Device maintainers:
Tipo ----> srl3gx, joebonrichie

Screen recodring doesn't, there is an internall error. it will be investigated later.
Now I'm working on bluettooth and storage.
the funny thing is that I knew how to fix camera but I forgot how I fixed it in Shendu ^^

Just to be curious, can you please upload a pic of the RAM usage?
You know, the one in Settings > Apps > Running

Last time I checked it was around 180-160mb free. But don't look at it. RAM in android isn't wasted

Please don't spam here. Write PM instead. This thread is for JLO.

Well I must say I'm blown away. 2 days after the biggest news hits our devices and not one single person has replied with a logcat, posting issues or things they've found.. Not one post even stating they've downloaded it and trying it out!
Instead we get demands, in-fighting and schoollkid bickering. You XDA users really are ungrateful little children.
So if you want to help, supply logcats, give details or just don't bother posting.
People have worked hard to give you this, the least you could do is show some respect in dev threads.. Keep it dev related!

But the question still stands: Munjeni, what is the difference with this rom compared to the AOSP version? Is the fact that it is CM10 the only difference?

Beta 2 will be uploaded today... still I am one of the 2 developers active here(maybe only one?), allso I see few users is only active here... this phone I think going to legend and I think moderators will move soon this forum to legacy devices forum because here is low forum activity... so I think I will stop all develpment for this phone now... going to buy new one!
Sorry to see that Beta 2 will be the last release. However, it's time to move on and I completely understand that. Thank you for all of your hard work and continued development of this phone. I can't wait to hear which phone you get next so I can follow your development there, too!

ParanoidAndroid 3.00 for Sony Xperia Tipo
This is still JB 4.1.2, since we're still building PA with a CM base. PA's new AOSP 4.2 base appears to be on the same 'jellybean' branch, which is why (I'm assuming) the version still went up to 3.00. I didn't change this, it was built that way from PA source.
Disclaimer: I do not claim to be a developer... However, by READING, SEARCHING, and TRYING, I've learned some tricks of the trade. One of them has been building from source. All I am doing is putting a few pieces together to make it compile, all the hard work has been done by h8rift and mg2195. Their repos, hard work, and dedication build this ROM - all thanks/credit goes to them as well as the CM and the PA teams. . I test these builds on my own device before any release, but I do not claim it will work for everyone. ALWAYS have a nandroid in case of emergencies. I am NOT responsible for bricked devices or catastrophic failure Changelog and Screenshots live in the second and third post
PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT
This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
PER-APP-COLOR
ParanoidAndroid's newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

There are some poblems with AudioHardware.cpp (undeclared functions) in tamsui-common/libaudio. I am compiling with all things under the heading Audio in tamsui.mk commented.
I also fixed the problem with lights.c (Use the one on CyanogenMod Repo)
You might want to look into that.

You have to delete also libaudio folder, then should be fine.
Don't push changes into tamsui-common (lights) because it's ok. I updated it to support illumination bar. Nanhu uses different file so put it in your device tree and comment out in tamsui-common on your hard disk. This should be fine

About Carbon
CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonDev GitHub. and on our Gerrit CarbonDev Gerrit.
We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.
Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, PA, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! If you have questions, ask your fellow users or ask us in #teamcarbon on freenode IRC.

Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.
Who is Team Carbon?
Find out here:
Carbon Team
Remember, every penny you send to us goes right back into the rom. It's used for hardware, server costs, etc - all the things that help us make Carbon better with every release. Your support means the world to us! If you've enjoyed Carbon, please consider a donation toward this goal. Thank you, and we hope you continue to enjoy Carbon!

Nice to see some new ROMs over here! Great work!
lockscreen bug from jb is still here and it is worse
So is it AOSP or Carbon Rom? lol
Video playback doesn't work because this Carbon build is based on our source.
Good to see someone is working on devices too, not only asking for releases.
