I'm experiencing a delay receiving msgs on whatsapp since i have flashed CM11 Snapshot M2 on my galaxy nexus....i tried turning on the mobile sync when on wifi to receive msgs...it solved the problem but i need a permanent solution for this problem .....while installing whatsapp they notify us that there are too many app killers installed on the device which may delay the receiving of msgs but i have only 1 .....if there are any pre-installed app killers on CM 11 then plzz tell me so that i can turn them off temporarily....And plzzz tell me other solutions too:fingers-crossed:

Hi there.
I m on a the retail ROM FR 4.3 version.
I always use my phone on viber mode.
I m interesting with the viber only for SMS and calls.
Despite I uncheck the viber notification on several apps settings like K9 mail, Gmail, facebook... They are still vibrating when I receive a notification.
Is someone has the dame problem ?
And any idea to resolve it ?

Facebook messenger's notifications don't appear when I receive a new message on my moto g LTE. Is it an hardware issue (ram full) or a software issue? Is there a way to make it work correctly? Thank you
I noticed this as well on my LTE Moto G
Same here since like 2-3 weeks... notifs come about 2-10 minutes later or not at all. No difference if on wifi or mobile data.

Are you guys using greenify to hibernate the messenger app?
I had this problem with apps that ran with the GCM service.
The following link solved it (Root and no Root avaliable), but this should not be treated as a permanent fix.

After the OTA update for Lollipop, my Ascend mate 7 don't receives correctly texts messages. I randomly receives messages from my friends, sometimes i receive... sometimes not...
I tried to stop using textra and start using huawei default apps but still have trouble. Phonecall and Data are working well.
Someone has the same problem ? Do you know how to resolve it ? :crying:

Hey guys,
Couple of days ago I have installed the Sultan XDA ROM based on CM13 and Android 6.0.1 and since this time I am experiencing a strange problem with the Facebook messenger and couple of more apps. I can't send messages to anyone using the mobile data, I can only receive and when I am in the main menu it shows the connecting notification but nothing more. This is actually happening on other apps as well like Viber. Initially I thought it is because of some lack of permissions but then I have granted everything possible to the messenger and I still can't chat with my friends over the mobile networks. When I switch to Wi-Fi it works just fine. Anyone else experiencing such a problem? I will be glad for any advices. My phone is One plus One.
[SOLUTION] Check your APN settings and change the used APN. It appears that the ROM has chosen different than the default APN and probably on it the Internet traffic was filtered.

I recently updated my s6 to the official 6.0.1 (G920FXXU3DPBQ) ota.
since then i am experiencing some really annoying connectivity issues with instant messaging apps like Messenger, WhatsApp and Viber. I am getting disconnected every few seconds. The result is,you can send and reveive a text message with some delay but you can not make a call!
Does anyone face the same problem?
Are there any possible suggestions/solutions?
I would aprreciate any help! Thank you in advance!
