I'm wondering if there is an easy way to watch my downloaded Flixster (Ultraviolet) movie on my rooted P-3113. I'm getting an error that I can't play it because I'm using a rooted device. I searched and found some people saying to use SuperSU or OTA Root Keeper, but all these apps did was unroot me, but then Flixster still wouldn't let me play the movies. Any other ideas? I'm hoping for something simple.

I have a Pantech Burst P9070. I didnt really see a thread for my phone so i'm posting here... sorry if it's in the wrong place, kinda new. I've been trying to install the cracked google play by Chelplus. Im using the installer but everytime i open it and allow root access it gives me the screen i posted here. Anyone know why it's happening, and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
Looks to me like you need to root your phone. Check the device forum for how-to's
That's the thing.. it is rooted, you can see on the bottom where it says superuser granted the permission. I even used rootchecker to be sure of it.
interesting. my guess is if that is true it is the cracked google play getting an error. id wait for an update.
I'm surprised this hasn't cropped up already.
I've installed the Skygo Tablet app onto a Zoostorm 3305-1030. When I open the app I cannot stream as I get an error message that Sky do not stream to Rooted devices. The Tablet is new and has not been rooted. I ran a Root checker and that says its not rooted. I've contacted Zoostorm and they say the Skygo app should work. Trawling through the net I've found its a common issue. Sky gave a solution, running SuperSU and click Unroot and reboot. That doesn't work.
One user on the Sky Forums says that the device is not rooted but as it has a RockChip RK3066 CPU you have Superuser access as a standard default and thus the SkyGoTablet app is picking this up and not allowing the tablet to run.
Any help would be most welcome
Thanks in advance

anyone got any update on this yet
I have a Linsay F-10xhd tab and have been searching everywhere on the net for a way to root this device. I have tried every 1 click method out there and they weren't able to root it. If anyone here has rooted a Linsay device can you point me in the right direction. I have a bunch of preloaded apps I would love to get rid of.
Didi some digging
And read that my drivers were not working properly with Vroot and Kingroot. So I uninstalled my drivers for this device and reinstalled then using PDA.net. Then I ran it through Vroot. After it did its thing it said it was successful rooted. Checked with root checker from playstore and it said it wasn't rooted
So I tried it again with kingroot but when it was finished connecting it said it was rooted and if I wanted to "unroot" or "root again"
That's as far as I've gotten. I didn't want to go further for fear of bricking my tablet.
I also downloaded Supersu, Busybox, and twrp and wasn't able to do anything cause they also said the device wasn't rooted. Anybody know why Vroot and Kingroot would say I'm rooted but these other apps are saying otherwise?
After days of trying to get this thing rooted, I figured out what went wrong. I deleted the kinguser app that comes with Kingroot when rooting. I downloaded the kinguser apk, installed it and got root permission!
So if you have a Linsay F-10XHD tablet, you have to use the kingroot method to root it. I'm still debating if I should replace kinguser with supersu. Don't see any real difference between the two. I might just keep kinguser
Sent from my F-10XHD using XDA Free mobile app
Hope this method works for me just got tablet for free today going to try later hope I don't run into issues now
Kingroot worked beautifully no problems here
Hi folks!
First of all, I am a total beginner at this root/custom-modding stuff so please bear with me. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (SGH-1497), and I managed to root it myself - Afterwards, I checked with Root Checker and got a positive result. The main reason I wanted to root was because the official update on this thing only goes up to Android 4.1.2, and I was hoping to get lollipop on there. After much searching I think I found a rom which would work for my tablet.. I downloaded ROM Manager and found I needed to install "a custom recovery like ClockworkMod" and here's the problem! I click on "ClockworkMod Recovery" under "Install or update recovery" and it gives me a list of devices, telling me to pick one. Trouble is, my device isn't listed! Is there a better tool to use? I downloaded Cyanogenmod's express install thing and it said my device wasn't supported. Now I've already seen several youtube vids with my tablet running Android 5.0 and above, so I have to assume I'm doing something wrong. If anyone can help, I'd be very grateful! Thanks.

The problem is your bad luck, no lollipop rom is made for your tablet, the reason you have seem so many videos on YouTube is that they are the p5100/p5110 tablets, yours is the SGH-1497, so it's your bad luck

Damn, that IS some bad luck! I wonder what the point of rooting this thing is then? I can delete some bloatware.. Not that big a deal. Here's a question - Now that I have root, can I install games to the sd card instead of the device storage? That might make it useful..

Yeah you can do that especially if you are still on jelly bean, go to play store, install link2sd and watch some videos on YouTube on how to use it, I never used it actually, and though it was bad luck it could have been even worse if you bricked it by flashing some incompatible recovery, so you are actually lucky.

I appreciate your help.. Cheers!
I have read the other threads numerous times, and for the life of me can't get this phone rooted.
It is the D651 version and it's running Lollipop from an OTA update.
I tried rooting before allowing the update, but couldn't get that to work, so I decided to go ahead and update to lollipop thinking that would solve my problem
NOT!
I've tried KingoApp---FAILED
iRoot----FAILED, both phone version and computer version
Towelroot----FAILED
Does ANYONE have any suggestions?
I downloaded MTK Engineering, and went into MTK Settings/Log and Debugging/User2Root/Root
but that didn't seem to do anything either.....not sure why I even did that other than reading in one of the other threads to go into engineering mode and allow root.....I'm assuming that's what this means?
I am really getting frustrated by this...please, if anyone can offer any tips/tricks/or insight on what I am doing wrong, it would be greatly appreciated.....
Try Kingroot
First excuse my English but I'm using google , you need to download Aptoide ( which is an alternative app store ) from Aptoide you write browser and then install it , and looking for the KIGROOT installed application to appear clicking on the ' look at other stores " there will KINGROOT appear with an icon of lightning , is in Chinese , click on the icon and wait until the middle of root, then check with root checker , you then recommend to be root to delete the store of Aptoide.
Install a kind of SU called Kinguser , I install CWM or Philz , when I have you posting like . good Luck

Hello Buddy i just got this phone and the 1st thing i did was update it because it was on kk know it is lolypop and i used kingo root method and workede like a charm. it also gave me kinguser and purify..
Yeah, I managed to get it to work also.
Then went so far as removing Kinguser and replaced it with SuperUser.
Caused a bunch of problems in doing so, but managed to get everything in working order......to an extent.
Now, no matter how many times I try, I can not unroot or return to factory settings.
Even wiping the phone and flashing stock/recovery doesn't seem to work.
I've been trying to 'wipe' the phone and return it to out of the box status several times but.....no joy.
I'm going on a huntch
Means this is mtek phone
Thinking back to moto g the xt we had to get a unlock code from Motorola and use the n send this extra long key by email to moto for exchange of an unlock code.
Anyone think maybe same rule might apply?? Just guessing cause I want to see this thing unlocked an going cause this audio is really weak on my end and the touch screen is the pits when typing its like 50 x then it types the letter
I noticed after I used king root everything I changed started to go back to the way it was n or disappeared.
Kingroot seemed to work
Seems to work only for awhile until you start trying to make heavy system changesit starts to bugger up. I got that same page its in my opinion a temporary exploit method.
