Every time you make a setting, it stores it as data. It is unavoidable.
do you also have a nexus 5?

do you also have a nexus 5? do you also have my problem? can you give me some advise?
I have a nexus 5, yes.
The problem for me is I bought the 16 GB version and its not enough for me. The only advice for me (or from me) is to sell it and get the 32 GB version

Please give an example. I've got no idea what you're talking about

Oh I see.
It uses no more than other android phones. Look at what syncs and when and alter variables...

This isn't what you want to hear and in no way a solution but android phones use a lot of data. Limited plans are not ideal with android phones

Thanks to the genius that deleted my thread about fixing the phantom voicemail without an email or even moving it to another section, as I have seen done with so many other threads.
I would have thought fixing the phantom voicemail was a development issue, as its a problem in ever AOSP rom ive tested, and I was attempting to contribute to the solution.
But someone decided they were high and mighty instead...

This is probably the wrong way to go about this. You should probably try to find out why first...
Wow... cry much?

LOL U MAD. Also, that should have been in Q&A, not dev.
They probably deleted it BC your not actually contributing any "dev " work. Roms, kernals, ports etc usually go in the Dec section. Questions go in the general section.

Well if your post is deleted does it drop your post count?
If a post is deleted, it lowers your count. I've had it happen many times. :3
Send a message to the mod asking why it was deleted. That is a much better way to resolve the issue. Just my 2¢

I am said genius.
I deleted it as it was not a Development thread, and therefore should have been in Q&A. If you choose to post in the wrong forum, I wil delete the thread. I'm not here to run after you and move your posts.
If you have any further issues, please feel free to PM me.
I've tried almost all popular browsers and they all have the same result - web page can not be reached.
They work fine on other devices running anything other than 4.4 and work fine on my desktop.
Has anyone else had this problem or know what's going on with this?
Got any example URLs?

Chrome beta from where? Just downloaded from play store with same results, doesn't even look the same as yours
Should've checked my hosts file... Still interested in knowing which chrome beta you're using as mine looks like the regular chrome
works fine in the aosp browser as well..
I tried with my phone with "Stock Chrome" it function.
Maybe it´s a issue of your network?
Look two posts above. Already solved. Hosts file issue. Now I'm interested in which version of chrome beta rootSU is running, as it is completely different from the one I just downloaded from play store

Multithreading is typically an optimization technique to run cpu-intensive operations across additional cpu cores, reducing performance hits on useablity.
For me sadly this is a deal breaker for ROMs that don't have this, it' just something I LOVE to use especially for the sound toggles. I am running stock deodexd 4.4.2 right now and have all my customizations through gravity box. I know i can run a third party app to do this but i would like to do it through xposed if possible.

I don't know of an Xposed module that can do it. Power Toggles or GB's quick settings mod.
Gravitybox dev says if there is an app to do something, we should use it. Xposed shouldn't be used for all additional functions. Just those that cannot exist without modifying system

Seems that all the Apps that add this feature are forced to include an icon in the notification bar, which is a deal breaker for me. Definitely don't want some arbitrary icon taking up precious screen real estate.
There are modules to stuff in the status bar

I feel like this is a pretty basic question, but I've been unable to figure it out... Is there a way to get on-site notifications for when someone replies to a thread I've subscribed to? I get email notifications, but I'd much rather have them on site - currently I only get notifications if someone quotes or tags me.

Thanks for your quick response, but that still doesn't help. That is for changing how I receive email notifications, not on-site ones.

Hi asj0422
Thanks for your prompt answer
On site notifications are limited to the ones in the below image:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",

"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

There is no "Reply To Subscribed Thread" on-site notification. Only at your email.
You may keep an opened Tab with all subscribed threads with the below link
