Multithreading is typically an optimization technique to run cpu-intensive operations across additional cpu cores, reducing performance hits on useablity.

Hello,
I got my MOTO G a few days back and the thing that irritates me the most is the high RAM usage (just a mere 330 MB left) when I switch it on.
I was wondering if anyone of you have experienced the same on the stock ROM (KitKat)?
If yes, then what did you do to have greater amount of RAM resources at your disposal? (Except flashing a new ROM or rooting the device, not so much into android modding)
Also, which apps would be safe to disable? Please share your views and solutions to this problem.
Regards.

That it's not a problem - a lot of that usage will be cached processes which Android can chuck out of memory as soon as it's needed for something else. And being cached in the background means those apps will be ever so slightly more responsive when they are launched
List of stuff you can disable?
Anything Google/Motorola which is user facing that you don't use ( I've got Google+, Hangouts, Chrome, Calculator, Play Books, Play Games, Play Movies and TV, Play Music, Email, Migrate, Assist and Help disabled on mine).

To my knowledge, Android is indeed taking good care of its memory. Trying to keep the memory as full as possible. This is an other approach than Windows does.
Btw, apps that I disabled so far: CQATest, Google+, Help, Galery, Drive, Cloudprinter, Motorola assist, Google Play Books, Google Play Music, Motorola DriveActivator, Gmail, Motorola Migrate, Chrome, Google Text to Speech, Motorola Checkin, Translate, Google Play Games, Market feedback agent, Picasa uploader, Streetview, Audio effects, Spooler, Face unlock, HTML viewer, HP Printer Service-plugin and all the live wallpapers.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share with you what we've been working on and released finally yesterday to the store. Will always be FREE and WITHOUT ADS.
Securacy is the first mobile network data application exposer. This software allows you to pinpoint exactly which applications are breaking your concerns in terms of permissions, to where the application talks and if that connection was established over a secure protocol.
Do you want:
- To know what your applications are doing without you knowing?
- To know where your applications are sending data?
- To know how safe is your application?
- To voice your privacy and security concerns?
- To notify others of potential security and privacy invasive applications?
Then this application is for YOU!
=== Data statement ===
Securacy does not collect any personal data. The only data it collects is:
- Your explicit ratings and concerns;
- The applications you use, install, remove and update (to notify you of securacy concerns);
- The details of the network connections that your applications use to send/receive data. This only includes the IP addresses of the servers, and the ports used by the connection. No other data is collected about network connections.
You can find it on the store
Let me know if you have more ideas for it, we are still developing it!
Cheers!

this app made my phone freaking slow! it just keep popping to start the accessibility service though it's on.app crashed when click to show,& app is really slow!log attached.
Sorry to hear that. I took a look at the logcat but it doesn't give me much to go on.
Can you tell me what device are you using, Android version, is it a custom ROM, do you have Google Services installed (it's required for the GMaps)? My guess is that for some reason your device is not returning the list of active accessibility services correctly or at all. If that is the case, then it's better for you to not use it, unfortunately.
Thanks!

I'm trying to solve an issue with the Google Play Services. It is using too much storage, currently more than 700mb. See screenshot, it keeps increasing until there is no storage left. Currently I have to clear the cache and data of Google Play Services every other day to keep the phone usable. Anybody familiar with this problem?
Device is a Sony Xperia E3 running Android 4.4.4

Disable google play services or use micro gapps
Give a Thanks if i helped you!
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830I
Currently Running:CMX11 Beta 6(CyanogenMod 11) with [email protected] kernel
Disabling google play services is not an option. It is my dads phone and the google features should remain usable (gmail, maps, play store, etc.).
Also he is not familiar enough with smartphones to use fancy alternatives for the above mentioned apps.
I'm more interested to fix the huge amount of storage usage without using alternative apps. Currently when I clear the google play sevices data it is back at 700MB+ within a day :/
I have never seen this on another Android devices. If someone has an idea what can cause this huge amount of storage usage, all ideas are welcome.

I suppose that is not possible with a stock version of android? If it was my own phone it would not be a problem, but it is not.
3C Logs - Available on Play Store and XDA Labs, a simple log reader for Android devices.

<b>3C Companion app (non-rooted users)</b> available here: https://3c71.com/3cc
This Windows app helps you configure permissions automatically and requires a PC with ADB and proper USB driver.
Please report all your issues and feature requests in this thread.
Dear users, just to inform you that 3C Log Reader app is suspended.

So far, received no confirmation about why, but I suspect giving ADB commands (pm grant specifically) is against Play Store policy (?).
The app will never be reinstated as-is, and has been superseded by a new app "3C Logs". Not by choice.
Unfair treatment
Here is the reason invoked by Google automated system:
During review, we found that your app violates the policy for section 4.9 of the Developer Distribution Agreement (DDA):
You will not engage in any activity with Google Play, including making Your Products available via Google Play, that interferes with, disrupts, damages, or accesses in an unauthorized manner the devices, servers, networks, or other properties or services of any third party including, but not limited to, Google or any Authorized Provider. You may not use user information obtained via Google Play to sell or distribute Products outside of Google Play.
For example, your app currently contains the facilitation or provides instructions on how to hack services, software or hardware, or circumvent security protections.
Please note that suspensions count as strikes against the good standing of your Google Play Developer account. Egregious or multiple policy violations can result in suspension, as can repeated app rejections or removals.

If you search for "adb pm grant" on Play Store, you'll find hundredth of apps breaching this policy. Only if one considers that it circumvent a security protections. However this granting permission through ADB is only possible since Android 5 and it's not protected in any ways.
When trying to discuss this matter with Google, the only reply is automated:
Hi Developer,
Thanks for contacting the Google Play team.
Unfortunately I'm not able to comment on your planned implementation. If you think your app is in compliance, please submit your app for another review. You may want to review the Developer Program Policies for additional policy guidance.
Please note that suspensions count as strikes against the good standing of your Google Play Developer account. Egregious or multiple policy violations can result in suspension, as can repeated app rejections or removals.
Thanks for your understanding

Hello! I have a lot of apps on Google Play. Some of them have more than 500.000+ downloads, one even about 2.000.000. Since there is a war in my country (I'm from Ukraine), I haven't been developing apps or monitoring my Google Play profile for a long time, more than a year.
During this time, I received one suspension of an unpopular app because of a double interpretation of a phrase in the description of the main page of the live wallpaper ("Saves maximum battery" - I meant that it was a resource and energy-efficient app, but the Google Play administration decided that this is a function that cannot be implemented physically and suspended the application according to the Deceptive Behavior policy), and several removed applications, because I placed links to my other Google Play applications in the settings and did not notice it as advertising.
Now that I have the opportunity to work again, I looked at the statistics and was shocked - my top apps that had more than 5,000+ installs per day don't even have 10.
I also finished and published two apps that I had started to develop before the full-scale Russian invasion. But unfortunately, in two weeks they don't even have 500 installs, and almost all of this traffic is from users of my other old apps.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Is this a shadow ban or just a natural process when you don't pay attention to apps on Google Play for a long time?
IMO there is no way to tell for sure if Google Play has imposed a shadowban.

I haven't really contacted Google support yet, but it's unlikely that it will help. Instagram and TikTok also do not officially recognize shadow bans, but they definitely exist.

Ghost, or green mode. You can test it... depending on the site it will be detectable in various ways. Not undetectable
Gookill does this crap wholesale with their search engine so I wouldn't doubt they do it whenever they like. Especially for money.
