[Q] Galaxy S i9000 stuck at boot screen

Hi all, my galaxy s wont go past the boot screen. I am rooted with cf-root and I flashed a custom rom (miui) with Rom Manager. Then I wanted to go back to previous rom so i flashed CWM recovery backup and when it was finished it just froze on startup screen. I can still boot into recovery mode and download mode but when i boot to recovery mode is says "E:unknown volume for path". and now I also tried to flash stock gingerbread firmware with odin 1.85 but keeps failing.
Please help, dont know what else to do

Ok so now its worse. after I tried to flash firmware with odin, it just shows a picture with cellphone and pc and I cant boot into recovery and if i connect it to the pc when in download mode it says "USB device not recognized".

do not switch your phone when that logo show up on your screen,but try to reconnect your cable without swith off your phone and flash stock firmware with odin

[Q] Samsung galaxy s2 download mode and stock recovery corrupted

My device is on stock unrooted jellybean 4.1.2. It's model number is i9100G. When I try to go in download mode or recovery mode some weird
Screen comes after the Samsung logo and then the phone starts booting. I can't access the download mode or recovery mode. Is there any way???
Or is it possible to flash stock rom without going in download mode. My phone works perfectly fine except download mode and recovery mode. Please help I'm new here and bought this phone from my friend who never rooted or stuff...

Hi everyone..i have i8260..after root and philz cmw recovery install was all good..i backed up my official rom and i download other roms in my sd-card without install them..so my problem begun when i install rom manager and i choose from this programm reboot into recovery..from this moment my phone reboot and restart only in recovery mode..i wiped data etc... but the problem stay the same..i restore the official rom and nothing..i tried to pass a custom rom ....bull ****...what i have to do???? plz help

Ur are now in the Recovery loop..Don't Worry
Try the methode one its more preferable if cant solve the problem try method 2
Methode 1:
1) Download And Put This Attached File In External SD
View attachment CWM_De_Loaper.zip
2) Install This Zip Using CWM Recovery..
3) Turn Off Your Mobile Through CWM Advanced Menu Or By Pulling Out Battery..
4) Now Enter Into Bootloader Mode Using (VOL. DOWN+MENU+POWER )
5) Reinstall CWM Recovery Using Odin..
6) Install New Roms
7)Flash Stock Firmware

1)Flash the stock recovery Using Odin.
Download and Extract it View attachment 2741924
2)then use Emergency Frimware recovery from Kies using PC
3)instructions will be provided in the Kies.
4)this process will take 3 to 4 hours or even more and also need a faster net connection

Thank you very much.i used odin and my problem solved.

Wait a minute. You mean PhilZ CWM? It has no recovery loops and I have tested it on my phone using third-party apps.

please give me a deep info related to download mode and recovery mode ,when to use specific mode ,for which use and so on...! Also what is difference between cwm and cynogen mod.....?.

RECOVERY MODE : It is used to flash custom rom .
DOWNLOAD MODE: It is used to unlock bootloader basically.
CWM and CM Recovery Are Recovery's Used To Flash Custom Rom/Mod

Stuck in Recovery mode, can't get to Download mode

Tried to flashfire a custom ROM and got bootloop, pressed up-volume/home/power but it just boots to recovery mode, not download... I want to flash the stock ROM with Odin. Please help, thanks, Erik
