anyone lucky patcher works to remove advertising in applications? Before it worked fine but since upgrading to 4.4.2 does not work remove advertising

To answer your question though, I believe Lucky Patcher does not work on 4.4.2. If all you want to do is block ads, use AdAway.

Anybody know a good site to get pro or full version of apps without paying
That is called warez or more technically stealing from the developer who spent ther time and effort making the app and is very frowned upon on this site which coincidentally has a ton of developers.
Best sites for what you're looking for are THIS ONE and THIS ONE
wow... you sir are a douche - i hope someone steals from you... funny how thieves like you ***** about DRM

i dont want to install paid app, how to "jail break" android?
you cant "jail break" a android.
sorry.go buy an iphone or what ever.
WE dont support pirate's!
'Rooting' is the Android equivalent and the method may vary depending on the device. Check out the forum specific to your device (if there is one) and read the stickies.

What you really need is someone to teach you how to search.
ive never heard about android jailbreak ^^
On android we call that rooting. The search will assist you further.
Keep in mind discussing pirated software is not allowed in xda.

Rooting not jail breaking .. and you don't need root to get free paid apps.. but a warning.. its ILLEGAL TO GET FREE PAID APPS..

jailbreak...this is android only rooted
Think this one should be closed, note the warnings above regarding paid apps and warez (any more of that will get you in to hot water here!)
Thanks.
I don't know what to use. I've used AdFree before but replaced it with AdAway. Recently I switched from a CDMA carrier to a GSM carrier. And AdAway is telling me to alter my APN proxy. I already had to alter my APN proxy to get Data to work in the 1st place. So this is something I won't do. AdBlock Plus doesn't block ads in apps so it's not enough for me. Last time I used AdFree it was having problems. Is AdFree sorted or is there another app I haven't heard of?

I use this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1916098
It's not an app, it's a flashable zip, but it works better than any ad blocking app I've ever used and gets updated pretty regularly.
If I had a dollar for every time I said that, I'd be making money in a very weird way.

I always have that installed on my phone and I never see any of that stuff so I guess it does. The only ads that I see with this installed is the ones highlighted in yellow in the Google search results, but I guess they refer to those as "Sponsored Links" instead of calling them what they are.lol

Yes, looking at its hosts file, that's what this thing consists of, it is blocking adfly as well.

You really should only respond when you are certain that your information is correct, not when you are *thinking* that it *might* be correct.

PS: I don't care about "don't bump up old threads, I'm crying like a baby girl now"-losers.
I am looking for the best available solution (currently using adaway)
I recently started using Go SMS Pro, but adaway can't block either the in-app ads nor the pop-up ads that come up after closing GO SMS
Any ideas?
anyone using one of the three aps and successfully blocked ads by GO SMS?

My response was adequate and was within the boundaries of the forum rules, unlike your post. To quote something you posted elsewhere:

Just like you said when quoting the rules at others, "NEVER post in a DEMANDING, ARGUMENTATIVE, DISRESPECTFUL or SELF-RIGHTEOUS manner." Good day, Sir.

6. Do not post or request warez.
If a piece of software requires you to pay to use it, then pay for it. We do not accept warez nor do we permit members to request, post, promote or describe ways in which warez, cracks, serial codes or other means of avoiding payment, can be obtained or used. This is a site of developers, i.e. the sort of people who create such software. When you cheat a software developer, you cheat us as a community.

I just wanted to reply and thank you as I got this working on my Nexus 6. Since moving to Marshmallow and losing (temporarily) Xposed, I've been using an older hacked Spotify and lost new features. This is working great so far.

Really great job on the ROM. Lots of customization xtras and battery life is really really good. After using this for 2 days I only have 1 issue and that's with the anti-piracy app setting. Ive looked everywhere in settings but cant find where to shut it off. I can't install lucky patcher and unfortunately, that's a deal breaker and I'd hate to have to change ROM's when this is, honestly, my favorite one yet for the Kindle by far. Thank you for your time.

There's not a switch off sadly.
I know that there's a way to disabled it but I don't remember how.

I know. I agree with the idea of it, and I'm not complaining about it.
Hdmi out Works?
Thanks for the rom! Love AICP, it's what I use on my phone too.
Doesn't seem to have Tap-to-wake, is that a hardware limitation? any chance of adding it? One of my favorite features, and would be very useful on the kindle, as I find myself fumbling for the hard to find power button.
This Content Guard is shady to say the least. Why the need to go to closed source with it now? This isnt about piracy its about PRIVACY. This **** belongs on iOS not Android. Its cool tho the workaround is pretty easy, dont forget that pirates and FOSS are one and the same and all this stuff does is makes people learn new ways to circumvent the b.s.

Its an old post but I just have to say that if you want to use warez(lucky patcher) then you DESERVE to have issues with your device.
Some nerve to come here and complain to a developer about his ROM not allowing you to use software designed to steal from other developers? REALLY!?
This community is a community of developers, I doubt there is any developer on the whole site that gives a **** about your inability to use Lucky Patcher.

Did you forget that XDA is an open source community? My issue is with the anti-piracy add on being closed source. For me, and I'm sure a lot of other XDA members, it's about privacy, not piracy.

It isn't about what your purposes are, it's the fact that it is warez, that is all.

No one came to you asking you to use his ROM.
Use it or don't, but don't come complaining because the ROM won't allow you to use a piece of software designed to steal from other developers, whether you are using it for that purpose or not. Your entire complaint is based on the fact that you can't use Lucky Patcher because as you stated, "that's a deal breaker for you", you will get no sympathy anywhere on XDA about not being able to use it.
If your complaint were in some other area then someone here might be willing to make some changes.
Anyway, you understand that Lucky Patcher isn't tolerated at XDA in any way, shape, form or function, so why waste your time complaining about it. Move on and enjoy your device with something else.
