I'm surprised this hasn't cropped up already.
I've installed the Skygo Tablet app onto a Zoostorm 3305-1030. When I open the app I cannot stream as I get an error message that Sky do not stream to Rooted devices. The Tablet is new and has not been rooted. I ran a Root checker and that says its not rooted. I've contacted Zoostorm and they say the Skygo app should work. Trawling through the net I've found its a common issue. Sky gave a solution, running SuperSU and click Unroot and reboot. That doesn't work.
One user on the Sky Forums says that the device is not rooted but as it has a RockChip RK3066 CPU you have Superuser access as a standard default and thus the SkyGoTablet app is picking this up and not allowing the tablet to run.
Any help would be most welcome
Thanks in advance

I'm wondering if there is an easy way to watch my downloaded Flixster (Ultraviolet) movie on my rooted P-3113. I'm getting an error that I can't play it because I'm using a rooted device. I searched and found some people saying to use SuperSU or OTA Root Keeper, but all these apps did was unroot me, but then Flixster still wouldn't let me play the movies. Any other ideas? I'm hoping for something simple.

I recently got an android capacitive 4.1 Jelly Bean 7-inch and I wanted to root it to get the most out of the product, because I run a youtube channel, and I want to screen record. But I got a rather odd message, and about every forum I read doesn't go into detail about the message witch reads. "Your device seems not vulnerable to exploit included in Framaroot." I already am prepared to delete it. But I want to know why it shows that, and why I must delete the app, also if I can still root my device with Framaroot if not then, I would like some info on other ways to root besides Z4root and Framaroot that are as simple as them.

Hey guys - I just went to best buy and ended up buying 3 of the Digiland 10.1 Tablets they had on sale for $70. Going to give them to my nieces for X-Mas (ages 11, 13,14). Dose anyone know how to root this device and install Android 5.0 Lollipop ?
I'd like to update these 3 before i give it to them. Thanks!
Bump, I am also using the digiland 10.1 from best buy... Successfully rooted, but looking for the best way to install custom rom without bricking? Thanks in advance.

I used root genius on Windows and it worked very easily... Hoping for custom recovery but I'm only intermediate with these things so I'm not sure where to go from here.
I bought one of these from best buy and would be very interested in all info available on rooting, custom recovery, and compatible roms for this device. I registered just for this thread. lol.

I rooted with the root genius for windows. Super easy took about 20 mins. Make sure you use the download from shuame.com though. Follow the directions
review?
Since you guys are using tablet.. What's your thoughts of it so far?
I'm sure someone on her knows of a rom to use.
That site is in what appears to be chinese, even translated its...hard to tell what is going on. No worries the thing doesnt even get here till the 11th of Dec.
Ummm what?
the site he listed, its in chinese
but regardless many reviews on bestbuy are saying it comes rooted anyway.

So did anyone get a custom rom working yet?
So far I like the quality of the tablet. I also brought three tablets one being the Digiland for myself and it is a very nice tablet. I just rooted mines as well through Root Genius. It's already on 4.4 so going from kitkat to lollipop isn't a huge deal to me. I'm using Buzz Menu as my home launcher and I Really like it! One of the biggest things I look to find in a rom for this device is multi-window.
Windows XP drivers help
I'm really liking this tablet as well.
I've been trying to root it with Root Genius as well, but unfortunately I've come across a road block.
I'm using a windows xp computer and I can't seem to find any driver for the tablet when you insert it in dev mode into the PC.
It asks for "MT65xx android" drivers and despite hours of searching on the net yesterday, all the drivers I have found online get rejected during the install driver process. I point the driver install to the right folder with the unzipped XP drivers, then it just fails and states it hasn't found matching drivers in there... I tried and found like 10+ websites with no luck.
Has anyone rooted it through a Windows XP computer? If someone could help me find the right matching drivers, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks, I'm happy to hear people like this tablet, since I'm giving them as gifts.
"MT65xx Android Phone" driver
It turns out that most of the drivers I was trying must have been "MT65xx Preloader" drivers (the driver that is required when connecting the tablet when it is turned off).
Could anyone who has successfully rooted theirs point me towards a valid "MT65xx Android Phone" driver for Windows XP? That seems to be the name of the driver required when the device is turned on and with usb debugging turned on (the state required for Root Genius to work). Google hasn't returned a valid one for me yet since most sites tend to get the "preloader" and "android phone" drivers mixed up or poorly labeled, it seems that all the ones I found fall in the earlier category.
Rooted
ok so I have the thing rooted with root genius. Still looking for a rom, I have also noticed that this device seems to have a 2Gb partition and then the rest of the 16Gb in another partition. Is there a way to repartition this? Im a PC tech but very new to android. This site has been very informative so far.
I have rooted and downloaded the Original ROM for the DigiLand 10.1 running 4.4.2. I am currently attempting to load Lollipop on the system.
Can you please post the link to the original ROM, I have thus far been unable to find it.
Thanks
My first one did the wireless update after Rooting with root genius and bricked. Probably just bad download. Got replacement and updated and rooted, but having to use kinguser because of the issues supersu has with access to root from SD. Flawed for some mtk devices I have found. Lucky patcher and titanium backup won't work properly with supersu. Does anyone know if superuser has the same problem?
Im getting the above named tablet in 2 days from amazon. I cant find any solid information about rooting this device. Does anyone know if it can be done and/or how to do this? I was going to just try kingo root on it when I got it but any info you can give me would be appreciated.

Yep, that worked
..
I'm sorry I open this up again but I don't think I need an extra thread for this.
May I ask if you used the pc version of kingroot to root it or the apk file?
May I ask for the download link aswell if its the apk to compare it?
I have the fusion5 108 myself with android 6.0.1 and both versions don't seem to work.
Pc gives me this (chinese) popup telling me (as far as I can tell) to accept the connection on the tablet, but nothing pops up.
3rd party tools/apps and usb debugging are both enabled
The apk app seems to be in a loop while "checking" for over 30min now.
EDIT: Feel stupid coz I didn't read properly. I just realized you are using android 5.1.
Anyway, any possible advice for me?
Any help is appreciated
EDIT2: So my particular problem is that the device is not asking to allow the pc connection.
Working on it now. I don't see the option to revoke USB debugging authorization in the developer options. Will see how to find it on android 6.
Just try kingroot .apk on it. That should work. No promises ?

Anyone have any joy? I heard king root and kingo worked on this device running Android 5 but mine is running Android 6 and I have tried all methods in can think of to root it to no avail.
I am trying to root the same device. Fusion5 108 10.6 android 5.1 lollipop
Tried kingoroot, it kept locking up.
Tried kingroot and it gets near the end and locks up.
When I reboot it seems to continue where it left off but then fails.
My question is when using kingroot and it seems to lock up at the end,
how much time should I give it before I decide it's locked up?
? Maybe 10 min. Give it 20 just to be sure.

anyone get this rooted yet, got same tablet on 6.0.1 got no luck getting the RSA to come up as well.
cheers
Any luck
Anyone have any luck rooting the 6.0.1 version yet?
Stock rom anyone?
Anyone know where I can get the stock ROM for Fusion5 108 tablet? Can't find it anywhere, and the only compatible ROMs I've found for another brand of tablet is Android 4.4 and 5.1, and they result in a reversed x-axis on the touchscreen and the full size USB port is not recognized. I know I am off-topic, but Fusion5 considers letting me download the ROM to flash it myself "warranty service" even though I would be doing all the work, so I'm kinda desperate..
I picked up a 12.2 inch 2 in 1 Android tablet from Wal-Mart with a brand name of Pro12 with a model number of ct9223w97. It came with Android 6.0. I can boot into fastboot. Developer options are enabled. I have rooted many devices. I'm just waiting to see if the note 7 through T-Mobile is ever able to be rooted. I know a spring debug version is out but I'd rather wait. In the mean time I'd like to figure out a way to root the tablet. There is an app I use that I need root for.
Thank you so much in advance!

any luck getting this thing rooted?
I am very pleased to know that I am not the only person that wants to root this device. The main reason that I would like to root this tablet is to change the dpi and resolution. I have tried running Antutu Benchmark and King Root at the same time as this method has worked on previous android devices in the past but there was no success. For those that were not aware The Pro12 and the RCA Pro 12 are produced by the same Manufacture which I believe is Alco Electronics. The only difference between the two is that The Pro12 is 64GB and the RCA Pro 12 is 32Gb in storage capacity. Otherwise the form factor and hardware specifications are the exact same. The keyboards are interchangeable between the two. Where I am going with this is that if someone manages to root the RCA Pro 12 it should also work on this tablet so be on the lookout. There are some untested root methods I have been looking into but I am so busy. They have been posted below if anyone has the time to consider attempting a root. I feel confident about root method 3 since its focused on rooting Mediatek devices which is the processor make of this tablet.
Also, I am unaware if these untested root methods will install a root admin other than Su or Supersu.

Did you install many apps that are running in the background?
I would honestly run factory reset or look into this task manager app.

I kept it lean, I don't think anything is running that didn't come with, but I'll check, and check that app. Thanks

I've tried all of these. Sadly, none of them work. I'm curious how hard it is to do this on my own. I would have no idea where to begin. Or can we request this somewhere?

There is a root that has been successful on this forum for the RCA Maven Pro. Maybe we can request for some help with this since its kinda similar and they have already developed a rom for it. They might have more experience.
Any luck here?

I am still trying. I was attempting to gain ADB access but was unable to get the drivers detected when connecting to the PC via USB. I have been on top of King Root and Kingo Root updates and still nothing. I even tried running benchmarks simultaneously running King Root which has worked in the past with other devices that use Mediatek hardware but I had no luck. Alcatel Fierce 2 Root " https://androidforums.com/threads/root-for-fierce-2.875644/page-45 ". Still searching for an exploit. I think our chance of cracking it is by USB to PC at this point. We need some working ADB Drivers. Im always so busy. Can someone try these and see if it detects the Pro 12.
https://adb.clockworkmod.com/
The Site below list 5 PC applications to root by USB. We can try these once we have a working set of ADB drivers. If anyone knows of some more software we can try please post.

SRS *said* mine was rooted but it did not root. Never installed superuser. Got into it with ADB but can't unlock the bootloader due to the fact that the volume controls won't work to select anything.
