HI
I bought china tablet to my sister its 1 ghs and and the ram 500 its name p2000 and the rom name p1000/p2000-v030
i rooted it and it works great and i have the original room
i want to edit vold.fstab to change external sdcard to internal sdcard i edit vold.fstab and nothing change and i edit it again and i break it and i flash it with the the original room
pleas any one can help to edit it for me
iam afraid to put vold.fstab of other phone and the tablet will not work again beacuse its china tablet
i uploaded three diffrent files have (from system/etc) name vold.fstab if you want to have lock to the tow others
pleas help

edit it by yourself and change sdcard1 to sdcard0 and sdcard0 to sdcard1
dont forget to include auto command for extsd card(sdcard0 after editing)
I want some one have knowledge to edit it because I did and i break it pleas help

Hey please attach ur stock rom here. I too have p2000 model tablet. And I have changed in stock rom itself.

Hi I want to change the bootanimation on my Ace 2 i8160 but i cant fibd the bootanimation.zip in te folder /system/media ther are only the files : bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg i have deleted this files :banghead: and now i have no bootanimation. How can i change the bootanimation on the ace 2 (i8160)?? can anybody explain how to change the both qmg-files!!

What sense have the SIII mini bootanation when i have a problem with changing the bootanimation?? My problem is that i have to open the qmg files and change the pictures inside. But how to?? I have googled it and found a programm called "qmage" with should can this but i found no downliadsource. Has anybody an idea how to open this files. I am so confused to google for any solution :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

.qmg files cannot be "opened" nor "edited" you will need to download bootanmation4u or something like that.. I forgot. But its somewhere here in xda. Follow instructions and download a bootanimation.zip or grab one from UOT kitchen. Then put the zip where it needs to be. Also, for the n-th time! Post on Q and A thread!!!

hello.
i have this problem since i upgraded to 4.2.2.everytime i try to access the"about device" section from settings,i get this message: "unfortunately,settings has stopped".my phone is rooted.can anyone please help me with this?
Flash your firmware again or if you are deodexed copy the settings.apk to /system/apps and fix permission

It is caused by deleting "pickup tutorial.apk " I had same problem

Thanks guys.i i think i removed some apps that i shouldn't have,so i reflashed firmware,and less cleaning and now everything works.sorry for the trouble,i'm a newbie at this :-[

I'd like to know how to do it too. I had Xperia Tipo before and there you could just edit vold.fstab file, but I can't see it on my I9105P...
EDIT: Ok, in case anybody will still need this: to swap internal and external cards just edit the vold.fstab file (which exists only in Android 4.2.2 and lower - I'm running 4.4.2 and it explains why I couldn't find it).
My SONY XPERIA LT29i is not booting..it is hanged on triangle and blue line..

Hmm, that's strange, I remember that when I did something wrong with vold.fstab on Tipo I could just restore original file it just simply didn't swap the partitions (I wasn't trying to edit vold.fstab on s2+ just because I flashed cm11 a few hours after I got it for Christmas).
Are you sure you did everything right (as shown in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2346389 )?

Hello, I got Rom Manager but it says my decice isnt supported. I do a google search and there are alot of different official and unofficial releases but I dont want to risk installing them on my phone.
Can anybody tell me or post a link to a working version of cwm for the blu advance 4.0 or blu dash 4.0?

If its 4.2.2 then it's jellybean no need to check just try cwm given in the above link !!!
If you want to check then go to setting>about device scroll down and tap the android version(4.2.2)
3 times constantly...!

I followed every step to install CWM but when I rebooot the phone I still get the Android Recovery Menu or something like that. Nothing that says CWM.
Any idea? Thanks a lot for your help.

When android recovery comes then select apply update from sd card>choose your downloaded cwm.zip and voila you are in cwm(clockworkmode).

Someone plz help me, I have tab 2 with Sensonic rc 1 rom. Every time i flash any zip file in recovery mode (philz recovery) it keep showing error plz upgrade to latest binary.

if you have superSU it does the work see that data connection is on

It does mean the update-binary inside the flashable ZIP is not up to date.

No need to replace it. If you like, you can take the update-binary from a KitKat build (ectract it from the Rom.zip) and replace inside your ZIP.
