I already try but always error.
I use nova launcher. It can generate this error?
Please explain what exactly you tried and what error you got.
I found reports in forums from other users who solved same issue by reflashing ROM or doing factory reset (wipe data) and then reflashing.
[Solved]
I flash 01/04 version and 50 kernel and then phone start correctly.
Runtime is stay switched to ART.
.
I wonder why reflash the ROM doesn't work but it can be worked by update...

Hello everyone. My EVO lets me download ROMs but when I flash them on my phone it keeps re-doing the loading screen. I've used cyanogen mods 7.2,7.1,and 7.0 (all stable releases),Savaged- Zen, Fresh, OMJ, Myn, Salvage-Mod. I am using SOS(Swagged Out Stock) and I can't download any new ROMs I've restored my phone and it still wouldn't let me. Sometimes I can't even download any applications from the Market and some that I can they don't work. I just wanted to download Cyanogen Mod 7.2. Can someone please help?
Have you tried doing clean installs (format all partitions and factory reset before flashing a new rom)? You could also wipe the dalvik cache after flashing.
Yeah I have whipped dalvik cache and factory reset it and it doesn't work

Try reflashing the stock rom via fastboot and starting over.
Alright thanks for the help btw.
i had it s-off with moonshine
and after updating to this rom
ROM: BOOST_htc-k2_cl-jellybeanOTA4_1_2-20130712-simon.zip
mobile keeps restarting
i tried to get back to the one installed before
matlevo 12 but no use
even flashed it with the boot.img inside its zip
tried so many roms with different recoveries and again the same problem

In CWM are you wiping data/factory, cache, delvik cache before flashing? And fixing permissions after flash.
Yes I did

Hi all,
My nexus 5 is stuck on the boot animation after a normal reboot.
I was not doing anything ROM related.
I'm in 4.4.2, rooted, TWRP and with faux kernel. But all this stuff has been working flawesly the last weeks. No relevant changes in the last days.
Last thing I did, was upgrading some xposed modules: gravitybox and others.
Just reboot to enable new versions downloaded and the phone is stuck in the boot animation.
I know that probably doing a factory reset/wipe data will solve my problem, but it has been two weeks from my last backup and I don't want to lose my last tasker stuff..... As adb is working maybe I could copy some data to the PC...
I attach my logcat, and maybe someone has any idea on the problem or howto to extract latest tasker data...
Did you change to ART instead of Dalvik because ART does not work with xposed and probably never will (per xposed announcement).
Factory reset is probably best option, or you could possibly dirty flash your ROM file again.

Didnt xposed create a Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip when you installed it? If so, try flashing it.
just in case :good:
Flashed the zip, xposed is now disabled but the phone is still stuck on the boot animation.
I have also flashed the stock kernel just in case....
I didn't reboot in the last week so it can be any changes I make during this period...
Any guide/advice for understanding a logcat?
Fastboot erase cache. Try this entry in USB-connected fastboot.

Now that xposed is disabled what about factory reset/wiping cache and dalvik now?

Thanks to the guys at the tasker forum, I was able to recover some important data before the wipe.
I also pull all /data/data which was useful for example to recover my google authenticator configuration....
As expected, a factory reset was the solution.
Thanks guys for your ideas
Hi all...
I tried to upgrade by Tab 2 7" to KitKat today and failed. I installed Clockworkmod successfully, but then started getting error 7's. I discovered this was because it was outdated. I've tried to install updated clockwork mod which it says has been successful - but doesn't change the original.
I did a backup of my original rom, but this has failed to reinstall. I've tried to put an old version of cyanogen on it, which also has failed, and re-downloaded the stock rom from samsfirmware which passes through ODIN, resets but then the tab 2 hangs on the Samsung screen - flashing.
I can't seem to resolve it.
Has anyone got any ideas? I can't access anything other than clockworkmod - so if you think you know of a way I can successfully upgrade it I may stand half a chance.....
Thanks
Tim

Use Odin to restore to the stock ROM. Download the stock rom from samfirmware.com and flash it in Odin as PDA. Then, use the latest recovery (either TWRP, CWM, OR PhilZ) from @Android-Andi's recovery thread in the Dev section. You should now be able to flash any ROM you want to. Make sure you do a backup and a wipe system, cache, Dalvik, data, and android secure (if it's an option.)

thanks and....
Thanks so much, does it matter that it won't boot with the stock Roma which I've installed from sams? Will the recovery program still work?

Yes, I did twice and it's still hung after apparent success installation according to Odin. I've tried it twice.
No success
Thanks
What I've done tonight is reflashed the original Rom - this time it blew away Clockworkmod. It still wouldn't boot. I then put a recovery solution on from your link, which has flashed well. However I've then tried three ROMS and each have hung after installation on the initial boot.
I'll try them again tomorrow night - but do you have any idea why three ROMS plus the stock keep failing?
Thanks
Tim

Did you wipe system, cache, Dalvik cache, and data before flashing and wipe cache and dalvik after flashing? And your tablet will bootloop after a reinstallation in Odin because Odin does not wipe before installation. After flashing in Odin, reboot recovery (make sure tablet is unplugged,) and wipe data, cache, and dalvik cache. Reboot and you should be good to go.

good idea but still no success....

Hi, I've retried all that this morning-i must admit that I didn't know about wiping cache after install, however it's not made any difference, and still hangs on first boot...
Any other ideas? Thanks for all your help.
Happy success
Hi all
Thanks for all your help, especially rcj! I have managed to recover my device using cynagodmod 9 - it wont run 10 or 11 but at least its up and working - even if it's a downgrade from the Android version I was on Really don't care as I can use it again with a lot more memory.
Thanks - without you I would never have found Phils ROM which enabled me to get this far.

Which version of PhilZ? And I have found that TWRP 2.7.1.0 works better than other versions for KK.
Sent from my SGH-T989
Use latest Philz touch recovery. And use the rom and gapps compatible to your tab. Don't forget to reset to factory setting, clear cache and wipe dalvic cache before flashing the rom and gapps ☺
