I am using SBCL Rom for A90S. Rom is quite good and working perfectly on my phone. Howevere after 2-3 days of installing Bluetooth button stops working. Can anybody suggest fix for it? Infact the Rom is also no more available on this forum I have a copy of it.

Reflashing always fixes the issue , but its painful to do it every third day . This time I tried "Fix PErmissions" and it worked. However earlier it didnt work.
Volume issue with SBCL for A90S
Sound is very low for this Rom : SBCLMAX. I tried doing the setting at max after going in engineer mode but didnt help. People complaint on other side of phone that they have difficulty hearing me. I tried other Rom's like A90S stock ICS and Blue Vivo. Sound is fine on these Roms. Any help on SBCL will be highly appreciated. Rom is excellent other than these small small issues.

I'm having issues with Fring force closing every time it try's to bring up the front facing camera in video calls. Now I know this thread usually wouldn't belong in Android Development, but it only happens when I'm not using the Stock Rom or Kernal. I've tried the Baked Snack ROM, Tha Boss Rom, & Andromeda Galaxy Rom and they are all exhibiting the same problem. Also, I've tried using the Kernals that come with each rom, and also the MixUP kernal and its the same thing. I'm not sure if its because of some conflict that occurs, or what. Is anyone having this problem?
I've had the same problem. Flashing back to stock did fix it.

I have the same issue, i have to flash to stock then flash a rom, if i flash more than one rom it force closes, then after flash to stock and nand droid backup sometime it will work and other times it wont, just seems to be hit or miss for me goodluck on getting it figured out
Good to know it's not just me. Thanks for the responses. It's my girls phone so I'll see which she prefers (Rooted/Rom'd/Kernaled or Fring). She'll probably choose Rooted though because of the better battery life. I'll keep an eye out for a fix.

Yeah I think it's an issue with all the roms as of right now. Hopefully one of the Devs will take notice of this issue and work out a fix for us. Thanks in advance guys.
Add me to the list...using Andromeda and it gives me the FC everytime...going back to stock fixes it.

Yep fring definitely doesn't work with custom roms, I have tried every possible combo and nothing helps. Stock looks like the only option so far

Is it related to a custom kernel ?
How deep does an kernel or rom go in changing such things?
After a factory reset,booting in total dark they work till next boot .
So the hardware works ...
Are there any smart dev's that know what is going on ?

Ive never encountered this problem.
Its most likely down to ROM / Kernel - maybe even an app.
The ROM & Kernel go deep deep down into the core of the phone.... where the magic happens. You said yourself the hardware works, Which pretty much answers your own question
I even flashed stock rom ( ruu 1.50)
Didnt help.
Could it be that an rom,app or kernel messed up something
that an original rom could not overwrite ?

They both won't work for me either.
Tried to avoid this with faux, sebastians and stock kernel on ics,
maybe all three kernels have the same problem or it's related to
the Firmware.
I've tried to boot up without light but the Sensors are still not working :/

How can we create a big stink about this to get some smart Dev's going on the issue. Every person I have communicated with is a user like me who is just having the same problems over and over. There have been a few fixes offered, but NONE work successfully. Are we just going to have to bite the bullet and stay without Proximity & Light sensors forever??????
I wish someone would really be willing to dig deep into this to solve it, I will pay $$$$$$!!! I am VERY serious!

I seemd to get this bug after updating flashing new kernels and updating to ICS rom after being on GB MIUI with no problems.
I have tried everyting, flashing all ICS firmwares from the user friendly thread, super wipe, factory reset, manual wipes, format SD.
Tried Several ICS Roms including virtous, MIUI.us and Stock.
The sensors sometimes work for a brief period after reboot but will die after the phone goes to sleep a few times.
Well this thread has been dead for over half a year, but has anyone learned anything? I have a completely stock HTC Sensation 4g and now my proximity and light sensors are not working and the soft button backlights are not work. I have no idea if it happened after installing some app but I did a factory restore and that did not help at all.

I have a weird problem in my ace plus... My phone connects to wifi network but when i browse it doesn't works.. When i search something on google it works well but when i use facebook it keeps on loading for a long time and at last give error connection timed out. If i use static ip same problem google works but cannot browse facebook...
But now i installed cm10 by the Whisp and the wifi works without any error i can use google facebook or any other sites its working fine..:laugh::laugh:
This wifi problem is only with gingerbread roms both stock and custom roms :crying::crying::crying:
So is there any solution for it????? Since it works in cm10 but not is gb roms i don't think its the hardware fault..
so if anyone can help me please do reply..

I have tried all custom gb roms available and stock gb roms too but all with same result
but in cm10 everything works no problem at all:good::good::good::good:

Have You flashed the Kernel from the .zip, or from another ROM? I see your kernel is for miuiv4, so maybe that's why your mic doesn't work.

I've tried CM4.1.2-kernel-21_modded.zip but nothing changed.
FYI i'm just curious(it is custom and its appereance so beautiful ) so i tried the ROM and tested it, for now I already restored my phone to the latest backup before i install the MIUIv5.
But still if there is a solution to my kind of problem, please share here... maybe there will be another guy with the same problem comin here asking for the solution

I had the same problem with calls, but using either version from miuiandroid or en.miui works fine.

I am just using all from miuiandroid.com, also didnt change the kernel. All hw works good..
It's my first time to actually take the plunge and install a custom ROM and I seem to have encountered a problem. I followed the instructions to install RemICS ROM and initially everything went well. I turn on the device and everything seems to work except for the preinstalled MX Player and Apollo. That won't be a problem since maybe I could download replacements. The problem comes with locking the screen. I press on the lock button and the screen turns off. However, pressing the lock or home button does not turn on the screen, and the device proceeds to just heat up and use battery. I've tried returning to the stock ROMs and there seems to be no problem. Just with RemICS. Note though that I am not using 5.7.2 RemICS since it cant be downloaded for bandwidth reasons, I'm on 5.7.1. Thank you!

i think 5.7 or 5.6 or 5.2 the most stable till now ,
and All 5.x.x is not for everyday use it's just to testing new Mod's ,
i now use 5.2 And every think is ok and good ...
i will build new rom with next alpha6 with HW fixing ....
this bug you talk about is from new Tweaks i think it's too much so i remove the big one

Thanks for your reply. I'm downloading the 5.7 ROM now. Will the same TouchWiz and GApps files I downloaded with the 5.7.1 ROM work here? Also, is my understanding correct that I first install the RemICS zip (199MB), then install the Fix-RemICS-A4-A5 zip (25MB), then the FixSU zip in that order?
