The warning message doesn't reduces the volume. It's just a warning. The volume increases the same as before the warning. So what's your point? The warning WARNS you of high volume that could permanently damage your ears. It's not recommended to increase the volume above the warning value. But if you really insist so, the volume isn't decreasing after the warning!!! I really don't see your problem.
Oh, well. Merry Christmas, and success with your music.

Speakerboost, its free on Google Play Store, it increases my Android's loudspeaker passed its actual maximum volume level, in other words louder than the default
how hard is that to understand

actually quite hard when you answer the way you did. when you have 2 or 3 possible solutions above your post and you just answer 'it worked' one finds it hard to tell which worked. and then responding the way you did full of arrogance when he asks you what you meant is counter productive to say the least. what's more in a post where YOU asked for help.
This is a mod based on the libraries Beats, completely replaces audioconfig Smart, does not increase the volume (and other fashion), only the sound quality.
With third-party players who themselves process the sound and ignore the system settings (such as poveraimp) not working (it will work if you turn off this processing in the player settings) as BeatsEQ this system EQ it works with system applications and change the sound when listening to Music, Video, WEB (Internet), BLUETOOTH, and other audio streams system.
Installation CWM
Put on a clean system.
4.2.2 ODEX / DEODEX
Backup before installing.
Backup is the only way to roll .
(a lot of files , and then pull them out of the firmware problem , especially as some stock is replaced.)
For S4 I9500

What does this specifically do?

Thank you so much. That increased the volume, and also, I used this mod and enjoy it very much
I got strange behavior with it. It works initially then when I disconnect and reconnect my headphone, no eq effect. sometimes it kicks in automatically in a minute or so sometimes doesn't.

Regarding the sound, I found an app on the playstore that bumps up the volume a lot. Check it out : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.Earpiece
It works. Just turn it on, click on " Audio trough earpiece" and see how much the volume is raised .

I think, he thought this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vipercn.viper4android4x&hl=pl or this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223 - for sound.
Generally, if you can, you should install CM10 - no problems with sound, or camera(rotated view in front camera)(with camera zoom fx)
Or, you can try to install AC!D Engine for sound (CM10 has it, and music sounds like a dream), but for now, I'm searching for how to install it in JLo(it is possible, look in my thread).
Can anyone suggest anything??
Bad how?
Crackly?
Not loud enough?
Too loud?
Mumbly?
Distorted?
What headphones?
What app are you using?
Are they good quality MP3's?
Have you tried playing will all the different audio settings in walkman and in the sounds panel in the settings?
You've given zero info.
It isn,t loud enogh!!
I don't find it loud enough!!
although i've tried every possible setting in the walkman!!

You can try increasing the Max Gain value in Playback Gain Control of V4A, that should help, if all you require is higher volume..
And I would really recommend giving V4A another shot, the many options may seem intimidating at but once you try out different settings, you may come to love it (like I did ). Especially the convolver function, tty it out bro, you can find many good IRS samples all over the internet and here on XDA too.. I use BBE Generic Preset 4 myself..
I don't know much about other sound mods, sorry.. Hope this helps.

That is true, but the effect is not that big... Only a little increase in the volume level (tried with my earbuds, not headphones though). At least, thats what I've experienced.

Different Kernels
Hi! I strongly recommend any kernel that you want for improving sound with your headphones, specially
Thunderzap v.4.1 r-2
or
Phantom v7.
If you have JB i recommend too the Phoenix Kernel for Xperia L, developed by the team of Navneet Suresh.
i recommend ViPER4Android :good:
