Do you have your drivers of samsung installed on your pc? When they aren't on you pc it could be that odin and adb fails or doesn't recognize your phone.

But i keep getting an error when i mount the sd card...whats the procedure to flash from external sd? about the drivers i have them all installed...

[Q] Bricked! Can't revert to stock or custom rom

So here's the problem. Just got my One S the other day and I attempted to install trickDroid on it. I got it rooted and unlocked and tried installing. Something went wrong somewhere along there and it wont boot up, only past the first screen and its all black after, i do hear the start up sound after a while but it stays black screen. So i tried to revert it back to stock and during the process I though I had to erase/reset data, so i did that. Only then did i realize that everything was on internal memory and it did not have an external sd card. So I cant install anything without transfering the files from my PC. I tried different versions of clockwork by fastbooting it because i heard it connect to pc automatically. But i end up with an I drive I cant access(insert disk in to I) or on the phone its says something about "unable to open ums lunfile htc one s" I also tried the all in one tool and the latest version doesnt have stock recovery. So the main problem is I can't transfer files on to the phone to reinstall any ROMs and I cant revert back to stock. I tried adb push to push the files on to the device but im not exactly sure how to do it. I am thankful for any help anyone can provide me.

ya i can, i can fastboot various recoveries too
the problem is still i cant mount the sd card so i cant transfer anything
adb push "rom.zip" /sdcard give the following " error device not found" even tho if i type "fastboot devices" it shows that my device is connected
Do you have a back up ......or is your sd completely empty now .. I'm not sure I can really help .. but that doesn't mean your out of luck .....
Another idea is your int sd mounted ?

thanks! I used the guide but I couldnt find all in one tool with stock since its being updated so i downloaded it from
but then i ran into the problem where it would not let me adb push, saying "protocol failed"
I did some research and found out that the adb.exe from htc sync has being interfering with the process.
I went to taskmanager and stopped the adb.exe process which then enabled me to adb push
After i loaded utb rom, but it kept popping up with errors so I installed MIUI which i find to be relatively stable.
Now Im chilling and enjoying my android!
Thanks to everyone for the help!

Frustrated Guy !HELP !

Hello everyone ! I will try to explain my problem as clear as possible, hope it will be solved.
-Samsung galaxy GTi-9300, this was rooted few months ago.
-It was working fine until I uninstalled touchwiz using Nobloat app. Now, nothing besides SAMSUNG appears in the dark screen. I am not able to do anything or see anything else.
-Being smart, I connected phone with pc and opened kies , but pc/kies do not recoginise the device.
-Then tried to unroot the device, where I failed again.
So, my question is how I can install touchwiz in this case? Or any other soloution ?
ps: (there is no micro SD card in device, no back up etc )
Great thanks in advance !
Was your usb debugging turned on? or do you have a custom recovery like clockworkmod or twrp? then you can install a launcher.

I guess it wasn't turned on and custom recovery you mentioned were not installed. But there was Titanium backup installed, if that helps ??
So if you put the device in download mode, does ODIN recognize it? If so, you should be able to restore to stock from there. Your data may be lost though if you are unable to obtain files from the internal storage.

Major issue... Help required

Hi All
just decided to start and reuse my desire s but hit a snag...
It will not boot..
Booted into recovery (twrp 2.8.7.1) and says no os... Thought no problem will download and copy to sd card. did that and then discovered that Twrp didn't see the sd card so tried 6 different ones(all working in other devices). Still no joy!!!! Ok so I thought I would flash a different recovery nope not happening the PC and laptop does NOT recognise it when in bootloader! Yet it can be seen when in recovery(can't copy to it thought)..
I am now at a loss as to what happen or what to do next as trying an RUU.exe fails as it requires a BOOTED phone!
Any ideas and help would be most welcome right now.
thank you
regards
Lohtse

This forum's header is "General Questions and Answers" and you got a well-meant answer by me. You should have asked for help in forum "Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting", IMO.

Can you still boot into TWRP?
Can you still boot into the ROM that you had installed?
When you say you can't see your sdcard in TWRP, do you mean that you can't see internal sdcard or that you can't see external sdcard?
I'm pretty familiar with the S2 so I can probably help you if it is solvable.

Have you gone to "Mount" in the main menu of TWRP and mounted your SD card? I believe it will be called USB-OTG. After that, go to "Install" and tap "Change Storage Device" and select "USB-OTG".
Disclaimer: I haven't messed with the S2 in a very long time, so my apologies if I'm incorrect.

Can you still boot into TWRP? Can you connect to adb while in TWRP? If you can get adb connected while in TWRP, try using adb commands to push your ROM file to internal storage, TWRP should see it then.
