copy into system/app)

When do you get the force close? log cat?
I've only personally tested on Moto Xoom w/ OTA JB, and my Galaxy Note(CM9).
Some clipping occurs on the Note, and on the Xoom I get force closes with the widgets if I add/remove them certain ways.
It works awesome on my htc one x! But looks like its created for tablets

Yeah I installed it on my One X too lol. It looks nice, some things dont scale too well (because its made for tablets), and the lack of widgets brought me back to Nova.

Pictures appear sideways on my phone, it went 90 degrees clockwise.
Deleting photos still show them. (some cache?)
Well, quite minor, the app is featherweight and does its job without glitz.
Will love to know where is the output of photos taken (maybe I can set up a sync to Dropbox via Dropsync).

Thank you Markuzy for your feedback. There is newer version (v1.01) that has this picture issue fixed. It should not show without 90 rotate. Let me know if it happens again after the update.
About the delete issue, thanks for pointing it out. Let me check and fix it.
The pictures are not stored on the file system, its in the app database, hence you cannot view it directly from any other viewer. Intention was to keep the images secure. About dropbox, i can add that sync option in one of the next releases. Thank you for your opinion.

Can you remove "Hidden Eye" from your Device Administrator list and then uninstall it. After that you should be able to install it from Play store.. let me know how it goes...

Just saving the photos in the regular camera folder should do it, as dropbox already has the ability to upload any incoming photo into that folder

Used it about 5 minutes, so far I've noticed that the text you've just sent stays in the new sms page for 30-40 seconds after being sent. The UI is nice, could do with a Light theme though. Animations are excruciatingly slow, maybe cut them down to 100-150ms, however everything is very smooth.
All in all, it's looking very promising, I'll be continually online and available if you need someone to test stuff.
HTC One V, Paranoid Android.
Oh, and your Play Store link is broken.
The app as a whole looks fairly nice the only thing that really bugs me is the conversation view looks little messy if there's a way to straighten that up I think this will work great also I'm also available for testing if you need a tester

App is Brilliant.. The UI is absolutely beautiful..
The concept of loading limited messages and pulling down to load more messages is also good..
Few suggestions..
Opening the app has to be a bit fast.. It takes hell a lot of time..
In the threaded view both incoming and outgoing can be white text or atleast have the option to choose according to the need of the user..
But overall.. Great app in such a small size.. Brilliant Dev..
just stepping here, as many said that it is laggy (also i dont have a balance on my phone currently) i just send a thanks and 5 star to motivate the devs..

You can instal it on phone only, Nexus 7 is a tablet.
You need at least ICS ( 4.0 OS ). I Got a Nexus S on ICS, and I can instal it

---------------------------------- How I develop PicPac Camera -------------------------------------------------
Since this forum is for developers, I will first share how I built this app so far.
PhD student - I am a last-year PhD student, and this is probably my last work before finding a job.
40 hours - This app takes a few weekends to finish, about 40 hours.
Free and ad included - It is a utility app and it is free, so I put an ad at the share screen which may give me a few cents a week:fingers-crossed:
Two modes - It has two modes, TRIO and PLUS. Trio takes 3 shots, and Plus takes 1 to 9 shots.
App name - PicPac Camera ~ pac your pics
Domain name - picpac.me Cost me $9.99 a year.
Website - picpac.me . Hosted on strikingly.com for FREE! And just let Godaddy forward picpac.me to strinkingly (for now). Setting up the website only takes me 1 - 2 hours, including preparing the images for the website. Super easy for fast release.

TRIO was inspired by Triptychs of Strangers by Adde Adesokan at Flickr. These photos are really cool.

It is actually on the play store (have modified the original post). But I am a new user so the system does not allow me to put links outside XDA

I have already got NOT-WORKING feedback from users of Droid DNA, PantechP8010, and Note 2.
This is bad but it is good for a first-time developer like me to realize how important it is to test on more devices...
I tested it on Nexus 4, and a very old HTC Desire.
Can anyone give me some suggestions on this? Any online services you can recommend?

After I select one of the options it crashes on my HTCOne stock Rom not rooted. Hopefully soon it gets fixed

I found a stupid and fatal mistake. I added "mCamera.enableShutterSound(true); " (for API 17 or above, i.e. OS 4.2+) in my last revision, and the eclipse/Lint did not give me warning or errors. MY MISTAKE.
Have updated the apk and attach it here (the google play store takes hours to update...)
Can anyone help me to further test it. I think there may still be some out-of-memory error for some devices, but fingers crossed fingers-crossed:
