I have been facing this issue for a week now, firstly it was just one caller, and now every call i get shows unknown no. Idk what's wrong! Any help?
That could easily have to do with your service provider and nothing with phone itself. check with your service provider first.
Hmm..i did call them , they said wait for 24 hours.Let's see.Plus the call function is behaving weirdly,it won't accept call, the dialer won't show up and all! :/

In that case it is your phone that is the culprit. Restore it with Sonys PC software and let us know if that helps.

I don't think it's my phone's fault because i put the sim in my dad's phone and then also it didn't recognize the incoming caller's id :/ I just don't know what the hell is wrong!

Hey,
the only advice i can give you is to call the Police a phone and report it stolen if you havent already, then give your carrier a call and ask them the above.
Good luck.
Isn't the IEMI on the packaging that the device came in? Anyway, it may be too late but try this:

i've tried 3 sims with same result. checked network lock is off. really no idea what is going on

"last" option is always the service center. good luck
Maybe the physical contacts of your phone's SIM slot are the problem. Try removing your SIM card, take a screwdriver or something flat and gently lift the contacts by placing the flat bit under then and turning.
Hope you got what I meant, else just take it to a service center.

No. I remembered I had account with HTCSense.com and I locked it from there with pin number. So whoever turn it on it will ask him for the pin I put already on the site. I think this work with IMEI not sure.
Hello,
I'm on airtel carrier. I am running neo rom V2.1 (GB based) and trying to make a conference call between 3 parties including myself.
When i call 1st number and get connected, i use "Add call" to add another call.
After the 2nd call is added, i click on "Merge" option.. and i get the screen "unable to make conference calls" error.
I read in other forums that it is carrier specific? Has anyone experiencing this issue?
Solution/Fix: Call conferencing feature is network provider specific. If you find any issue with call conferencing, you may check with service provider. I was told that on vodafone and airtel networks, prepaid SIM's don't support call conferencing feature (not yet as per customer care exec).

Buddy were you able to make confrence calls earlier as in before using this rom ??
Because at times you have to ask your service provider to activate the value added services like call confrencing, call waiting and all
Might be a problem at airtels end too. Or you have to get it activated.
Call 198 and ask?

Thanks pal.. you are right.
But, i used to make conference calls from a different phone using the same sim card.
Now, after your post, i wanted to find out if any of my services was actually disabled, to my surprise, conf call facility was disabled for some reason.. . just now activated it. let me try a few calls and update.

Actually It happened due to sim changes. Happened with me. When you insert the SIM in any other mobile. It automatically send status to service provider. Then it stopped it. Also, you have seen in previous days, When u insert sim in other mobile then it gives you GPRS & MMS setting automatically.
This issue is fixed now. Added details in the OP so that if anyone has the issue, he/she can look into the solution/fix..
Thanks for your support folks..

Hi Deepankar,
Thanks for the info. But, when i called up vodafone bangalore and airtel bangalore.. (i talked in regional language.. !!) they said they are not supporting conf call facility on prepaid as of now. but they are planning to support in future..
If its supporting on your prepaid, its great.. let me know your region.. i will call them up again and tell them about your prepaid conf call availability to them.
i just searched in web..
http://www.vodafone.in/vas/callmanagement/pages/callconference.aspx
found the following disclaimer..
---
Service not available for Prepaid customers in AP, Kerala and Karnataka.
While most phones support Call Conference for up to 5 people, we would recommend you check with your phone manufacturer regarding details for your phone.

Hello, have call conference of galaxy wide(G600) ?
Not sure if this is a carrier thing or the device? I switched from AT&T to Verizon when this device came out. When on a call and a call comes in I place original call on hold and answer incoming call. If I then hang up on that call it hangs up on both people. Is there no call waiting?
Never had to tell someone they need to hang up so I can switch back to the other person on hold. Seems like either a bad carrier issue or bug? Never had CDMA carrier before so hopefully not an issue I'm stuck with?

This is a CDMA bug since it happens with Sprint as well. I was like you, I switched over from AT&T about 4 years ago. It absolutely drove me crazy for about a year until I just finally gave up and accepted it. I'm hoping that things will chnage when VoLTE becomes the standard:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

If you have Sprint dial *38 and/or *720 to restore your call waiting. And for other mobile companies ##21#. But you can read through and find the correct deactivation. The problem happens because somehow call forwarding was active. I think it happened for me when I used my sprint number as my Google Voice number.
