Hi Guys,
So somebody recently sold me a Lumia 820, it turned out to be a demo device, how do I get this to stock? there seems to various tutorials involving Nokia Care Suite, so I guess it's do-able, the trouble is, I can't seem to fathom out where I can download firmwares or which I would want if I could find them.
Can anyone help?

hey try this, got this trick to xshaftx. thanks.
!!!THIS WILL DELETE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PHONE ONCE COMPLETE!!!
phone->settings->about-> click on update demo phone.
when the pop-up screen comes up note that it says to update press yes or no. Now turn the phone to the right so it rotates to landscape. then rotate back to portait. now rotate to the left so the screen goes landscape and then rotate back to portait. You will notice it now says RESTORE DEMO DEVICE. this will erase all content blah blah click yes and wait for it to finish. Congrats retail demo mode is off your device!!!

I just bought a HTC Inpire4G that had been used before.
The model number is "HTC HD Desire A9191" and it seems that this phone has already been modified since I can't get 3G with 850/1900 bands.
I assume that this phone was flashed with the HTC Desire HD ROM which was designed to support the European bands 900/2100.
Am I correct? what should I do to get 3G on this phone or restore frequencies I need?

No, that's the actual hardware version of the Inspire. This won't change with different ROMs. You need to check
"About Phone" -> "Software Information" to see what ROM you have. The latest stock ROM shows up as 1.80.502.3. I think I have the stock radio which is (baseband version): 12.39.60.19P_26.06.04.06_M. I have a custom kernel so I don't know what the stock kernel version would show up as.

Looks like you've been rooted to the point of downgrading to the Desire HD ROM. Check your bootloader (power on while holding the VOL-DOWN key). See if you have (at the top) S-ON, S-OFF, or ENG S-OFF.

Dunno. Maybe someone in your local arab community can generate an imei with an emmc gadget, if that's even possible. I've seen tutorials for older Samsung phones on YouTube.

I have an LG K51 that's having some technical difficulties.
Boost Mobile LG K51 carrier unlocked, however I can't use text or make calls only use the internet if I put in any other SIM card. I believe it has to do with the software version. My question is can you flash it using a different region? Boost Mobile firmware for this phone seems to be MIA when searching the web.

Have not been able to get it to work. It comes up saying error crossflash mdh30lm to mdh30xlm.
And the file uppercut keeps coming back as a trojan file.
