The zip you flashed caused the problem. Did you make a nandroid before flashing it? You should have
your mod that you flashed is what caused the graphic bug.
you need to fastboot flash the system.img alone from the stock images. that should solve your problem
( you would need to reflash supersu however )
No-.- i try to unroot my phone and totally take it back to stock and root again, i know i'll lose all my data but that doesnt matters thank you for your quick answer too!

Okay so I bought a Blaze a few days ago and I was messing around with it and I rooted it. When I rooted it I flashed a ROM and when the ROM booted up and got to the welcome screen it instantly turned rebooted itself, so I let it boot up again but it constantly reboots. Then I went back to a backup of the stock ROM and it still does the same thing. So I followed a guide that updated me to the ICS update in hopes of it fixing it but it still does the same thing! Now I don't know what to do with it. I was hoping maybe someone can help or if this has happened to anyone? Thanks in advance

I was trying to flash the MIUI build and I think it came with a kernel that I had to download but I'm not sure. I flashed CWM I forgot what version it was

Yes, the miui we have has a link to racing's blue lightning. I would try miui or another ROM again, but make sure to format /system along with wiping data, cache, and davlik. Or use black hole wipe. If you don't have anything important on the internal SD (or back it up) it might be worth it to format the emmc also.

Are you wiping data when you flash the rom?
If you don't have any important stuff on your phone, I would just flash the factory images and start over with the rom process.

Well since he's flashing a rom, it would be rooted and the bootloader unlocked.

It never hurts to ask though. Maybe he did something different and bypassed something. You never know. You got to have the whole story. :sly:

When you flash the ROM it also flashes the kernel that comes with it.
So if you are using Mahdi ROM then everything is ok but if you try a different ROM you get the error constantly?
using the ClockworkMod recovery.
If you receive issues on flashing, double check your download. If nothing, I suggest using the ClockworkMod recovery.

The type of recovery you use will have no bearing on it, hundreds of people on here use twrp and cwm.
All I can suggest and it was suggested before is to wipe your phone completely and start over again. Something went wrong, clearly.
I was having some issues with said otapkg. It kept hanging on me. I found a way to revert the files it checks back to stock and the ota went thru. Prior to doing this I had flashed the new firmware and radios.

I wrestled with it for a little while last night and gave up. I was on stock with twrp, faux kernel, and some xposed modules but not much else. I had also frozen some bloat, which I suspect to be the problem. I tried reverting to the stock kernel, recovery, flashing everything manually, defrosting the bloatware, you name it. Still can't get the damn thing to take.
I tried to install twice with stock recovery and kernel. Only change was frozen isis wallet. Failed both times. Put everything back to my original settings, insecure kernel and twrp and flashed the firmware zips posted on the forum. Worked, but software version is still 1.12

Tried several times...s-off and rooted that's all, nothing else. every time it goes to start flashing i get..."system/app/VZW Accessories.odex has unexpected contents installation aborted" I did have custom recovery but flashed stock recovery back. IDK

I had a different, but similar error.
Do you have any mods? I had a quick toggle for Power Save that stopped mine. You can leave stuff frozen, you just need a stock system. I luckily had a nandroid of stock.

Never mind, I think i have it figured out. I removed several Verizon apps with TB, Pretty sure that's the issue. Forgot all about removing those. Getting old and memory's going fast.
What I ended up doing was taking apps that I modded and replacing back all with stock ones from the system dump. It was kind of a pita but it allowed me to install the ota

My classmate got her phone cwm 6 flashed.
About half hour ago, I asked if she could show me how cwm looks.(cuz no recovery works on my phone)
After that, her phone no longer boot normally like before (always boot into cwm)
The CWM used is found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/development/cwm-recovery-installer-t2589320
Any suggestions?

Is flashmode accessible?
Yes? Just flash a stock FTF
She might have accidentally formatted /system
Or just flash another kernel.. Thats the easiest way and she'll lose no data

Flash another kernel like thunder zap and then flash custom rom
Every thing will be fine

No, os. So you wiped the entire device? You'll have to use adb to put a rom on or side load it.

See rootSU's signature above. He has fine guides linked there. But how do you know you have no os if your data is intact? Do you have a rom zip on your device you can flash in twrp? I assume you don't have a nandroid or you would have tried that already.

i know because it tells me i dont. i can see my data in the twrp file manager.if i had a rom zip installed i wouldnt have posted this topic. thanks for your help
So then download a ROM and push it to your phone so you can then flash it via recovery.
Please try to keep your help requests limited to 1 thread. When you start cross posting , things can get messy
