problem with sony ericsson flashtool
i downloaded flashtool i install it on my windows and i followed this details
Switch off your phone and put it aside.
Extract the “FlashTool_x.x.x.x.exe” file on your PC (you can just double click on it to extract)
Few files and folders will be extracted — the two which we’ll be using are the ‘drivers‘ folder and the ‘firmwares‘ folder.
Inside the ‘drivers‘ folder there’s a file named “ggsetup-2.2.0.10.exe”, double click on this file to install the proper driver on your PC.
Now copy the “.ftf” firmware file that you downloaded for your phone, and paste it inside the “firmwares” folder.
Double click the “X10FlashTool.exe” file.
Once the program opens — click on the “Flash” button.
You’ll see the firmware that you copied in Step 5 loaded on the screen — click “Ok”!
Now it should ask you to connect your phone to the PC. So first plug the USB cable to PC, then pick up your phone and hold the “Back” key (key at the bottom left on your Arc), and then connect the USB cable to your phone. Remember you’ve to hold the “Back” key while connecting the USB cable to phone.
Once the phone gets connected — Flashtool will automatically start the flashing process.
Keep an eye on the Flashtool’s screen.
And once the process gets finished, disconnect your phone from PC and switch it ON.
Don’t freak if it takes longer to boot (that’s normal) as the phone has to build the cache again after flashing.
but with 4.1.a.0.562 version ! but now the phone opens and it shows nothing !
what did i do wrong ?
please help !

I think you are using a very old version.
Try the latest flashtool v7
And skip the final verification when flashing ICS firmware. Theres an option to do that in the screen where you select the firmware.
Sorry I cant give you any links coz my laptop's really ****ed up!
But I'll help you until you fix it.
And sorry for late reply.

This is How i unbricked my Unite 2(4GB)

While trying some mods for Unite 2 , my phone got bricked, i must have done something wrong because those mods are working for others. so it was completely my mistake. so i spent my last 4 hours trying to find a solution and this is how i finally got it work.
JUST WANT TO REMIND YOU THAT TRY THIS GUIDE ON YOUR ON RISK, IM NOT GIVING YOU ANY GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL GOING UNBRICK YOUR DEVICE, IM JUST SHARING THE METHOD WHICH WORKED FOR ME
MY DEVICE
MICROMAX UNITE 2 4GB
KITKAT 4.4.2
following was the symptoms of my device only try this guide if yours are identical to mine
Phone was not booting up (nothing was happening no matter how long i press power button)
wasn't booting into to recovery mode also notification led was not turning on when plugged to PC (i.e No charging)
windows was making device plugged and unplugged sound over and over again when i was connecting it to pc using data cable
now from the 3rd point i figured out that my phone was being detected by my pc but only for a brief moment
so after searching for a while i found out that it was a problem with the PRELOADER and device was trying load META mode(donAt have any clue what that is) so i needed to Install MTK65XX Preloader USB Vcom Drivers for SP Flash Tools.
this is how i did it
Step 1 :Firstly Download MTK USB VCOM Drivers from here
DOWNLOAD
the extract it
Step 2 : Now open Device Manager in your PC by right clicking on My Computer and then click on Manage.
Step 3 :Next go to Device Manager in that and click on your PC name and then click on Add legacy hardware, see below
Step 4 : Now in Add Hardware Wizard click on Next >> Install the Hardware that i manually select from a list (Advanced) >> Show All Devices >> Next >>Have a Disk >> Browse, Now select the inf file according to your OS and from where you extracted the downloaded drivers.
Step 5 : Now click on Next on the wizard to install the drivers and when promoted for security issue just click on install any anyway to finish the driver installation.
Step 6 : After installation finish restart your PC.
Source
now remove battery of your phone and then plug it to your pc using data cable While Holding Volume up button
the windows will recognize it and install drivers, now open device manager and if you find a device under Ports(Com&LPT) which has Mediatek, MTK, USB, VCOM,PRELOADER keywords in it then you are good to go
now download SP Flash Tool
Devhost l Mediafire
and Factory rom
Download
and then extract the Factory rom archive
Then flash Stock ROM by following these steps:
Step 1: Open SP flash tool and load the Scatter file of Stock ROM it is inside the extracted factory rom folder
Step 2: Select Format all+Download in drop-down menu.
Step 3:Remove the battery of your phone.
Step 4:Click Download in SP Flash Tool.
Step 5:connect your phone to pc via USB cable while holding volume up button you can release volume button when the process is stared . Wait for flashing to complete .
Step 6: when the process is completed unplug the phone, insert the battery and then turn it one hopefully it should boot now and you should see Micromax logo just remember first boot take long time so just wait for it to completely boot
if this doesn't work then don't loose hope keep on searching for other ways ,
Nice one.... Will be helpful for some

[ SOLVED ] Lenovo A850 won't power up after flashing ROM

Hi everyone.
I got a Lenovo A850 ( MTK 6582 ) here which is belong to my friend, it was full with malware apps or I can say a Trojan, Hijackers etc etc.. Because it like to turn off USB DEBUGGING option ( checkbox ) and downloading inappropriate apps into device and I decide to flash a new ROM I downloaded from needrom website and flashed using SP Tools. All processes went alright and SP tools 'Green Circle' popup. :good:
Then, I unplug USB and put battery and cover, and pressing Power button. Sadly, it won't turn ON anymore, just Red LED light.:crying::crying: I can't even enter recovery / bootloader. I was looking for solutions everywhere including in X-DA forum. Some said, It was Hardware problem, but how come? It was fine before I flashed a ROM. and now it's totally dead
I played around by pulling out a battery and pressing Volume buttons + power with USB cable attached to it and it finally respond to PC device manager by showing a MTK USB port I tried using SP tools again to flash another ROM with hopes it will fix but yeah, I know it won't work as MTK USB Port is not the right driver for SP tools. :silly:
What do i do now? Please someone help me.
Many thanks!
EDIT : PROBLEM SOLVED
Hello members,
Finally, I got this device alive again and if you are also having this issue and still can't fix it, you can now by following below steps;
Its time to revive your dead phone.
First, download below files:
- Download this A850 stock ROM here ( MTK6582 )
- Use this SP flash tool, here
- VCOM Mediatek Drivers pack ( required )
*Items required : USB cable, PC/Laptop, & Your dead phone.
OK now lets start...
2. Unzip ROM file and start SP flash tools, Load scatter file > Go to option > check DA DL all with checksum.
3. Uncheck all list and Select 'PRELOADER' only and press Download.
4. Remove battery from your phone, after 5 secs while pressing Vol + / Vol - or both, connect USB to you device. If you get no response from PC ( not recognize ), you have to unscrew and open your phone cover to manually jumper the 'Preloader Test point'. Please follow this guide here. However it's quiet advance step and please do it carefully at your own risk.:good:
5. Otherwise, after plug in USB, your PC will start installing Driver ( If it failed to install driver automatically, then you have to install it manually from VCOM Mediatek driver pack download earlier ).
6. If everything is right, SP flash tools will automatically detect your device via MTK USB port ( RED BAR PROGRESS ) and It will change it to Mediatek DA VCOM and PURPLE BAR PROGRESS show up and viola! GREEN CIRCLE popup!
DONE!
7. Now remove USB from your phone, Don't do anything yet, back to SP flash tools, and now Select all flash list except PRELOADER and press Download. and insert USB cable again and flash tools will start the process, wait until it finish flashing all img's ( Boot, Uboot, System, Data, MBR etc ).
If flashing processes done successfully, it will popup GREEN CIRCLE again, now you can take a deep breath :victory:
- Unplug USB > Put Battery ON > Press power button > You tell me what you feel :silly:
*Side Note : If you're having any issue like a boot loop, just boot into Recovery Mode and format data/cache and REBOOT.

*Automade using MTKDroidtools

nada bunyi tu mcm SP Tools punya common error tu. Cuba guna wayar USB lain, reinstall MTK driver and guna different version SP tools. Dan 1 lagi .. pastikan ROM yg awk nk flash tu betul dengan model phone.
Gudluck bro :good:

Totally bricked a ZTE Blade L3, any solutions?

Hello,
tried to flash a custom OS and root on a ZTE Blade L3. I got CWM Recovery working and flashed a CM12.1 rom on it, after that, it failed to mount all partitions /cache etc. etc. then I restarted the phone and it bootloops + fades white immediatly!
Recovery or Bootloader etc. dont work
If I connenct the phone on my computer it connect, disconnnect, connect, disconnect and so on.
Anyone a solution or idea how I could save that?
I can help you, So first we have to know is it Hard bricked or just Soft bricked, In any case it's not hard to unbrick. Just follow these steps :silly:
1. Download SPFlashTool to your PC https://androidmtk.com/smart-phone-flash-tool
2.Download Drivers for MTK6582 (I hope I wrote the right MTK name) http://www.devfiles.co/download/0InO9P5m/MT65xx_USB_VCOM_DRIVERS.zip
3.Download stock firmware
http://r.srvtrck.com/v1/redirect?ur...ar&ad_t=advertiser&ad_zi=YieldLink&ad_dt=link
IF SOFT BRICKED:
-Update drivers with the one up there in the thread, Open SPFlashTool, Find scatter file (just a file with a .txt extension) and place it in Scatter file area in SPFlashTool (search on YouTube how to use SP), After you did that manually add the files that are missing ( it's usually the recovery and some other files that are missing), Then press download and AFTER that connected your phone with a USB cable! Then wait it to flash :victory: ,
IF HARD BRICKED:
-Remove battery,
-Connect to PC with USB cable
-It probably won't recognise your phone, so we need to enter so called META mode so we could flash the PRELOADER, to make the phone recognisable.
-To enter META mode remove battery( if you didn't), connect as I said up there, and try pressing and holding some buttons, I can't remember the correct combination that enters META mode but I think it was all buttons for 5 seconds, anyway you will know when you entered META mode if your PC recognises a change or if he finds the device :good:
-then enter SPFlashTool and flash the PRELOADER only (hope you know to use SPFlashTool)
-After that disconnect your phone and add battery
-Enter SPFlashTool and Flash whole system (all files except CACHE AND USER)
-You should be done ?
Hope it helps
Here's a total solution

Flash tool and stock ROM included. Just follow this:
1. unpack
2. run flashtool.exe
3. load scatter
4. click download
5. unplug your battery and plug the phone to your PC via USB
6. wait for process to finish and unplug your phone
7. Boot
P.S. I guess you'll need some drivers. Check the post above.
Good luck!
