So guys I'm about to upgrade my win7 machine to win8. Is everything working in windows 8 (lg flash tool, drivers etc.).
And if I need new drivers can someone point me to the place where i can find them (omap drivers and such).
Thanks in advance for your replies.

As you may of seen on Android Police that Nokia have made an android Launcher.
And in all fairness its really quite nice.
It states that it only works on non rooted deviced but you can use root cloak xposed module to use it.
My device is the N9005 and is rooted and i was able to install and use with no problems.
For those who are looking for the modded version with no root check please follow below

Works well with Root Cloak... However it doesn't add Chrome to the list of most used... Opened it quite a few times... Oh well! Anyone know how to change the dock apps?

Op has now been updated. I have kept the version 1 in the op for those who want it.
But have also included version 2 which is the latest release.
Enjoy and leave you feedback

You need to go into the root cloak app and add it.

Is there any emulator that's able to run note 3 software? And also, will I be able to test root software like Towelroot?
Thanks in advance

How can I install Java on A Microsoft surface Pro
Sent from my SM-N910T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
... Same way you install it on any other Windows PC? That's all that the Surface Pro is, software-wise; an x64 PC running Windows 8 Pro or 8.1 Pro.
Eazy Way

I'm not sure what it is you're trying to run, but you can at least confirm whether or not Java installed correctly:
-open a command prompt (cmd.exe)
- type java -version <enter>
For example:
Code:
C:\>java -version
java version "1.7.0_67"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_67-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.65-b04, mixed mode)
You should see something very similar if Java is installed correctly on your machine.

Well, your screenshot confirms Java is installed correctly. What exactly isn't running? If you're trying to run a jar file you would type something like this:
Code:
java -jar filename.jar
I don't do Andriod development, so I don't know what "it doesn't run trying to do Android development" means specifically. Perhaps you need to specify the path to the java environment in whatever application does the Andriod development. Or perhaps you have a version incompatibility. I've also seen cases where an application is specifically looking for 32bit or 64bit so you have to get the right one installed. Lastly, perhaps you need to uninstall and reinstall the Andriod development program after you've got Java installed correctly. You might want to test it with another java application just to be sure it's functioning properly.
Help me to install Java on a Microsoft Surface Pro it shows that an installed but it doesn't run trying to do Android development thank you
