Didn't work for me, because it requires a dedicated driver and dialer, both of which were missing from the device....if you happen to succeed, then do tell me how you managed to do it.

hello everyone i am using tmobile sda and recently upgraded to wm6 but cant seem to use it in computer as a modem. i cant find anywhere a driver to use with data cable. please help. i dont want bluetooth. thanks.

It's either bluetooth or USB. Look for an icon in your phone that says Internet Sharing. Select that to be USB, hit connect, and there will be a network connection started on your PC.
is there anyway acer iconia apps ( not only browser ) can connect to internet ? and if it does, can the internet help the GPS to find more accurate location ?Thx
i m using huwaei usb 3g modem and i get Hspda network on the go by poppin in the sim - Browser, ALL apps And even GPS works flawlessly- Custom roms have huwaei dongle support- just order one online from the supported list- turn off tablet, plug in modem with sim, turn on setup apn and ur good to go

i dnt knw it is the right place to post my query...
guyz when i tried to connect ma phn to pc using usb cable my touch didn't respond...and phn hangs..cant do any task...but when i disconect from pc touch works smmothly...
pls help me guyzz

It happens because your house is not grounded.so connect ur phone in laptop or with proper adapter...hope it works

yes you are right SKadhithya,the problem is with Earthing or Improper fluctuating current.
Use green wire in PC,it will Solve the issue.
It is due to the improper voltage and ampere that cable is giving in yout phone. If your phone is getting lower ampere current than desired, then there is a static build in the phone which hampers eith the working of phone (abrupt screen behavior). Higher ampere going in your phone risks of destroying your battery over a time frame. So better you use the recommended chargers and cables.

USB reverse tethering only works on rooted android phone. You need to root your android to do so.

use pda on pc and phone both
turn on usb debugging
and enjoy internet via usb cable

my laptop got internet via wifi, so the only way to share to phone is using usb cable.
Now using htc 10 nougat rooted, only have usb tethering. my old htc one m7 kitkat have the option usb internet (reverse tethering)

Why not just use PC to create a hotspot to broadcast WiFi then connect the android device to the WiFi connection.
Or
Try setting up a broadband connect on PC to connect your device via USB to that broadband connetion.

Not possible connect mtk phone to dfs ( dfs only working with qualcomm). This phone excellent work with ruim card !
