Stamina Mode - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone know if you can install the Xperia Stamina mode in our Nexus?
Greetings!

Stamina mode disables background activities when the screen is off. You can do the similar things with other apps like BatteryGuru and Greenify.

OK for greenify but BatteryGuru gave me worse battery than keeping only the sync services I want always active.

If you swipe down on the home soft key 15 times it will read your fingerprint. (A new S5 feature)

To the right of the earpiece are actually 2 sensors underneath the glass. You just have to cut the glass out to access them. Google and LG decided to not use them at the last minute and just didn't make the cutouts in the glass. Once you do that you just have to flash the S4 boot.img to add the necessary firmware for the sensors. It's a fairly simple process.

[Q] Battery life after flash

Hey all,
I reflashed my oneplus one today with the factory image of 44s. I Did a full wipe with twrp recovery and now everything is back to stock 44s. The only question i have now, is about my battery.
The battery doesnt charge after 96%. I did a full charge overnight but it keeps at 96%. I did the flash at about 20%, i let it drain a fully recharge turned off.
Now i have 4H and 30m on battery, and 36m screen on time and it dropped from 96% to 84% (i installed three apps at 96% and had full brightness for about 1 min). Now my question is, is this any good? or did my flash go wrong?

You're right.. 44S is very buggy for battery stats and other performance..
So full wipe and flash 43 or older version

Plus, I haven't found 44R to be buggy at all on either of the OnePlus Ones that I own. Neither have countless other people, it must be something with your setup.

You're wrong. Go to OnePlus Official Forum and see that some users got problem on this release.
At the moment, only for Italian division, there are 2 topic or 3 each 2-3 hour for the 44R or S!

Lol. A few people having problems doesn't translate to there being something wrong with the release, that isn't how it works at all. If there was truly something wrong with the release we'd see countless people complaining about it here. The fact is, 99% of the time, it's user error to blame.

Thanks! will try that out

What am I doing wrong?

So I checked the battery stats and found that wifi was ON all the time. Even though i left the battery saver ON last noght for 10 hours and also turned on the stamina mode with Extened Stamina turned on too last night and I do it frequently too.
So whats causing this orange wifi bar to appear without breaking. I know that it breaks when it is turned off. So I dont know whats happening.
Any help will be appreciated
It is like caused by the mobile radio active bug in lollipop. You either have to root and disable a bunch of services, flash back to KitKat, or desk with it until Android m is released.
But you could set your WiFi to "stay active never" under the advanced WiFi settings. That provides a temporary solution for me, but some apps like Google services would still find a way to keep it active.
I eventually gave up and rolled back to KitKat. Couldn't be happier now!

Oh so i am not alone in this. Thank you for the useful information. I'll try your method but won't be rolling back to KK. I am happy with the device. Battery time isn't much affected.

If you've never used this phone with KitKat, then you don't realize what you're missing. My battery life doubled when I switched back to KitKat.

I'd like to know how to find these services that keep wifi on..
Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
Just to be sure, in advanced wifi settings, is "scan always available " unticked?

You'll never get them all without crippling your phone. It's a bug within Google services.

Yes its unticked and also i have extended stamina enabled. That should disable wifi automatically, right? But i have seen alot of people complaining about this issue at Sony forums. I am trying, at the moment, to repair the phone using PC companion. Will report back the result
Wish me luck:fingers-crossed:

Battery fading

Within the last two months, same setup and even after full resets, I have gone from getting max 20% a day loss to 30-40% loss.
My S3 is about a year old I tend to charge when around 15 to 20% left.
Anyone finding finding similar?

Yesterday I sent my 4 months old device to service center because battery lasts barely 16hrs (with a lot of thinks off)...

I think I isolated my issue, it's that stupid Samsung Pay, doesn't show in the usage as high but recall since installing (app is waste for me as bank does not support) I lose 1 day battery life.

That's clearly wrong, even on a heavy usage day I get 2 days.

Add me to the list. It's infuriating I've tried everything. I'm now running the simplest, darkest watch face I can find to see if that helps.

Sleep app by Huawei

Hi guys, I've just installed Oreo on my HW2 LTE and I've found some pretty new features like the sleep app. I was wondering if someone could explain me how it works and if it does the job. Thx

It is really simple. Just turn it on from your watch and sleep with the watch on your wrist. Wake up and sync with your Huawei Wear then you will see your sleep details. It will automatically detect your sleep so just wearing it and sleep.
