[APP]BLINGBOARD New Social Widget

HI.
There is a new widget on Google play called "BlingBoard".
BlingBoard lets you monitor your emails, Facebook/Twitter feeds and your text messages (also missed calls) all from one little box on your homescreen.
So if you are looking for that kind of widget you should give it a try.
there are good reviews on "TNW" and on "Androidcommunity"

Themes are not sticking when changed for me.

I'm getting a error when I try to download it.

This is a great idear! Here are some suggestions from me:
more widget sizes: I would like to see more content
set another App as standard Facbook/Twitter app (Friendcaster f.e.)
possibility to set if the different channels are split in tabs or sort in a timeline (from top to bottom)
also see old Mails (I can only see the new ones)
So, thank you very much for this great app and your hard work! This are only suggestions and you can ignore it. Just my thoughts...

Not compatible with Galaxy Tab 10.1
But awesome looking widget, great colors and graphics.

Widget installed fine and all feeds state active in settings but widget shows no feed information.

Just some feature requests:
1) Make it resizable (as requested previously)
2) Make the tabs SCROLLABLE (like Tabr)
3) Make it able to link to native apps (as also requested previously)
4) Need more themes. Perhaps you can support a freemium model via themes

Very nice, thank you, I finally uninstalled facebook and twitter application. Widget needs more settings. I would also like more tabs, like another email and rss. Furthermore, having calendar and weather tab would make this widget the ultimate one

is SMS tab only for stock SMS app ? .. i use gosms and new sms are not being recognized .. but overall .. an awesome app.

Just let me link it to any app that i prefer then this would be gold. This and fast facebook go well together, if it can be linked.

I am having no luck getting this to work. Gmail says it connects fine but I do not see any data. Facebook just hangs and Twitter also bombs out on both my tablet and phone.
It also seems to really hate Landscape mode and is dying when I use my keyboard on the phone.
Think I will stick with Pure Messenger Widget for now. No tabs but it does get me the info I want on one widget.

tried this out and quickly deleted it after realizing:
1. you cannot re-size the widget
2. the widget is super small and only shows 1 update at a time
3. not a super big deal but no g+
4. you can't make new posts
It does look nice but looks only get you so far

Very Cool!
Whatsapp and stock mail support would be a dream... as well more widget sizes would be a fine thing!

Hello Guys !!!
I know there has been many mods for Facebook Home port. for example like This One.
But that might not be working for some guys as well.
Anyway Let cut to the chase here.
Team Modaco has done an excellent mod and it even works in devices like Galaxy 3(Apollo), Xperia Neo, etc etc.(Tried & Tested).
Instructions
• Download all Three APK files.
• Uninstall original facebook, facebook messenger and facebook home apps. If facebook is pre-installed then you probably need root to remove it
• Install all three apps.
• Enable facebook home under facebook app settings.

[Q] How to edit/modify apps

i really hate some UI of some apps. like instagram and whatsapp. I would like to edit instagram to look more like the iPhone instagram (as in the bar containing home, explore, me, etc.) to have the iPhone icons
and same with whatsapp to edit the chat bubbles so theyd look like the iPhone aswell. so that means I will have to get both apks and both ipas but how do I actually edit the app itself?

U have to decompile the apk using apktool and it's simple if u want just the icon replacements, then have to recompile back. Else u have to edit smali codes for other adjustments in the UI.
Search for it and learn.

Try apktool to baksmali the apk, do some modifications, then smali to apk again.
If you only wanna different UI, change the icons in res/ direcotry.

Facebook Lockscreen
I actually found this activity on accident while developing my Launcher for the HTC M8 and figured i'd make a small app out of it.
Set Facebook Lock is a small application that allows a backdoor to use the Facebook Home's lockscreen without the need of the actual Home application and allows any device to use it bypassing Facebook's device detection. (I do not actually know if it works for all devices but worth a shot)

Awesome app mate, love it so much that bought ad free version...
2 suggestions though:
- Make arrows on top bar smaller and plain should blend better with material ui... It seems a bit off to my eyes.
- Make refresh button movable and excludable (is that even a word?) like Facebook chat heads, because it gets in the way,and going to menu and enabling/disabling it is a bit troublesome, therefore moving it somewhere else as needed seems easier... You could even make it hide like halo from paranoid

Il take this into consideration! This is what i like to here.
I agree on icons as basically their place holders for now, need to make it more material like. Need to make a material style for kitkat users. Floating Action Button was an experimental thing. I didnt know how people would react to it at first but its one of the things that make this webapp unique.

Cool! I quite like the floating refresh button, if you make it movable, it would be perfect!
Maybe add a full screen option?

This app is amazing, I'm really hate the official Facebook app and Fellow is perfect for me.
Just a few kilobytes, and a million times better than the official app, great work!
The only thing that bothers me is the loading bar (Image at attachments), If you can place it a little higher it will be awesome.

Gonna be working on an update soon and taking everyone's feedback into consideration. I will be adding a more material feel to this as well as transparency options for kitkat+ users.

Android 8 Oreo Gallery

Hello,
I recently flashed Android Oreo on my OnePlus One (LineageOS 15) and I noticed that the gallery built-in app looks like the Android 5 one. It really lacks in design which surprised me. I installed open gapps and everything and just wanted to ask if the built-in gallery app is supposed to be Google Photos for ANdroid 8? I really don't like the layout of Google Photos and to be honest the built-in gallery is extremely fast. I tried different gallery apps like Simple Gallery or Piktures which have stunning design and layout but still... built-in gallery is super fast at loading photos.. Yes, even faster than Google Photos.
If I am missing something can you please link me to an apk of the Android Oreo gallery? If what I have now is the actual gallery.. well shame on you android 8.. there is literally no design to it.. it's like the only app that feels like has been left behind.. Phone, contacts, messages and all the rest of built-in apps have an updated material-design and all... except the gallery.

I don't want to have Google Photos to replace the built-in gallery. I don't like Google Photos cos built-in gallery is better and faster.. just lacks in design and I was wondering if it is the correct gallery and just stayed outdated..
Is google photos supposed to replace it? Is that why they don't update it anymore?
