Hello,
is possible on ICS to change mount order so no SD card is mounted until Internal Storage is ? Or that applications are not loaded until Internal Storage is mounted ?
It can done with cwm…
Just unmount the sd card…
And again when you like to use it… mount it…

well..the thing is that i have device with internal memory, internal storage and also SD card. Problem is that the SD card is mount before internal storage and all apps ive installed before restart do disappear and there are just icons on which when i click nothing happens. Thats the reason i would like to change the order but no idea where..

This may seem like a ridiculously noobish question but I can't find the external SD partition in any file manager. I'm rooted and neither root explorer or astro shows any partition for the external card. I just placed a 32gb micro SD in there and the /SD folder refers to the internal 12 GB of storage. What am I missing here?

It would be under /sdcard/external_sd in root explorer.
/sdcard/external_sd

You won't loose the operating system. The Android system is not in the internal SD card, it has it's own place outside of the internal SD card.
Just be sure you keep a backup of the DCIM folder and whatever else you want to keep.
I'm rooted and use cwm. Why when I try to back -up my phone to my external SD card it says can't mount external. It only lets me back -up to my internal . I didn't know if there was something I'm missing or what. Thanks

If your external is not formatted to fat 32 then thats the problem.
I'm getting this message when I try to move apps to my SD card. The device dies not have a real primary external storage or the primary external storage is emulated.
I downloaded the OI File Manager and when I click on storage there is a link at the top that says emulated when I click on emulated it shows a pic of my SD card and beside it it says zero. How can I fix this issue? I'm running orca-nightly-i605jota-20130328. Build-JDQ39 kernel 3.0.64cm g8823489 4.2.2 base i605vrall4

I've just updated my Motorola Moto E 2015 to Android 6 and tested the adoptable storage. Sadly it is only possible to move apps to the sd card if the card is formatted as an internal storage device. In this mode the sd card cannot be read from another computer and the twrp recovery cannot use the card to store backups. Also when the phones encryption key is lost there is no way to recover the data.
Is there maybe some way to move the apps to the sd card without encrypting the sd card? My phone is rooted and I also have the Xposed framework installed, but I didn't find any guide for something like this.
Did u try an app called "Move app to SD card"?

I've tried the app, but it tells me that moving apps is not necessary because the sd card shares the drive with the operating system. But that is not true. I have the internal drive under /storage/emulated/0 and the sd card under /storage/sdcard1. How can I fix that?

I'm not sure, I don't have the device but my friend does. You might have to do it manually through root explorer or another file manager.
