Hi I want to change the bootanimation on my Ace 2 i8160 but i cant fibd the bootanimation.zip in te folder /system/media ther are only the files : bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg i have deleted this files :banghead: and now i have no bootanimation. How can i change the bootanimation on the ace 2 (i8160)?? can anybody explain how to change the both qmg-files!!

What sense have the SIII mini bootanation when i have a problem with changing the bootanimation?? My problem is that i have to open the qmg files and change the pictures inside. But how to?? I have googled it and found a programm called "qmage" with should can this but i found no downliadsource. Has anybody an idea how to open this files. .qmg files cannot be "opened" nor "edited" you will need to download bootanmation4u or something like that.. I forgot. But its somewhere here in xda. Follow instructions and download a bootanimation.zip or grab one from UOT kitchen. Then put the zip where it needs to be. Also, for the n-th time! Post on Q and A thread!!!

Deodexed stock rom DXLK2. I tried it again with Kyrillos ROM v4's framework and other stuff but with my ROMs tweaks and CSC.

I know. I don't know why but it worked on kebeen19's phone and we're from the same country. Tried it on Jelly Cream 1 & 2 and Kyrillos 3 & 4. but I keep getting stuck @ ace 2 logo and sometimes bootloops.

So it's just for chinese firmware or smth? well I installed with firmware from other counter (don't really remember which) and with TWRP, still didn't work for me, I had to re-flash rom

Fully working on MB2 with Ripple Lockscreen. But do not use Black and Red yet! It will cause bootloops, I will add more colors when I get the chance.

Nah that's easy. Besides, I enjoy what I do. For now 4.1, I have not seen 4.2 in action and I am using google's 4.1 system image. Can you give me a copy of 4.2 SystemUI?

more like list of sh** the ink effect soft brick my device as in when i boot i get the aosp lockscreen and its untouchable -.- after a restore from a previous backup i tried the popup browser which resulted in a boot loop -.-

Don't use the black and red color yet and have you changed the permission properly? cuz the framework.apk was like rwxrwxrwx if I'm not mistaken, I changed it to match all the other system apps.

You need the files on the 4th step to make it work. Just download the 4th step file and extract it, copy and replace (make backup first) the android.policy.jar into system/framework and change the permission to rw-r--r-- and the two .so files to to system/lib and change the permission to rw-r--r-- too. CMIIW

May be just one comment for the file replacement to avoid any problems if some folks just drop your modified apk in the apps folder. In the modded roms the file names might vary, e.g. in my case the file was named SecMyFiles2.apk due to changes made by the rom cooker I guess.

It very easy ... Download (CarHd Rom v15) open it via WinZip and Open System/app .
Then extract it to your Desktop and then put it on your internal oder ext. storage . Rootexplorer put it back to System/app and replace it. Done.
